Back then we didn't have the Internet and knew nothing about this dual life of his. It kinda makes you happy that the man had his own personal Oz so to speak where he could be related to just as a man. It's nice that he had that freedom to go somewhere where he could just be himself. No wonder he went there so often. It's a nice thing to watch. (-:
man has balls of steel at the time not going to war was punishment by death had his boxing license cancelled basically his whole everything was in jeopardy.....R.I.P MUHAMMAD ALI.....
The saddest part of this is the Brian London story. The poor bloke looks broken by regret and will probably take it to his grave. All i can say is,just by entering the ring with Ali,he did what 99.9% of mankind would never contemplate ever doing for all the tea in China. Brian,i hope you find peace with yourself. You are a proud man and good person-don't let your pride haunt you.
AWESOME CLASS DISPLAYED BY ALI. HATERS WILL NEVER GIVE HIM THE CREDIT HE DESERVES AS A MAN, A FIGHTER AND A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE U.S. IN BOXING AND HUMANITARIAN ENDEAVORS. A WORLD RENOWNED HUMAN BEING.
Looks like people haven’t learned anything from the greatest man ever thats why we dont stand up and stop all this nonsense going around in this world today.
Ali -- no hero of mine, and I do hate the worship. Very good HW boxer. Wish we could agree on that and then not be afraid to totally disagree w/other aspects of the man. Oh well ...
No problem with that. Since he's no hero of yours, you would naturally hate the 'worship', so to speak. There will be someone you really like and someone who feels the way you do here, about that person...respect for an achievement, but not a fan. Not everyone has the same tastes. At least you said as much without badmouthing him. I wish that would happen more often.
