Aman Siddiqi has a you tube channel that shows the Quran word by word very slowly. That is how I have helped my youngest daughter during her Quran class. Her Quran teacher makes them recite each ayat 100 times when they are learning.
I really think you need a full video on her story on how she memorised the Quran it's a very important story to tell especially for converts who are trying to memorise

Sister please pray for me. I’m crying for struggling in memorising Surah Al Mulk. It’s one of my favourite Surah which I read every night before I go to sleep, but I’m still experiencing difficulties in instilling this beautiful verses inside my heart, my mind and my soul. Listening to people like this makes me realize how much I admire and respect certain aspects of other religions, even if I may not subscribe to their beliefs. I hope to strive for her kind of dedication in my own religious life, and to be able to grow from that.

Saying people are rubbish for calling something rubbish kind of puts us all in the same place... No further than when we started and further entrenched in our points... I don't think all are rubbish obviously... I subscribe to something. And to me, not believing in anything is rather depressing. But to each their own... I can only hope I live my life in a way that may make someone else look and say, "I wonder what makes her tick?" And they ask more. Then I can contribute to their conversation and thought process... Not an easy position to take and hold.... And I fail at it often. But I do hope to grow from the good things in other's lives that still hold up to what I believe. Even if they themselves don't believe what I do, and maybe I'll be able to make an impact on them too.

MashaAllah sister you are a motivation for me . I reverted to islam 7 years ago and memorised last few surahs for salah from transliteration but InshaAllah I will too memorise it whole of it InshaAllah ...I am 28 years old right now ... 😞. I too want to die with Quran in my heart.
How pathetic I feel when I see people struggling to memorise Quran when me an Arabic speaker could memorise in a year or two but never start to do it نسأل الله الهداية
even non arabic speaker could memorize iit in 2 years or more, I dont know why but she spend 20 years for this good patience usually kids memorize it in 2 years or more even for non arabic speakers
I feel like that too. I am an Arabic speaker as well but I just have alot of school work & things to do at home, but I feel like that's a very dumb excuse & I should Hafiz the Quraan. But I am just lazy & yeah, it's okay because Hafiz the Quraan is not obliged, May الله forgive all of our sins. Ameen ❤️

How can her friends laugh at her. It disgusts me. If your friends have a passion let them have it. Your not too old or young to do it. May Allah guide the Sisters and May Allah guide everyones passion that has a good intention.
I believe the friend laughed at her thinking how she underestimated the task, like the sister said she memorized it in 20 years and after that she realized why her friend was laughing, please always look into the brighter side of people's actions .

*Short Story Time with me!* I've always wanted to read the Holy Quran, but its is hard to read Arabic! I still try, my older brother was able to read the quran in 2 years! I really don't know how but, now my brother is like my role-model, I look up to him, and whenever he has time, he helps me with learning the Quran!

Well if it's passion, then I'm so passionate about singing that I've memorized dozens and dozens of songs, operas etc. (probably more than quran) in foreign languages I have never really learned besides the songs, italian, france, german, russian... 😅
Yeah but then again I can’t help but feel like it’s a waste. Everybody is so caught up in doing the same things all of our ancestors have done instead of trying to do something new and advance our society. Imagine if she had spent those 20 years working on world hunger, or rocket science, or climate change, or corrupt governments, or medical science, or literally anything other than memorize something that is already written and does nothing for the people she cares for after she is dead. But at least there is a valid reason when it’s done for religion rather than just being too caught up in money, fame, women, drugs, materialism, etc.

I was a US Marine' now a civilian! My views on the world generally are a threat to those close to me or anyone upon who I reveal them to! This is a slow process but i was drawn towards Islam now it feels more of a strong pull towards Allah! I'm doing it all on my own! Haven't reached out yet as I want to be knowledgeable and show my dedication before I try and find a mosque! ALHUMDULILLAH I memorised it (Surah Al Mulk)just by reading it everynight with a slow recitation by Mishary Rashid in my ear phones, but I can't remember anymore how long it took me till I had memorised it... Next I want to try and learn surah Al Kahf. May Allah make it easier for me.

@@claudius_drusus_ first of all, muhammeds miracles have been reported by people who didn't even know him and who lived thousands of miles away from him. Now name credible sources outside the Bible, torah or any holy book that prove other prophets' miracles (not that I deny them).

Same with the Bible. Most Christians haven't read it completely through and would be astounded with what their pastor leaves out. Idk how anyone rational can read either of these completely and follow them
@@whitestguyuknow It's the same for pretty much every religion. The problem is as well that these books are rewritten so many times by different religious leaders and "prophets". Also every time the religion reforms a new book is written. When new books are found that contradict the current teaches they demonize those books. (It's happened a lot of Christianity because of how many religious leaders and prophets told their own versions of the religious stories) There are actually good basic teachings is most religious text. It's when you get down to what the religious leaders wrote in their point of view that it devolves into something like Islamism or Evangelicals.
I speak Arabic and I memorize the Quran, I mean obviously it’s easier when you can read it straight in Arabic but you can forget some of it quickly you need to keep reading and reading

That shows how important the womens are. and The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Treat women kindly" "The men believers and the women believers are responsible for each other. They enjoin the good and forbid the evil, they observe prayers and give charitable alms and obey God and his Prophet.” (Qur’an, 9:71). "To whoever, male or female, does good deeds and has faith, we shall give a good life and reward them according to the best of their actions.” (16:97) Men and women both are promised the same reward for good conduct and the same punishment for evil conduct. The Qur'an says: And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women. (2:226) Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Fear Allah regarding women. Verily you have married them with the trust of Allah, and made their bodies lawful with the word of Allah. You have got (rights) over them, and they have got (rights) over you in respect of their food and clothing according to your means.

We are sinners and no amount of good things we do in our own power will save us from eternal damnation. Only through Jesus Christ. Just as it was in the old covenant in the Old Testament where they needed a sacrifice and offering for the forgiveness of sins, so shall it be the same for all times. Blood must be poured out for the forgiveness of sins this is why lambs were offered up the LORD. Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice and the Lamb of GOD who takes away the sins of the world if you seek repentance and trust in his saving grace. Don't be fooled by the Quran. It's merely here to mislead many. God has given me eyes to see that it's all a lie, please trust in God not the Quran or your own power. Sacrifice of God is what is the key difference between all religions. All other religions claim to reach enlightenment or heaven, or some sort of happy ending through your own power. And that is PRIDE. Don't fall to pride like Satan did. Trust in Jesus, the Son of God. John 5:22 "Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son." @@benbenoy4419 You dont understand the make up of God and humans. We are made in God's image. What is God made up of? He is made up of Body, Spirit, and Soul. This is also the make up of humans. They each have different roles and different reactions to the things around them. For humans sin is pleasurable to the Body for a temporary time. However, what most don't realize is that it is torture for your Soul and Spirit. Sin hurts you even if you don't realize it. When Jesus says that he and the Father are one, he is saying that he his the equivalent of the body of God. The Father is the Soul where the Will of God is. And the Advocate/Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God who lives in those Baptized in Jesus name. Jesus says that ask of him in his name he will do for you. John 14:13 "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Jesus is ONE with the Father. Your Body doesnt know all the things that your Soul and Spirit do just like Jesus with the Father and the Holy Spirit. John 14:6 "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." The scriptures tell you that he is God come in flesh and that he is one with the Father. Muslims need the read the bible and not just the Quran. All they know is the Quran and they never know much of the bible. At the very least know the New Testament. The old Testament are the books that the Abrahamic religions were founded on and yet you think God almighty would not preserve them to retain his wisdom? Read the bible. Because it will make things clear if you truly seek truth and love. You cannot have one without the other. If you want I can give you more examples from the bible that say that Jesus is God or one with the Father, or strong implications that he is God. Please read the bible for yourself. God bless.

This really says A LOT about how much easier it is for kids to learn things when you also know that children who start between the ages of 8-13 can memorize all 600 pages of the Quran in 3 years and regularly do so in mosques all over Muslim countries.
@Zygy __ not to mention all that ancient text has been rewritten and revised a bunch. So none of us even know the true meaning of Islam. Same with Christianity, revised and rewritten to fit certain rulers desires for the population.
