Join us as we reminisce about vacationing. I'm sure we all are itching to get away to someplace special. Our favorite destination is Florida. We have been going to Marco Island for many years and plan on going back soon sometime this year. We will forever stay at the JW Marco Island Marriott.

Thanks for the comment! Was the buffet open yet? We’re you able to sit and dine at Quinn’s by the pool? Brian always raves about the grilled chicken sandwich they had years ago, we wish they would bring it back. We can’t wait to go again soon.

@@allthingscolene Yes, the breakfast buffet was open every morning as well as the sit and dine at Quinn’s by the pool. They deliver Quinn’s on the beach (adult side) so it was nice to eat lunch on the beach. Marco Island is a lovely town so we enjoyed the local restaurants down the street and shops as well.

We have been hesitant to book because we love the buffet breakfast & heard with Covid it’s been closed. But that’s great news!!! We love the JW Marco Island Resort & will continue to go back! How exciting. The Snook and Doreens are two of our favorites in town.

I see this comment is from 2 years ago. The resort usually has a guitar player at the main pool. There is a nightly Fire show at sunset, it is quick! Only a few minutes but neat to see. They now have a mini arcade and mini bowling alley in the new building for entertainment. This resort is certainly more for relaxation - Pool and Beach. Years ago they had an awesome grilled chicken sandwich. It was quick and simple, but delicious. They certainly cater to higher end palates today.
