Fo many years, I didn't understand how narrow the path and gates were. The key to understanding this, is knowing how much God loves each of us AND what we give back to Him with prayer, fast and alms giving... or should I say CHARITY. Loving Him doesn't simply mean believing and following. It means praise and thanksgiving and ridding our selves of the false idols in this world! Amen?

Amen! That “loop of Grace” Bishop Barron describes. We are vessels and the pattern is to open fully and receive bountifully in love and trust, and then pour all that out for love of God and creatures. And then repeat and repeat and repeat with, prayerfully, ever more depth of surrender and humility. Thank you for your words.

I m thinking and thinking about this for weeks,months..the way to tell ppl about God..,salvation..those ppl who are believers Christians but not Catholics..I tell them about confession and how much is that crucial,,so so important..it is the greatest gift od our Lord.Dear father Mike,I would love to talk to You about this cause it is so important.The way we approach to ppl is so important🙏

Jesus give me strength as I struggle to take care of my children. Both of my sons are special needs and require so much from me. Lord Jesus I’m overwhelmed as a single mother. I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries and constantly struggling to pay rent and now that I’m home schooling my sons I’m struggling even more. Lord give me strength I can’t do it without you.💕❤️💕

You never see a street an avenue named narrow way. Broadway as if they are subliminally telling us to take the Broadway.

Ha! Never thought of that. How true. These days, it’s Broadway that’s jammed with traffic and the narrow way empty. So the narrow way, paradoxically, is the fast track to Heaven!
