@drewskiwest5284
@drewskiwest5284 16 дней назад
@@illegalaryan8400 one of my favorite scenes. i LOVE rewatching the movie after YEARS of not watching it but still, i will never forget the "big twist" - however, the more I watched it the more "twists" i saw. Such as many, many characters are also part of the "narrator's" aka Edward Norton's character's Psyche. I.e. Bob. Robert Paulson. somewhere in the beginning he's explaining his job to a woman about being a major car recall person, explains some algorithm they base financially as to whether or not to perform a "recall" we see Bobs outfit (the flannel shirt) in the car that was engulfed in flames. and when he speaks at their first meeting, he says "his kids won't call him" - makes me think its because they died in that car crash. Because another adjuster or possibly a cop said "just look at how the driver's body fat burned into the seat" and also points to the cigarette in the side door ashtray (which i haven't seen in cars since i was a child) Also Marla not being real either. since we only hear Brad Pitt's character "Tyler" having S*x with Marla when Edward is working out in another part of the fake house on paper street - a fake street. a quote that's never finished on the bus when they first start hanging out - brad says to edward "Mast*rbation is self-improvement..." He's essentially chokin the chicken in those scenes. but the film shows him doing sit ups or whatever. Also, another way they messed with the industry because there were so many "issues" with the script due to the word police, Brad's last outfit in the end scenes, he's wearing that vest-jacket with nothing but pr0n scenes ALL OVER IT. So, Tyler Durden is allegedly the true name of the Narrator and the reason he has so many fake names at these group seminars so he can "sleep" is just Fragments of his psyche. One proof of both Tyler(as Brad) and Marla both being fake is when the cops go to Marla's apartment when *SOMEONE* called the cops on her "self delete attempt" from swallowing a whole bottle of xanax, you can see the cops' reflections as they run down the hallway, but you never see Brad's reflection NOR Marla's. In regards to BOB again, they've successfully detonated a small IED on a "modern art installation" which was a ball rolling into a hipster cafe shop- one member of Project Mayhem gets clipped by a pursuing cop, and Bob is absolutely MASSIVE, so how in the WORLD did they not only ESCAPE from a police chase that has shot at least 1-2 of them and blew the brains out of big bob, how did they get his body BACK to the FAKE HOUSE on Paper Street? its also foreshadowing as to how Ed's tyler ending Brad's tyler. I believe the MOVIE is entirely based on two major themes: Losing control of masculinity and being disenfranchised in America, being emasculated in so many ways, as well as the FIRST one suggested by his doctor who refuses to give him any kind of medication for chronic insomnia. He tells him, "if you wanna see pain, go down to X church and see the men dealing with testicular cancer" WHERE HE MEETS BOB the EX BODY BUILDER (his psyche's FATHER FIGURE) as that's his first visit to those type of places and he finally gets to let loose and cry and sleep. same with Marla; at the end of the movie, the further he gets away from his multiple personalities (Brad's Tyler Durden is hyper masculine while Marla is the feminine in the male) - he slowly loses his pants and eventually we see that beautiful ending shot of him holding hands with Marla since he picked HER over Brad's TYLER via self-inflicted GSW to the face/head, which mirrors how BOB was executed by the "police" - the back of his head spilled out onto the Paper Street "house" kitchen floor... same as Brad's Tyler having the back of his head split open and falls to the floor disappearing. and we see Ed and Marla holding hands as the big banking centers collapse from the controlled demolition from the Project Mayhem, successfully setting everyone back to 0 debt. Which at the time, was a play on the SCARE of Y2K where banks did NOT KNOW what the computers would do when midnight came and it changed from 1999 to 2000. instead of it crashing all the systems and causing irreparable damage - the computer just ticked up to 20100. which honestly they had never thought of. Anyway the other theme is MPD / DID. mental illness. Going back to Marla, she walks through traffic like a ghost, not caring if she gets hit due to edwards narration stating "she thinks she can die at any point so when its her time its her time, until then she can't die" - this is further proof to me that she is a figment of his imagination. What i can't explain is his space monkeys interaction with Marla as well as Edward. But when the space monkeys are in the same scene as those 2, its skewed, unreliable narrator, and when the car crash scene where Brad's Tyler says "just let go" and Ed's Tyler does. Ed's Tyler crawls out the drivers seat instead of passenger. the more you watch the more you see and connect dots. i can't imagine being so far gone mentally that you legit create multiple people who do NOT truly exist. Which also reminds me of another person who didn't really exist as well as the staff. When he woke up and started going through his company's severance package - multiple free flights and what not, he started going around to these cities and seeing first hand that pocket Fight Clubs had started. He goes to a bar that's OBVIOUSLY closed, and EMPTY. He turns his head one way and then BOOM, the "Bartender" appears out of nowhere with headgear from a spinal fracture (i assume) and he keeps asking "is this a test?" - since he shows him the chemical burn. Only AFTER that conversation does he start hearing the chanting, "His name was Robert Paulson" by the kitchen staff in a prayer-like circle. Then he returns to the hotel and calls Marla and asks her what his name is, "Say my name, SAY MY NAME!" and she calls him a freak and finally calls him Tyler Durden, Tyler Durden! I'm coming over! and before he can tell her NOT TO, she hangs up and poof. Brad re-appears in his hotel room and he slowly has flashbacks of all the things he's done while being blacked out/disassociated. He never truly had insomnia but rather DID/MPD. working all day and at night his dominating personality would emerge as either Marla or Tyler Durden. it was a fight over Masculine EGO or Feminine EGO since he felt like having testicular cancer and having his testicles removed would mean he was no longer a man. That was the REAL REASON he went to the doctor. Hence the OFF-the-WALL response to "go to this church where men suffering from this SPECIFIC cancer to see true pain" to me it'll always be a masterpiece. i haven't seen a good movie since that era... Fight Club, American History X, Se7en, Lucky Number Slevin, so on and so forth... they don't make films like this anymore because its "OFFENSIVE' to someone. somehow. someway. There's NO ROOM for creativity or artist to actually make original works of fiction.

Even then, there's on 30-40 types of stories. NO matter timeline, era, location, characters, whatever; there's only a finite amount of stories that can be told and portrayed. Its been forever since I've seen a genuinely new idea. Hollyweird is in this GROTESTQUE cycle of doing NOTHING but REMAKES and REBOOTS where they conform to gender bending, catering to gender swapping for the sake of virtue signalling as well as race swapping on purpose for NO OTHER REASON to do it. Prime example would be the black Ariel movie where TONS of black mothers in America uploading their daughters' reactions to the movie and it was UNANIMOUS that all the little girls were UPSET because at that age, they are NOT programmed and exposed to agendas and propaganda to HATE. I will NEVER forget the first one I saw where the sweetest little child turned around when her mom filmed her reaction to "How did you like the movie?" and the lil girl said in such a sad tone but also a VERY ARTICULATED understanding: "Mommy, that's NOT Ariel! That was NOT the Mermaid. Ariel was WHITE with RED HAIR! She wasn't Black!" - If anyone has been around kids or has kids (i do not have kids nor do i think i can even have them.. which is soul crushing tbh) But their sheer innocence, ZERO FILTER, and inability to NOT BE AFRAID OF TELLING THE TRUTH; she wasn't being mean or having anything negative in which the "liberals/democrats/"left"" what you to THINK due to all these agendas by sick people in high places... The child was simply stating the truth... Ariel wasn't black... she was never intended to be. With that SHORT CLIP, she proved that in the eyes of the child, the AGENDA was CLEAR to her but she did NOT KNOW WHY. and she was SO confused as to why they would make a movie about a fake character. Meanwhile adults will scream until they are blue in the face or a fight breaks out over "it DOES NOT MATTER! Race shouldn't MATTER! Gender shouldn't MATTER!" But when you're telling a story that decades old, centuries old, you can't just go changing characters' gender or race... because then you are NOT telling THAT story, you are making up a NEW ONE that is NOT FAITHFUL to the SOURCE and was completely created with the SOLE PURPOSE to make people fight. So many films have done this... and especially when it comes to women... trying to portray them as being humans that have that warped mentality of "I don't need no man, I'm a strong, independent woman that don't need no man!" Yet... they do. because they can't change a tire. They can't raise a nuclear family... They can't teach their sons what ONLY a FATHER can teach them. Same with daughters, daughters NEED FATHERS in their life MORE than they need their mother imo. Because a Father's love protects them and TEACHES them the nature of men, the difference between a GOOD MAN and a man with FALSE PRETENSES, Pretending to be GOOD only to start abusing them when they're in too deep to get out without fearing for their life and having NO FATHER to PROTECT THEM from those psychos.

If it wasn't for women who grew up without fathers, or had "daddy issues" because THEIR MOTHERS married BAD MEN who turned a blind eye to the abuse that BAD MAN subjected their child to (both male and female children) abused by gross, horrible men, and the wife/mother does NOTHING to protect them.... this happens in the MOST WEALTHY of families as well as the MOST POOR of families; hence one of the reasons the government has gone to such great lengths to get RID of the middle class and allow the DESTRUCTION of the nuclear family... These girls go on to be street workers, strippers, and sadly sometimes worse than being p!mp3d out; human trafficked... i've seen so many Soft White Underbelly videos of women who live the street life with []D [] []V[] []D s or have been trafficked internationally but escaped... it is completely soul shattering and heart breaking all at once. I will never understand why the USA has allowed and pushed this agenda on us like this... and if you challenge it or speak out against it, guess what? YOU ARE ALWAYS THE WRONG ONE. The MAIN REASON The COLONIES SPLIT From the EU was because of the Catholic Church; this is where Protestantism CAME FROM as well as the word "PROTESTING" - the 2-3% TAX HIKE was the straw that broke the camel's back and began the independence war. Now they've programmed and confused SO many americans into believing that gender is "fluid" and you can "identify" as whatever you want and if someone questions it, you are in the wrong and a horrible person if you don't automatically know to call them certain pronouns. Science is being ignored. biology and anatomy is completely ignored. XX = Female, XY = Male... it is that simple. Science. No religion attached. But if you want to attach religion to it, it is a total SIN to live their lifestyles, and there are several passages that false prophets and twisted pastors are preaching to the masses (even MEGACHURCHES who make so much money that the Pastor/Preacher/whatever FLIES IN THEIR OWN PERSONAL JET AROUND THE WORLD AND HAVE MULTIPLE MANSIONS) No TRUE Holy Man will be absurdly WEALTHY. They do NOT worship the Creator, the worship the money - aka Mammon. As one passage states: "No man can worship two gods, he can worship the Creator [God] or he can worship Mammon." Mammon has many meanings, some that are still used today (i.e. middle eastern etymology states Mammon = money in Arabic) Further back before that, Mammon was the Angel in Heaven who spent MORE TIME looking DOWN at the golden roads of Heaven rather than LOOKING UP at the CREATOR. And when Lucifer or his angelic name, Samael, "revolted" and took 1/3 of all Angels with him to the Abyss, some were kicked out for NOT picking a side due to inaction, one being a Seven Deadly Sin - Sloth, and the other Mammon, who preferred Gold over GOD. Same with Politicians, they claim to be religious yet a famous quote from century or so ago, "Show me a wealthy politician and I'll show you a crook." Politicians are NOT inherently supposed to be WEALTHY and certainly NOT to the degree in which they ARE TODAY. Same with RELIGIOUS FIGUREHEADS. Especially the Pope... who is now embracing not only "Aliens" claiming if they exist (which US government and other governments have straight up disclosed that they DO EXIST and they do NOT KNOW WHERE They came from or WHAT THEY REALLY ARE in 2015-2017, NO ONE CARED OR PAID ATTENTION due to constant mainstream media reporting on the manufactured "opiate/opioid crisis" that was caused by the same government who allowed Big Pharma to hold those conventions where they show doctors their new medicine and tell them extraordinary claims how they get rid of chronic pain without side effects - Oxycontin and Fentanyl were the big two. the OLD Oxycontin that had a black coating that you could peel off and then crush'n'snort. 2015-2017 they went around stripping doctors of their license for "over prescribing" but they were TOLD to by the government and Pharmaceutical companies that got kickbacks per patient prescribed their new 'miracle drug.' Another famous quote: "To know who is in control, look to who can not be criticized without punishment." or something REAL close to that. Which group of people are the TOP of the list that you absolutely can NOT say ANYTHING negative about without threat of death, prison or ruining your career indefinitely? I'll give you a hint; they claim to be from Hebrew origins but they are NOT. Hence the word "Jewish" - they are NOT true Jews that follow Judaism... we live in such a twisted world and I am genuinely terrified for whats coming due to all the things happening in America... Men claiming to be women, women claiming to be men, surgeries, hormone injections which CAN NOT BE REVERSED, and yo don't need any parental consent for such procedures. Why are these "doctors" not stripped of their license like the pain management doctors? We're currently going through a Crisis of Faith, a Spiritual War, soon a CIVIL WAR part 2, as well as World War 3, that will actually touch American Soil if NOT START on American Soil due to the 10,000 illegal immigrants coming over the border EVERY DAY without proper vetting. Instead they're putting them up in 5 star hotels, and told they can vote, and have jobs, and they DO. meanwhile there's such an absurdly LONG list of people trying to migrate LEGALLY to the US who are often denied, rejected, or told they are millions of people ahead of them...... but they reward the illegal immigrants and give them jobs, free homes, and the ability to vote... for all we know they've allowed entire terrorist cells to come right on in, as well as enemy soldiers from China, Russia, Middle East, and a TON of hard CRIMINALS, certified CONVICTS. Another problem is prison where I saw a congressional hearing about a female-warden that allowed a 6'2 200lb+ grown MAN who was going to prison on serious charges regarding deadly assault, s*xual battery and assault and abuse, and since they 'identified as a woman' while still having twig'n'berries, this female "woke" JUDGE allowed that serial r*pist to go a WOMAN'S PRISON with his hangdown... guess what he did when he got there.

People with body dysmorphia IN OTHER COUNTRIES will TALK to these teens and pre-teens and tell them to WAIT until after they finish puberty and school and sometimes college, giving them time for their brain to fully finish developing. Majority of them NEVER proceed with the surgeries they claimed it to happen... instead they're talked to, counseled, talked to like adults, treated with respect, and a small % of them will of course come out as liking the same gender but they do not go beyond that. Meanwhile in US, all it takes is a 15-16 year old to go to a doctor and get irreversible hormone shots to begin their transition... and later if its a man who wants to be a woman, they just create a wound downstairs that is TRYING SOHARD TO HEAL so they have to return to that doctor to re-cut/widen the open wound that does NOTget "wet" or "turned on" nor is it anywhere close to womanhood.. America, in terms of Religion, and if the Old Testament God is genuine, its only a matter of time- coming soon- that the Creator will DESTROY these people for such immense sinning going on; especially in hollyweird with their structure of having to groom child stars and established stars who have to continually perform same-sex acts if they want to continue their status.. or get higher in the industry andits even WORSE in the music industry and these secrets are slowly being brought to light in court cases..... but people in Cali are sayig the whole time, "oh yeah we know and have known," same with body guard of A-list actors/ music artists coming out stating they have done some out of pocket things.... Abominable things. And if you pay attention, these groups ONLY EVER ATTACK CHRIST AND CHRISTIANITY and NO OTHER RELIGION - ask yourself WHY THAT MIGHt be. seriously.

Had a similar experience. Me and my sister went to see Inglorious Basterds and we were howling with laughter, others around us just didn't, just reacted normally, but we just didn't care. We didn't have a smoke before that one i think though. I love this story xD

I live in a dry town. Nearest town still doesn't have liquor on Sundays and there was no wine in grocery stores where I grew up. So anyway, back then finding a movie theater that served beer felt like I was in a different country. That's where I saw Fight Club for the first time. It felt like the movie was made specifically for me and I forgot I wasn't alone in the theater. This clip made it even more special to me based on what they said, especially Fincher saying it wasn't made for the others. I've ALWAYS felt that way. This movie wasn't meant to be watched by anyone even approaching "normal". To all the forever 30 year old boys out there: May you space monkeys never stop tonguing that cut on the roof of your mouths. If I ever have a tumor I will call it Marla.

Stravinsky's Rite of Spring got about the same reception at its premier. And probably even worse, because many walked out. Not saying Fight Club is on a par with RoS, but it's a pretty damned good movie which will probably endure as a classic for many years to come and was largely misunderstood for quite some time after it was released.
