I can only imagine how this makes people in their 50s feel when they here you play it so beautifully... Music is like a time travel device that pauses the time you are in and takes you back to a place in time and your memories that you can still feel in this very moment decades later... Its incredible.

I know you want to be interactive with your audience, but at this point if you ask the audience what song they want to hear it's almost guaranteed someone will yell Purple Rain (either seriously or as a joke). To avoid that, either be more specific (for instance ask them what original Dovydas song they want to hear) or less specific (ask them what genre). Another possibility is to tell them you're going to improvise something and ask them for a theme.

Prince was notorious for not liking to hear someone cover his songs. Professional musicians would get the Purple stare and facial expressions of his dislike if he was in the audience. Didn't matter who it was he hardly ever smiled or clapped. He was like that about his music. Certainly he would like your version and performance skills I did.

@@ericmw9340 Just found out their is a copyright Music list that ALL RU-vid Music Creators have access too. Sadly Purple rain for whatever reason is NOT on that list so good old DOVY will keep playing this crap until the end of time.
