Talk Medicine, Dr Jason Weisstein, Oncology, When Cancer Spreads to Bones, Cancer can spread into bones - developing into metastatic bone disease which can lead to pain, weakened bones, and fractures in some patients.
I have metastatic prostate cancer. This disease has spread to my bones. I was diagnosed three and a half years ago,and I'm slowly wasting away . The cancer has spread throughout my body ,but is the worst in my hips and left leg. They had to put a metal rod in my left thigh so the bone wouldn't break. I walk with a cane, and every step is a new experience in pain. I try to stay active but it's difficult. I don't know why I'm typing this except to say keep yourself healthy. If you feel pain go to your Dr.. Early diagnosis is very important if you want any kind of a life.

Did your pain start after radiation? I noticed that my pain started during my radiation. I’ve had xrays but they found nothing. However my arm feels like it will break. I’m in pain in my shoulder and neck. I hope I don’t have to wait until something shows up to put a stop to this madness. Please help.
I can feel it in my jawbone snaking down my throat. I am trying to determine the best course of action. I had my first round of cancer years ago with no treatment so it keeps coming back. Asbestos made it out of control.
I will be putting a picture up of what just came out of my mouth...I have been dancing with cancer all my life. Seems the dance is nearly over...hard to believe when this picture was taken the dance had just begun.
