This style of Cho'gath reminds me of a gameplay guide I saw a long time ago for "The MF'ing Cho'Gath", which has basically defined my style of Cho play since I read it. In a nutshell, the whole guide is basically "Become as tanky and impossible to kill as you can, force the whole team to 1v5 you and eat their carry while they're doing it, and let your team clean up the mess if and when you die because the MF'ing Cho'Gath wins games through sheer bedwetting fear and forcing misplays."

That nidalee at the beginning absolutely respected you by not hitting you, she just said hi, healed zed, left and thats it. She could have auto, but this meant WAR. She decided for Peace at that moment

My Cho'Gath record was 16K+ HP when Cinderhulk mid Cho was a thing. It was hilarious watching the enemy try to damage me with that much HP.

I love how Senna and Jhin barely got first turret 25 minutes into the game when Zwag died vs 3 people near the mid inhib... but tbh I learnt so much more about league not by playing but by watching. If I were the supp I would stick my ass to tanky af Cho to help him with cc while Jhin would get sweet solo exp by side laning and getting solo turret gold since Teemo would be forced to mid. After all Zwag one shotted Nidale while tanking the turret... with a bit of peel it would force 2v5 to stop the Cho onslaught.

I recomend something along the lines of "... but i negate everything" buying thornmail for heal reduction, serpents fang for shield reduction and silvermere dawn to negate enemy cc. Thornmail applies shield reaver from fang. Then getting swiftness boots for slow reduction and playing something like udyr or olaf to ignore cc even harder. Can throw zhonya's to ignore everything for several seconds then GA to ignore even death.

for mr items, wits end is great on champions like chogath or tahm kench. theyre really beefy champs that want resistances, but they also auto attack a lot. with chogath his e animation is painfully slow but with the 50% attack speed from wits it feels a lot smoother. and you get movement speed when you auto attack someone, so it helps you stick. i find it always a shame that people dont build that item on these champions. its the same for tahm kench. if you get 3 stacks on an enemy, and then q for the stun, youre gonna have at least 2 stacks on them when they come out of the stun already with the wits attack speed.

Of course you wouldn’t complain about not catching people, they had a grand total of one hard cc on their entire team lol

This is how it should be when Cho'gath vs Zed, the old season items and Zed were disgusting... I still remember like yesterday when all for one Zed destroy Cho'gath with his crazy armor pen and damage. At least nowaday Zed still need more than 1 combo to kill a Cho'gath with 11k hp...

its easier to kite you when you're larger because they need less AA range to hit you and your hitbox is larger but your ability range is the same
