omg yes other then Lois, she would have been great for him i believe and her death in that episode wow that i agree, it broke my heart for clark for a couple of episode afterwards.
@A GIANTS podcast So GiANT You won’t want to miss it I honestly hadn’t heard that, I’m not a big fan of the new Batman franchise but not that I know she’s part of the cast I will have to reevaluate
This was such a refreshing break from Lana and Lois (not that I don't love them I love them both) but Alicia was so cute and I really wanted this relationship to end well or last slightly longer than it did!
Uh yes! Think about it, he didn't have to hide things from her, that's my whole point. He had special abilities just like she did, and if they would have stayed with it a little longer things might have been different.
@@sam432ful Her character is literally, that of a killer. I just don't like her looks. Comapred with Durance her beauty is forgettable... like one among many. Heck, even Welling's fiancee looks somewhat like Alicia... and she's not even an actress to begin with. Maybe she can be cast as one of the vampires in Teen Wolf... but not enough charm to be a lead like Lois Lane, which Durance did justice... because she was hot and smart and didn't look like a blonde bimbo who could play the hooker in any show.
He did when she had help, hell she drugged him and married him against his will and he STILL chose to try make it work. I genuinely think that she was the stand in for Superman's other super-powered love interests like Wonder Woman to explore Clark in a more equal relationship.
Clark and Alicia looked really good together. They had really good chemistry. It was very sad how their relationship ended. Wish it could have gone on awhile longer, and ended better.
After she was cured she wasn't just the best for Clark, she was perfect for him. She understood him better than he did himself. The only way to separate Clark from her was by killing her character. Her death was by far the hardest to hand :'-(
This was my favorite relationship Clark Kent had that wasn't Lana or Lois. Yes, she turned out to be this obsessive, clingy, crazy, girl but in the end she got better. And people who want to try to be a better person deserve much more. Its really tragic how she died in the show, and she wasn't even guilty of anything this time. It was just so sad. Alicia and Clark were really close since they both knew how different it is to be in a judgmental world. It was my favorite relationship Clark had with another person who wasn't in I guess you can say the "Lang" zone.
@@epichighslowsofhighschoolf3074 Then you didn't watch the episodes. Alicia and Clark were together because they understood one another and Alicia trusted Clark with everything she had. Sure lust was involved, but it wasn't the only or main thing. Clark could be open with Alicia where he couldn't with the others.
The writers and their hard on for Lana/Kristin (or however you spell it idgaf) killed this ship and I'll never forgive them for it. Literally the perfect girl for Clark and they made her crazy because all the fans loved her and she was fast becoming everyone's favorite girl.
Which is exactly why they killed her. Since they could not get Lois and Clark together at that time, they could have had Alicia and Clark together for a few seasons before they moved on to the Lois and Clark relationship.
Unpopular opinion but I always thought Alicia was a great love interest, she was red flags in the beginning but when she redeemed herself later on, I thought they would've had a really healthy relationship. Was absolutely gutted when they killed her off, would've loved to see them pursue more of a relationship before that happened.
That's not really an "unpopular" opinion. Alicia was very popular with fans which is why they brought her back. There are many of us that believe she was Clark's true soulmate, much more than Lana or Lois
I was genuinely surprised in the later season when it was revealed Lionel knew all along about a traveler, that we weren't shown that he was responsible for this sudden elevator break
I’m sure that was the intention but they probably didn’t because just too much already going on in this episode to have time to add that in too. So instead the audience is just left to assume Lionel probably did it as a test for Clark.
Oh, this was The Chapter, I remember my father saw it first and since he liked it so much, he gave me a soo specific summary, he actually told me the whole episode, from this point Alicia became our favorite female smallville character
Really wished they stayed together and she wasn't killed. She knew Clarks good and his bad and he knew both of hers, lets just imagine what that would have been like.
FOcusMedia96 forreal tho, they couldve been not only a great endgame couple for this show, but they couldve been a SUPER couple, it wouldve been so nice
She was lovely but this obsessive kind of love turn's out bad for all, it was instant attraction sexually charged chemistry between the 2 , and I don't think Alicia would have coped with Clark having to go off and save the world all the time, like Lana it would have been hard to compete with.. But I did like her and I think they did her wrong to by killing her off, why couldn't she have moved on but then he wouldn't have been moved to be so intent on saving those in need even if no one cared Clark did and I do believe it was because of how she was treated and made an outcast by everyone. So to me she was an important part of developing his character for the greater good. Even Lois could see that for him she was very important, one thing I will say about Lois and Erica who played her she never ever wanted Lois to be over the top jealous or possessive of him,she never wanted to play her that way.
@@josiebharat5929 Yeah she was best girl butnher impulse control is weak and her recklessness bleeds out on Clark as well. It was an unhealthy relationship that if prolonged would've had some terrible consequences.
that's really funny! Does anyone notice this, both of them said "What did u just do?" after they saw the rest one used super power :D I just realised this although I ve seen this sence for several times
She was his best girl in my opinion... She loved him and he loved her, no secrets.... It was really tough watching him break up with her... The only time they ever felt alive is with each other....
When Clark was under Red Kryptonite in season 6, due to Lois, he dumped her and went after Lana (even though she was engaged to Lex). Then we all know how they were separated due to Lana absorbing the Greek K. But when Clark was under Red Kryptonite with Alicia, he didn't go for Lana, he asked Alicia to literally marry him...After she was cured, Alicia was the true girl for Clark.
Clark was destined to end up with Louis anyway, they should have kept Alicia for more episodes. Kristen left the show the second she got a better offer anyway (Chun Lee Movie).
This is the one girl I thought Clark really belong to Alicia Baker aka Sarah Carter is so gorgeous sad that she died in smallville she was better than that lamo Lana lol
I adore Sarah carter as Alicia🥺💕 and she was perfect for Clark💔 unlike Lana and Chloe’s on to bringing about on to his subjects, is super shy and just similar as he is💕only down part jeopardizing privacy by jumping in immediately as bf gf material too quick ruin chances🤦🏻 ugh without getting to know more about each other in a patient balance before going to the next level😔 sometimes wish the writers didn’t make Alicia to as an antagonist too.. way too sweet in this episode😑 ending in a relationship in villain just not fair💔 😞
I think you should change the video title to Clark & Alicia's First Scene Together or something of the sort since Clark & Alicia definitely knew each other from school and had met before offscreen as you could hear Alicia knowing his name.
Lionel without a doubt had some henchmen set that elevator up to fail like that. There's no way he didn't know Clark's class was going to be visiting Luthorcorp and it was his perfect chance to test Clark. Probably had one of those elevator operators fill up the unsabotaged elevator with the others from the class while Clark would be left taking the sabotaged one. There's no way an elevator in Luthorcorp would out of nowhere fail like that exactly on the day Clark was visiting when Lionel was dying of his rare liver disease and was rabid to get any info on Clark that he could.
