When Cocky Fighters Got Destroyed and Humbled by Mike Tyson
As the saying goes, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.” Mike Tyson is considered one of the most dangerous boxers of all time during his prime. The former undisputed world heavyweight champion dominated the ring for several years.
However, despite his fearsome reputation, some of his opponents didn’t consider him a threat before they got into the ring with him. Unfortunately, most of them learned the hard way and got destroyed by Mike Tyson.
In this video, we’ve compiled some of the best moments in Mike Tyson’s career when his cocky opponents got destroyed and humbled by the great “Iron Mike”.

Tyson was built like a fire hydrant but you can see majority of his opponents were bigger, heavier, taller and longer reach but with his quickness and power from both sides he just took it to everybody, you can see it in his eyes, even when he misses that he is constantly tracking for his next ko punch like he had internal radar, regardless of what was coming at him, he was always tracking, his eyes were always locked on target and you see his body follow through at will... so fortunate we got to experience this monster in his prime.

you're idolizing a coked-up cheater, He was on drugs the whole time. That's cool on the battlefield where chaotic randomness happens. But in a controlled championship environment? the guy is a cheater plain and simple. That's like advocating for steroid use in bodybuilding, it doesn't really speak much to its own merit, does it ?

He was brutal. But that brutally and explosiveness came from his youth and upbringing. Unresolved anger and mental health issues can look just like this. It took him a long time to figure all that out. I'm glad he finally did, because if he did continue down that road it could have ended him altogether. But seeing him finally come into a better place in his life made all the difference for him. Good for him!

I was blessed to be a young man during this unreal era of sports that gave us so many of the "best" legends in sports: Mike Tyson, the subject here, unbelievably good and probably the best ever. NBA: Michael Jordan is the GOAT but we had Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and the rest of the "Dream Team." Football legends like Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Joe Montana, John Elway, Steve Largent, Jerry Rice, etc. Hockey gave us Gretzky and the rest. Point is the 80s-90s was undeniably the most exciting and best era of sports. Tyson was so darn good and fun to watch dominate...
