When Collage Meets Collage...finding magic with The Voyager Tarot

So today I share some tarot magic. Firstly a Flip-through of The VoyagerTarot and a sharing of the room of new dreams (originally inspired by Renee’s video here. • Flow with the Tower an... )
I talk about a vital step in self-healing I missed and how this deck has become such a useful tool in addressing this and I also share my room of new dreams spread (see below or on my Instagram here www.instagram.... )
Then for some magic..... as i used this another collage deck I rarely used called out to be paired. I gave it a go completely expecting it to be a miss.... but instead my socks got blown off! So I just had to share the magic of collage meeting collage and I hope you enjoy it.

I’m so intrigued by this deck after hearing your enthusiasm for it. I actually realized that I’ve never seen any of the minors from this deck. And I’m loving them! They’re less packed with elements than the majors and really are evoking some emotions for me, even over RU-vid. Thanks for sharing your love of this deck!

I picked this deck up this year as well... finally! It was the deck used the very first time I ever had a Tarot reading - a reading that had a massive impact on my life... from a dear friend who later passed away, shockingly at 30 years old. I bought it for sentimental reasons and filmed my walkthrough (which I haven't posted yet) but haven't worked with it yet. I'm so intrigued hearing your thoughts..... I do think this would be an excellent deck for unlocking and working with intuition!

Oh, for synchronization! I've been working with this deck as well! I love it! I didn't think I would like it but after listening to Regina S. talk on it, I fell for it. 🥰 I like James' psychological influences he included in the deck meanings! AND, those backs.. (DNA). I'm here for all this magic! 🙌

Loved this, I love this deck, the only reading I’ve ever had was done was with this deck, the reader said she has studied with James for years. I have three of these decks, I’m going to trim one and use it like an oracle someday. Loved the pairing with the Muse tarot, I went and put that on my wish list. TFS

I cut the borders off my Voyager deck and just read it intuitively now, it really makes the images pop.

The Voyager Tarot is one of the first decks I bought for myself over 20 years ago. Collage interests (read as thrills) me and I enjoy making collages myself. The pairing with The Muse Tarot is brilliant. Thanks for this video and sharing your excitement of discovering this deck. ✈️💖💜

So happy for you that you are loving the Voyager Tarot, Candy! It is a very special deck to me. I also feel it is one of those best kept secrets in the tarot world, a late bloomer perhaps. I’m curious, as a collage artist myself, as to why you don’t like collage decks? Don’t you also do some collage work? People seem to either love or despise collage decks. Interesting pairing with The Muse Tarot. That might just get me to finally take the plunge on that one this summer. Keep us posted on how your work with the Voyager unfolds. 💗🕊🍥🕸🦢🌸🪶🎨

I do do collage and I adore collage artists and mixed media. I’m not sure why I convinced myself I didn’t like them. I think when I first brought the muse it was only my second deck and I was so excited to use it but then Disappointed I didn’t connect. So I looked at other decks and saw the moon child and decks like that ..... and I saw people saying oo I don’t do collage decks and I wondered if that was me too. So I started looking at painted decks like the mary el and just felt really pulled to them and in my head I just thought .... I don’t do collage decks. I put the muse to the back of the shelf . I don’t think in my newbie excitement and acquisition non stop of 2020 I ever really gave anything enough time or stopped to think what each deck brought to me. 2021 is a much more exciting time of discovery and the door is now wide open on collage in decks 💜💜

Candy Soul and Soil WoW, so The Muse was your 2nd deck! I can see how it would be hard to connect with then. Thanks for sharing your whole path/thought process with collage decks. It’s such a fascinating unfolding how we each come to and grow into tarot and oracle cards. And how our tastes for different styles of decks develop. For me it has been a gradual process over almost 30 yrs now. And then the pandemic hit just as I was discovering the Tarot Tube community. Like you, I dove into deck buying. Mine was part anxiety medication and part finally have the time to focus on just this one passion while the world got quiet. Now it’s time to take deeper dives with some of my amazing decks. Besides collage and pagan/celtic themed I’m drawn more to decks that are their own unique system. So it takes me more time and focus to explore each one. 🌿
