And he does it while the perp is on the ground writhing and screaming. I know that I shouldn't have laughed, but I'm already going to hell for other things.
I've worked with law enforcement and it's hilarious to be talking to the cops on the phone and hear the perp in the background going on about "what'd I do?" even after the cop has already told them multiple times. LOL. Playing stupid isn't going to do them much good.
dogs wagging their tails don't always mean happiness, it can also mean aggression or just general excitement in the dogs, etc, but its fun to think they are having fun while catching criminals
@@dawnreneegmail he didnt get any warnings at all did we watch the same video he opened the curtain and clearly saw the guy but he acted like he didnt where was the warning yall folks just happy to see a young black man getting mauled when we all kno he would’ve cooperated if the cop told him to get his ass up and just cuff him smh yall sad asf tbh
I know I shouldn't laugh but the fact that a couple of these officers let the dog get a few nibbles in before calling them off is hilarious !!! I worked with a girl whose brother was a K9 officer and he said people really think that the dog doesn't bite THAT hard, they do. She showed us pics of K9 training and occasionally even the TO's get nipped. Imagine just your regular house dog guarding you but then ramp that up with some really kick ass training, these dogs are definitely a weapon, love it.
Those K-9’s are not called back to their handlers on purpose. They are specifically trained to subdue a perp physically, then get a reward. If you call the dog out, they lose their drive to function properly. My daughter is a K-9 LEO on night watch. She works alone with her dog. Your dog will lose the will to engage if they are not properly released. If retrieval is difficult then you have a good sound dog. There are no worthless dogs, only worthless handlers. 😮
dogs are not weapons, thy are partners, even officers say this repeatedly, and I study cop work a lot, calling a dog a 'weapon' Is just like calling an enslaved person an item. Please be wiser on your wording, but yes, these k9 handlers are quite amazing.
This video brought back some wonderful memories of our shepherd that had completed K-9 training but due to circumstances she wasn't able to be on patrol. This was many years ago and at that time they offered the shepherd to my husband, which was an officer. She was the most amazing dog I have ever owned. She protected us 24-7. She was worth her weight in gold. These dogs are amazing and an asset to every department.
Yep, had that happen to a good buddy of mine. She completed training, but just not high enough scoring. He ended up with her and she was CRAZY about guarding him and his dad.
I knew someone, years ago, who used to be the 'running away criminal' for the training unit, fully kitted out of course with protective clothing. Even so he said its quite terrifying, he'd run off, then hear the dog running, fast, then a brief ominous silence as the dog flew through the air ... then BAM!! Dog locked on arm and going nowhere until instructed! He said there is no way you could fight off the dog!!
Someone broke into my house one night and after calling 911 the cops showed up with one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen. It was huge, black and long haired. Very sweet to me but definitely intimidating to look at! After searching the house it came over and just stood by me, I couldn’t help petting it but then stopped and asked if I should. The cops said go ahead and I believe they thought it weird the dog was acting that way. I was upset and the beautiful dog calmed me. An officer and a gentleman ❤️
Must of been a long haired Shepard they had, and the good baby knew you needed him the most, its awesome they let you pet him to help comfort you in your time of need, they normally tell you not to cause of training. Dogs always know when you need them most and he knew big time you needed him.
@@LindaMedley-ym1qc this happened 20 years ago in Spokane, WA. I doubt it is the same dog but dogs are so incredible no matter where or when am I right? ✌️❤️
@@denisestinnett4414 yeah I'm glad you are doing okay no it couldn't be mattis black shepards are so beautiful ❤️ I have a black and brown one and he has a lot of hair 😂
A couple of the K9s our department had were very much like that in temperament. They loved to see us volunteer patrol people come into work, too. More than once I was almost bowled over by an exuberant K9 happy to see us and demanding some attention until their partner recalled them. Many times the dogs take their cues from their partners. They’re very smart and very intuitive. If their human partners are agitated, they’ll be on edge. If their human is happy, they’ll be relaxed and happy. I’m sure that big beauty was definitely picking up on your emotional state. His human had calmed down, but you were upset
yeah but if he would of glassed the dog the cops would of been crying, they knew he wasn't going anywhere they did that just to show some power, same with the dude in the hallway the dude had his hands raised so they was zero reason to let the dog keep biting. I really don't see the difference between a cop beating someone while they're handcuffed or a dog biting someone who's given up. Yeah I get they're criminal scum but there is plenty of times innocent people have been bit including other officers, thankfully I don't break the law and know that the power they have over our lives is way above what my life is worth so I won't ever have to worry about being in the situation.
@@whatintheheck4692 That's not why...he is supposed to inform the cop that he has one in there. He had his hands up. Then the cop let his dog eat him. I would have sued his ass.
The cop literally throwing his dog at the guy in the bath tub after pretending not to see him when he ripped the shower curtain open xD I never laughed so hard lmaooooo
@@FMOI_nola_baby_judude the guy was resisting arrest, the cop even told him to get out, the k9s don’t let go until they are cuffed ( so the suspect doesn’t escape or have time to get a weapon) I understand you’re concern but please do research
Talk to the GOP who want to ensure that government -- they call it 'big government' -- dies on the vine from lack of funding, and above all, NO NEW TAXES! Stupid SOB;s.
@@BaldCoryxKenshinfan its pretty common when dealing with an armed suspect to say they are going to kill you if you pull a gun on them... which is true they will. you don't have to do something bad to be put down when you are armed or assumed armed and dangerous
@dashm33 That situation was the only one where the cops were fucked up. If he was running or had a warrant for violent offenses sure, but the guy said he was coming out of the car like 10 times and they still threw the dog in there for way longer than necessary
If you play the video in slow speed, you can clearly see that the guy had his hands in the air and was surrounding. If it's still funny, I hope that you'll have such fun too.
These dogs love their jobs way too much haha. I bet when they all gather in their cages after work they be talking shii like "Ouuu Fred, I heard you bit one in the ass", and Fred be like "haha, yeah, thats what he got for being a pain in the ass." and all the dogs would laugh "good one, fred! Good one."
You are amazing. These K-9 pooches are the BEST. Some times I fear for them when these criminals end up hurting them. PLEASE be SAFE out there. Sending you lots of Angels and Blessings your way! Lots Pooches Angels as well! Thank you for your service!
I got bit by a retired police K9 when I was like 7. My Mom was calling from across the street for me to come home to go to my t-ball game. I ran through my friends yard and started climbing their fence. Well, this triggered something in the dog and he yanked me down by the shoulder. Had a bunch of punctures and blood. Tried to hide it form my Mom but she saw the blood soak through. I never held it against the dog and didn't want something to happen to him. He let me go pretty quick and stopped. I was scared of dogs for a long time after that though.
Does anyone else snicker and laugh when a suspect/criminal is all disobedient until the OH SHIT moment and THEN its, "I'm Sorry Sir. I'm Sorry!" Too late.
These dogs get criminals on the ground and screaming uncle so fast it makes your head spin - The love and respect these officers have for their dogs must be off the charts.
The dog at 7:58 definitely needs more training, but it was hilarious how the officer found him, and said nothing, because he wanted him to get bit by the dog😂
I would just like to say that dog bites hurt! I was bit by a small terrier years ago after the dog had been attacked by a larger dog. It was injured and I tried to pick it up. The terrier bit me on the finger and man did it hurt. Years later I was bit by a Dalmatian that nipped me on my leg because it thought it's owner was in danger by my presence. Both times it hurt bad. The bite of a mature, trained German Shepherd has got to be agonizingly painful. Take warning, bad boys. You do NOT want to be bit by a K-9 officer.
I was bit by a Dalmatian when I was little too, the owner said he was nice and that I could pet him but I got so excited it must’ve made him nervous and he bit me in the lip I was so scared I climbed in our car and there was so much blood but luckily there’s no scar or anything. Nothing happened to him though because my grandparents didn’t tell anyone, I’m glad they didn’t looking back
@@brittanygray700 Yeah, injuries to the face or head bleed more heavily than anywhere else even with smaller injuries. It was different times, wasn't it? People didn't sue everybody else like today or go online and complain about them and get them in trouble, did they?.
😂The part with the guy in the bath tub...😮. That officer must have had his head turned when HE searched the bathroom. Even I saw the guy hiding there.😅
I was gonna write the same! I really hate seeing anyone get hurt. If someone falls I don't find it funny (except if it's me!) but I was laughing my head off at these arrogant baddies turning into squealing quivering wimps when the dog get them! The guy they found in the bath is tough though. He doesn't cry out in pain at all despite having no clothes protecting him from the bight!
0:16 It amazes me how much faster dogs run than humans can. The Officer is running as fast as he can, but as soon as he gives the command - the K-9 Officer is just a blur as he speeds on ahead!
Holy shit I was watching the one with the guy in the truck and they're yelling "you're gonna get bit!" And I'm like wait are they gonna- AND THEY JUST SHOVE THE DOG IN THERE I screamed! Shoulda got out!
At the 8:02 min mark the cop does see the suspect in the tub and walks toward the dog in the other room to guide it back to the bathroom. The dog take a whole 30 secs before he actually see suspect. Why would the cop do that?
The dog is always in training and the only way to reinforce the dog’s track and bite skills is to get it on the bite, so it’s important the dog finds the guy even if the cop has to prompt a little. Could be a young inexperienced dog. They’ve all got to start somewhere.
The officer wanted the dog to get a bite. I've been a cop for 12 years, and a K-9 handler for the last 5. That was a completely unjustified bite, and will easily get that suspect a lot of money from the agency. Whenever you are engaged in any apprehension activity, you are required to factor in the circumstances of the encounter and the risk of the suspect (Graham v. Connor). The bite would have been justified had they: made loud clear announcements stating what they wanted the suspect to do (surrender, announce themselves, etc.), what they were planning on doing (releasing a K-9 to search the building), and what would happen if the suspect did not comply (get bit). If I recall from the full video of this, they gave the warnings. However, the circumstances change when you enter the building alongside the K-9. The officer observed the suspect and failed to give him any commands or opportunity to surrender, which is required. This alone nullifies the announcements that were made at the entrance to the building. Its one of the reasons that all of the K-9 certifications (NNDDA, UPWDA, NPWDA, etc.) require the dog to be able to recall on command from being sent after someone, without biting them. It simulates a surrendering suspect where the dynamic has changed (think a suspect armed with a knife, who, after the dog is deployed, drops the knife and surrenders). Another acceptable training method is the "Revere," in which a dog is sent to apprehend someone, but upon the decoy surrendering, the dog automatically disengages and barks while standing at the feet of the suspect (that one's harder to train). Whether or not the K-9 handler knew of the other officer's discovery may not be known, and may alleviate any liability on his part. The officer who spotted the suspect failed to follow basic use of force guidelines, violated the suspect's rights, and should be fired. The excuse that the officer thought the suspect may have been a threat is ridiculous. If he was concerned about that, he wouldn't have turned his back on the suspect and walked out of the room, much less without saying anything to the other officer.
@@mavericksagara yoo thank you so much for taking the time to explain this not only did you answer all the questions i had about that cop sending the dog in after he already saw him but I actually learned a thing or two mayor love ❤
The guy hiding in the bathtub... WTF... the officer literally shined his flashlight directly on him.. more than once..& walked out of the room... then when they came back in... you could still see him... the K9 & officer are both lucky he wasn't armed...total fail by officer & K9
I love the guys with their K9 partners. Good boys, yes they are. The sweet voice of the policeman makes the dog's day and the bond stronger. If i was running from the police and heard someone say dog, i would immediately hit the ground. Great job.
Generational trauma, drugs, abuse, mental health issues, bad influences, poverty, just really bad decision making skills, lack of education, all of the above, take your pick.
The cop kept the dog on suspects far too long. In one case he saw the guy in the shower left the bathroom and let his dog have him. Imho Much love from Utah ❤!
You don't know if they were told he was armed sounds like they talked about someone murdering someone I think it was for their safety as they guy didn't think he was noticed it seems.
@@Storm_Chaser325 If the cop thought the guy was armed he wouldn't have turned his back on him. He just wanted the dog to have a go, probably to teach the guy a lesson, or maybe to give the dog some training (doggo responded very slow, so maybe it was one of his first real interventions). I don't feel sorry for the guy at all, but this one was quite unnecessary and would have been very dangerous if he was actually armed...
