I'm a retired cop. A citizen haled me at 2 am on the street and I owe him to this day. Citizens have to make that difficult decision, do I or don't I when cops need help. We are so thankful to all you good guys who stop and help us. You guys are the best! If you see a cop who looks like he/she needs help, jump in, please. Thank you
Unfortunately, citizens don’t enjoy qualified immunity and in a lot of cases will be charged with a felony for something as stupid as a miss pronoun. Sorry fella but you signed up for that job, not us
yeah, so they ended up like that civilian that killed the cop killer, saved the life of a second cop, and then the other cops arrived and murdered him within seconds... no ty, have your brothers in blue save you
First guy: Drags cop out of harms way using ONE hand while filming with the other. He dragged an adult male, in full cop gear out of harms one, with one hand. Remind me not to argue with that guy!
Fun fact, the first guy that dragged the HPD officer out of live fire was a multi-convited felon who finally was turning his life around. Remember, its not about who they are. Its about what they do.
13:00 that's the reason why every police car in Germany is manned by two officers, doesn't matter if it's two men, two women or one man and one woman. It's saver for police that way
The problem with that in America is that we don't have enough officers to cover the areas needed. Because of the whole BLM movement, tons of police forces across the US had cut funding (with some outright being taken away entirely), and people are just now realizing that this is a problem.
Remember folks: your duty as a citizen is to help a fellow citizen or EMS in need, doesnt mean you should purposely get into mortal danger but it also means you shouldnt just standby idle and watch if you are in a position to help
I'll gladly help an EMS but many cops don't deserve any help from a citizen with how often you can see videos of them harrasing people and violating their constitution
@@l8nghtsother channels can still maliciously pursue copyright claims if their trademarked watermark is included in content that might otherwise claim fair-use
@@dfiala9890 Blurring them doesn't stop that though, so that argument doesn't work. Blurring the watermarks only serves to hide who actually owns the clip. It's straight up theft.
At 13:14 The amount of men and women. That came to help this female officer in distress. Brought a tear to my eye. To see the American people standing up for an officer in need
As my brother and I are former army infantry we had to help a few officers in need who way out gunned. We lived two houses down from where two cops chased three guys who ran into a random house and using them as shields. We saw them shooting at them from high ground. We grabbed our gear and rifles. We snuck out the back of our house and made our way to the cops. We yelled to one of them. He looked to his left saw us kitted out. Brother flashed friend with a flashlight. Snuck around the house came through an open window. Two up and one down. Im the smaller one i went up. Shot the right knees and shoulders, they dropped. Kicked the guns away. My brother hit the left shoulder and tackled the other guy with his rifle and slammed him down. He yelled clear. And i flashed clear with flashlight. It all happened with in 10 min of them breaking into the house. The two cops were grateful for The help. One was a former marine. But the higher ups in the police department were not happy with us. Look i may get older but that training never goes away.
@@arimunic maybe. But this was 15 years ago. We just did what we had to do. We didn’t care about the media stuff. To my surprise actually was the former marine understanding what the flashes meant. It was just training and not knowing if he understood it or not. It was like 6 months ish after leaving the army. I think the media probably would have over exaggerated the whole thing anyway. In the end, I’m glad we could help them.
Could it be that the higher ups didn’t want to recognize the fact their own officers were outgunned and outnumbered? I’ve bore witness to such situations and gladly assisted with my weapon drawn. Granted, in my city we don’t have nearly enough cops to cover us. So us law abiding citizens are kind of on our own. Not even joking about that. Less than 2,000 officers for more than 7 million citizens. I think our chief of police understands that that isn’t enough because they thank citizens when we jump in help safely.
@@mcrchickenluvr Depends on who is on top, some are more worried with beurocracy than results. Problem with having citizens involved, even trained ones, is that it can potentially create a beurocratic nightmare if things go wrong. Citizens wouldn't be so understanding either: "Oh, why did you allow them to intervene? Why wasn't the police ready? Why didn't someone stop them from getting hurt?"
If a public official can get an award for courageous efforts going above and beyond to help some one than a citizen should be awarded by the same district for the same actions. If a cop can get an award for exceptional bravery in an attack then a citizen is even more so deserving because it’s a cops job it’s not ours.
I always hope that when an officer walks away from a stop like this is that they have more of an appreciation for citizens and have more respect for them also.
The first dude was late. Boss was pissed and was about to fire him, but said you better have one hell of a good reason. Dude said I'll do one better check out this video
She should have followed through with that threat to tase him, also she's in the wrong line of work to think she would always be treated with the respect women normally get
Well done to all of the brave people who helped for no other reason other than wanting to help another human being. I hope that the heroes were as decorated as the police officers. I'm Irish living in Ireland. I am astonished by the amount of people who have guns. I wouldn't arm them with a pen. It's ludicrous that in these days that the more powerful guns are available to any lunatic. I am very happy that no one was injured enough to have tragic endings. Thank God.
Though I'll certainly agree with the first half, in a lot of instances with these criminals, it is usually a good guy with a gun that stops it, and it's not always the police. Just as the constitution says, the 2nd amendment is important as it's the citizens with the firearms that will rise up when the government gets too oppressive and infringes on us and our rights (God forbid it comes to that) I used to be in the same boat, but the banning of guns will ruin the very ideals this country was founded on, the freedom of the people.
100% agree with this. A few times I've been invited on a vacation somewhere and my answer is the same: "I only travel places I can carry I gun". One had saved my life on numerous occasions. Its not just speculation on my part. Won't go anywhere that violates that right and tells me they own me and I'm not allowed to provide for my defense.
Guy I know, like the first guy having run ins with law enforcement in his younger days, came upon a female cop fighting with a suspect. She was obviously getting overpowered. He stopped and helped her get him into custody. He now owns a tow company and works with police on a daily basis.
Unbelievable how many cars stopped when the female officer was attacked but not one of them got out to help Most likely getting their phones out to record Thank you to the gentleman that actually helped her
yes. now they even censor Only fans in videos. The word _Only_ in only fans not the content 😂 you will also see "uploaders" censor (again the words)blood, gun, gunfire, rape, murder, killed, dead, etc.
@@JustAHarmlessSoph it doesn't. There a hundreds of not thousands of youtube videos with gunshots. Many of them bodycam videos that have been here for years.
I don't get our justice system for many reasons, but for starters, what judge allows bond for a man who shot 2 officers in the head?! That's just nuts.
For anyone who doesnt want censored videos. Police academy (the old man with a shotgun video) is a good channel for not sensoring every bit. They show raw footage most of the time unless its too gruesome
After an officer asked me for help I helped an officer push a stalled car out of an intersection we said our phrases he thanked me and i moved on he was cool i like having him as one of our officers Edit: im from Florida I understand what law enforcement goes through trust me
Birdshot not lethal ? Tell that to the birds ! Yes birdshot is lethal! At close range very lethal! Moreover, close enough and you got a softball size hole in the forehead! Maybe even worse! Watermelon test is in order here lol….
"Get out! Do not move!" _"Well which one is it, sonny? You want me to freeze or do you want me to lay on the floor? Cause if I lay on the floor, I'ma gonna be in motion."_
Man it's not about cops doing their job and keeping everyone safe. It's about everyone doing what they can to make sure everyone possible gets home safe. This video illustrates that perfectly. Sometimes the protectors need saving. They are people just like us.
Thankful they were able to get the driver out in the 2nd clip. They should have known to open the back door on the drivers side, so they could lay the seat back to safely extract her
That was my immediate thought! Would have been over and done with. I think a small amount of brains just think outside of the box when in intense situations, and the rest just plow adead with the rest of the crowd. I blame my adhd.
When I was in second grade, my mom's car all of a sudden caught on fire when she pulled over on the freeway. She pulled over thinking the car was overheating, and next she knew there was smoke coming into the car from the air vents, so she calmly and urgently told my sister and I to get out, but I was in the back seat with my baby sister while my middle sister was in the front, and I helped my mom get my sleeping baby sister out of her car seat, and I kept tripping on things trying to get out of the car. There was a gentleman that was driving a truck who pulled over to help us, and he let us kids sit in his truck while we waited for the first responders and my mom's ex husband to show up. Honestly, I barely made it out of the car before it was engulfed in the flames, we weren't very far from it, but everyone was okay. Since then though, if a car I'm in looks like it's smoking even a bit, typically it's just the cold rain and the heat from the car, or I smell something from the car I didn't feel I should I absolutely freak out, and I have to exit the vehicle. I have zero trust because of that incident. My mom's ex husband was pissed off because he had to come pick us all up, and it ruined his time at the bar doing pull tabs and some drinking.
I talked to John about that story and he described it. He went to prison and he described that as well and I told him he was a great person for doing that for a saving that officer and that's all he wants to do now is help people which is awesome John if you see this ungrateful people like you in life that actually care about other people and willing to step in wherever you're a great person, John.
The moment someone starts coming at me with a gun pointed, while im in the car; they are getting hit by the car. My life is in danger and I won't try to get around someone that wants to shoot me. That white car was crazy for just sitting there while he tried to open the door.
As a woman, I really wish women gained a little humility and better understand that we aren't men. We don't have the physical strength of men. WE JUST DON'T. You can't be in positions where a guy can beat you up, requiring civilian help, and then end with "You can't do that to a woman!" Ridiculous. You're either capable or you're not. But you don't get to pull "but I'm a woman!" when you CHOOSE a dangerous job.
Thank you to all the Good Samaritans out there helping out the boys and girls in blue! #ServingAndProtectingThoseSwornToServeAndProtect #RespectTheBadge #WeGotYourBacksOfficers
11:00 Being a cop at times does suck for a lot of them, but I feel at times it sucks more when you're a Woman and a cop at that cause you'll more and likely run into men like that dude who you can already tell has no respect for cops even more so has no respect for women. Thank god those people stopped to help her out cause that could have gotten way worse than it already was.
When I was a kid, I had this buddy who at 13 had to drive his grandma to the emergency room without a license, that’s a kids emergency dream to be able to drive, but as an adult man, it’s this, rolling up on a police shootout and lending hand-gun!
If I were an American civilian, it would be an honor to be able to help a police officer in any situation in the US, but if we try to help a police officer here in Brazil, we are arrested.
I truly love these videos, showing the amazing hearts of the officers and citizens. Amazing work as always to law enforcement and the people stepping in knowing they could loose there lives at any moment.
the case with the dude attacking the female cop around 15 minutes in, i'll never understand how the justice system would even allow a case like that to go to trial when you have a literal video of the dude attacking the cop like that. Just throw the book at him. There's nothing to discuss or go to trial for. The evidence is beyond hard
Start off with this statement: I am not against women being peace officers in the least. Having stated that: The woman officer escalated that by advancing on him. Trying to gain superiority of the situation. And trying to knock suspect off balance as well by shoving suspect into the vehicle. Instead of stopping and keeping out of arms length. She got too close; and the suspect got the upper hand. Yes, there is also a place for getting close in order to control the hands/arms. But she failed to do that quick enough and that suspect was clearly torqued off at being shoved into that vehicle. And as such being in a highly agitated state to begin with was pushed and decided to fight back. To his detriment. Had he stopped he might have had grounds to file complaints/charges on the officer for shoving him. ???? But now he's the one with extra charges. And then afterwards when the suspect was "secured" the officer decided to play the race/sex card about not doing that to woman.
@@arronsmith3813 I didn't look that far into it but even in just the first 5 seconds when they walk behind the car I thought her tone was really rude and that she was ordering him around before even asking him to comply in a kind manner.
The third clip should be evidence as to why females shouldn’t be on duty police officers on there own as she couldn’t deal with a pensioner and needed help
A female cop should never engage a male who is irate and belligerent! She's asking for trouble!! She shouldn't have pushed him, and she should have called for backup immediately!! No female cop should ever be alone on traffic stops!!
She had no reason to put hands on him, actually. He can point and scream at her all he wants, it is a protected right. She got physical first thereby violating his 4th Amendment right to be secure in his person. Fairly easy federal lawsuit.
@@shinynewfie9240 The gender does matter in this case as a 64 years old man was close to overpower her. It doesn't automatically mean she's a bad cop but not being strong enough when it's needed shouldn't be allowed in law enforcement.
And then they’ll investigate themselves and decide they did nothing wrong. The sad part is, many Californians are moving to Arizona. That’s not always a good thing.
Man or not with proper training that woman should have been able to take down and control that 65 year old man I have a 4ft 11 98lb 15 yr old girl in my bjj class that is now blue belt that takes down controls and submits full grown 6ft 200+lb men from 20-40yrs old including using her in classes teaching law enforcement and when these officers comein with just there police training get absolutely humbled beyond what any of y'all can imagineits quite sad the lack of standards we hold our law enforcement to have and thats why you see so many of these cases againstpolice its not the officers faultthey'reled to a false sense of personal ability/safety by their superiors becausetheir superiors themselveswere giventhe sametrainingits truly pathetic and this child only joined and been training 3 years!
Remember, these days people are taught there’s no difference between men and women, “women are just as strong”. Granted the only people who believe it have clearly never actually been in a physical altercation.
number 3 is insane, how to people in charge think its okay for any officer to be by themselves. In australian we have a buddy system, no officer goes alone!
I will definitely aid the police officer when such opportunity arises. My hat is off to Police Officers. Police have to be so polite and protocol to the suspect if deadful force is nessesarry.
The woman who apprehended the 60-year-old man handled the situation horribly. She had no good reason for touching the compliant man and then shoving him against his car for no reason. #badcop
13:55 I’m sorry but it should be “you don’t do that to a police officer”, not “you do not do that to a woman” yall fought for equal rights you don’t get to pick and choose what that means. All I hear when the officer says that is “you should treat me differently because I’m a woman in a mans job.”
That was the civilian woman in the blue tank top that came over to help the cop who stated that. She had a completely different voice than the lady cop.
