The first one made me literally tear up, the kid that the father is yelling at in the proof video reminds me so much of my little brother. This hit somewhere deep, some people just don't deserve to be a parent, and that man is a good example of that

And the brave older brother, that asseipe dad will be cleaning him instead of taking responsibility, and I'm sure will be trying to alienate his brother and sister against him

My dad is a police officer. One of the worst cases he ever got was a call he thought was a prank call, but showed up anyway. The call was about a girl telling the operator that her mom was abusing her sister. My dad got there and the sister came out all quiet, he said that the oldest didn’t speak English very well but he understood basic things. The younger sibling then came out and he was shocked. The girls face, back, hair, legs, and arms had all been mutilated with box cutters. My dad called in back up and arrested the mom on the spot, and the dad was so grateful to get his daughters away from her. Worst part was she only got six months in jail. Luckily the family had a lot of ties in that area and my dad found out that the girls’s father was able to bring them back to Mexico before the mom got out. I was so proud of my dad cause at first he was the only one who wanted to take that call ❤

I pray that any child that has gone through or IS going through ANY type of abuse, finds peace and healing. :(( The first one just made me cry and I'm just 3 minutes in..

That first dad makes me f*cking ANGRY. The dad has a drinking problem, has pulled this sh!t before and they still had 50-50 custody. I'm always so worried about what happens to the kids once the bad parent gets out of jail.

I have great respect for the officers who have to deal with these cases involving infants & children. Seeing neglected or abused children has got to be just awful. I can only imagine the internal restraint it takes not to attack the parents either verbally or physically. So many children have one or more bad parents, it's heartbreaking to watch. Another horrible situation is watching the elderly or our vets suffering.

It’s sad that dads are even bad parents my dad is great and has 1 of the most kind hearts in the world, I wish everyone was this nice.

Watching the first dad talk to his little boy really makes angry. Bet his tune would change if a real man was in the room.

My mother use to abuse us ,but me the most. It was first 6 of us, then 8, then 12 living at home. If they tried to pick up for me she would turn on them. They were younger and afraid. The police came many times but she would lie and start falsely crying. Then laugh at how she was such a great actress and should be in movies in Hollywood. She got away so many times. I spent 6 months in hospital after she threw me off some steps. My baby brother was pushed and again she got away. Each time they left her because she was pretty. Eventually she murdered my father, got away again on a lie. She terrorised us until she died from a heart attack at 63 years old.

People like the first dad reminds me of my father... Its fucking horrid that a parent think its ok to do that... Like yea discipline at certain times is ok, but punching/pushing/and whatever this parent did was not discipline, but angered fueled abuse.

It's been 50 years and I am still that 1st beaten and abused little brother. In my 20s, I had 8 years of analysis, and I'm still broken. Children are said to be resilient and maybe some are but most are precious and fragile. With early, immediate, intervention and counseling these boys have a chance at a normal life. Once you've been beaten down with fists, angry foul mouths, sick perversions. Even the S.Abusewas angry punishment and deep pain. The bruises and broken bones heal. But the emotional wounds stay on and on. You always feel at risk. You avoid the unknown and you feel exactly like you did 40 years earlier. You try to remain invisible. It prevented me from scool plays. I was always the curtain puller. I had to stop watching at 4:32. Watching it has me shaking in fear and anger. I couldn't even feel anger until my parents died. I was the youngest of 6. My family believed in 'trickle-down abuse'. I felt safest curled up under dirty laundry at the bottom of a plastic laundry basket, under the stairs. Louvered doors with that adult shadow pausing at my 'cubby hole' door. Best wishes and better child protection. This wasn't his 1st time. Where was children's aid?!

The fact that the little girl was traumatized by the cops arresting her abusive father and not by witnessing the actual abuse to her sibling says a lot about what she’s been exposed to.

The father, who says he makes too much money to live in a mobile home, is arrogant and an elitist. My mom bought a three bedroom mobile home after our parents divorced in the early 70s. She wasn't able to find an apartment or townhouse that would rent to her because they assumed we'd trash the place or cause trouble for the other neighbors. Our neighbors were hardworking people who wanted a less costly lifestyle than home ownership but didn't want to live in the city in an apartment. Some of my best childhood memories were during the time we lived there. I moved into a new double wide my ex-husband & I had bought & the park itself was situated in a country environment but with the ability to get to a city shopping center within a reasonable time frame. I still miss living there. I got to hear the frogs during the winter & the Canadian geese flying overhead. There was almost zero crime & some of the neighbors were kind & helpful. I would live in another mobile home if it was situated in a nice environment like that.

the first one brings tears to my eyes, I've been in that kids position, I know his anger, I know his fear, its something I hope nobody else in this world has to experience, I'm glad the older brother was there to record it all, and I'm glad at least some action was taken against the father, though it will never be enough.

The 17 year old girl who struggled to catch her breath after her father pinned her to the ground reminded me of a scenario from my youth. My brother or sister would sit on me & hold my arms over my head while the other one tickled me. I was the oldest, but I was considerably shorter & thinner. Because I was thin, the tickling was actually painful. *It felt like their fingers were going in between my ribs. When they finally let me up, I'd be breathing really hard. It wasn't due to being sat on as they managed to avoid most of my lung area. The readon I'd be breathing so fast & hard was because they triggered an emotional response, which then triggered a physical one. I remember standing up, breathing hard & wanting to put a serious beat down on them, not that I would have been able to at 17 years old & only 4'10" & 85lbs. The extreme reaction I had to their actions was triggered by my having complex PTSD. The PTSD was a direct result of the verbal bullying & lack of affection or love from our father. That he was more gracious to my siblings didn't help. They, in turn, started physically bullying me & my sister because brutal as we reached high school. That 17 year old daughter was struggling to breathe because she was probably full of adrenaline & having that fight or flight response. I hope someone gets her into counseling, it's so important she is taught coping skills. It's equally important that she is taught to have self-respect, to better her life with a good job so that she's not dependent on anyone else. I would constantly attract the wrong men because I didn't have enough self-respect & didn't think I deserved better treatment than I was getting.

That first father’s behaviour made me cry. It reminded me of my childhood. My father would get drunk and beat us. My mother didn’t drink, but she had no problem beating us. 3 out of 4 of us ran away from home as soon as we were old enough,( 13 yrs. old ).The fourth joined the navy as soon as he could. Two out of 4 of us took their own li*ves. The other two were just really messed up ,our entire lives. I beg you, please keep your hands to yourself. Abuse does leave life long scares. as a kid I'm only 2:47 in and that us SO sad bro i feel so bad for that kid and family.

My heart aches every time I see children being neglected and/or abused by their parent(s). I chose not to have children because I knew I had little patience & would swear when I was mad. The doctor said a two part issue, one being environmental & the other being hereditary. I remember my parents yelling at one another, though I cannot actually see their faces until I was a little older & after they divorced. My father would verbally bully me until I cried & wasn't patient with me either. My younger two siblings faired better. I resented my mother for a long time for not divorcing him sooner, the emotional anguish I suffered would have ended sooner. As the burden of raising three kids alone became harder & with no child support from our deadbeat father, our mother's impatience & anger would flare up. I remember thinking that there were times I would rather have gotten spanked than called names. I had as yet undiagnosed Complex PTSD & didn't know that's why my own issues with anger & frustration were becoming worse. People assume that I hate children & that's why I decided not to have them. It's actually not true, I didn't want a child to suffer the emotional pain & low self-esteem I did. I also knew my then husband was definitely not good father material, he wasn't even good husband material. I'm on antidepressants/anti anxiety *medications now so I'm able to cope better & remain calmer much, much more frequently, but that's not saying there aren't other side effe ts from the medication. I've tried stopping the medications but start having nightmares & worsening depression within three days. I have fibromyalgia, so in that regard it's better I didn't have children, it can be hereditary. *Some of the medications I'm on help with the physical pain & not just the depression/anxiety.

The first one was a killer to me, too! Put aside if you think the mother is playing games, even put aside for a moment that there wasn’t much physical bruises, cuts, etc. …the mental anguish for him and the other kids is the long term crap that can ruin lives! Bruises and cuts are addressed, someone may pay for them, but they are out in the open and can heal. Mental stuff gets hidden and pushed to the back and never dealt with for years sometimes! Lord help all these babies!

My dad used to be a lot like the first. He was slightly less physical around my mom but the video made me think of when I was 10 and I was doing school in the car and so we got groceries and went home. My mom was with my older brother on a trip and when we got home I put my backpack on my back and grabbed groceries and went in and my dad yells “why the fuck are you taking your backpack in before all of the family groceries? You need to prioritize the family” and I replied “dad I have groceries in my hand I’m putting my backpack down and going back outside to get more” and my dad head butted me “for talking back” leaving 2 black eyes and when my mom got home Monday we moved to my grandads house and I got to chose when to see him or not from there on! Biggest thing to learn is that you cannot continue the cycle. I’m now happily married and talk/act nothing like my dad
