I shed a tear at the 2nd one, the guy who was trying to make conversations and comfort him just made me feel like there still is some humanity on this planet
Everyone goes through sh!t. Some people aren't raised with the tools needed to navigate life successfully and screw up. Just because someone done something wrong it doesn't have to define them. We all find success when they turn their lives around. When they contribute to become productive members of our communities, WE ALL benefit.
John Lally is one amazing human being!! He didn't just keep this officer physically safe.... He stayed by his side, reassured him, comforted him, and kept him calm and alert. Great job, John! 👍🏻
He videoed it, there were officers with the guy and he kept inserting himself and promoting himself and getting in the way to look good... I respond to disasters for 20 + years there's always some sad wannabe getting in the way!
@@StephenBassett-m4gdon’t be ignorant. The guy did great. He wasn’t making it about himself, he was talking with the officer to keep him conscious and reassure him so he didn’t slip out and not wake up. I’d hope I could be close to as good as him in that situation.
@@CrispyBarOfSoap Was literally repeating how he'd been to prison, so yes he was making it about himself and shoving a camera in someone's face after they're shot is some Nightcrawler sh*t
@@tbct4619BS. the other officers on scene asked for help moving him. Those moments talking to him were imperative and clearly the other officers were busy trying to control the situation. Did you hear anyone else attending to the injured? No. He started the video to record the situation, which the courts need - don’t be a fool. He was a little busy and therefore stopping the video was the last thing on his mind abs every second was precious and focused on something else. Fkn A
The ex convicte shows that people can change. I knew he made mistakes and paid for it but he made the effort to be a better man. Seeing him help the officer was amazing and inspiring.
@@rocklerock495 would make sense if he got something out of it, or something that would invalidate or overshadow the good deed. It's still a good deed at the end of the day, regardless of the intention. We sometimes have to fool ourselves that we're good people to become good people.
I've taken Brazilian jiu-jitsu and wrestled up into high school and the guy who helps the pregnant cop has definitely taken jiu-jitsu and knows how to "Roll." Thank you Gracie family.
That officer choking on gum and the kid who saved him brought tears to my eyes. The kid saying "go ahead, take me in"....and the officer saying "no way". That was a scene of majestic beauty.
Unfortunately it's very staged. Choking victims don't behave that way and go ridged and freeze. The gum once out was all air from the cheeks - meaning it was in his mouth. I did the heimlich on my son and I trained as an officer so I saw choking cases : ) as touching as the video was it wasn't real.
3rd clip - Going straight was one of the best things that John ever did, and even more, he showed compassion to that injured cop, doing everything in his power to save him. John, you are a legend with a heart of gold!
I feel like I stumbled into a boot-licking convention. It is becoming clear why you all voted for Bolshevism but I have to tell you; there is no protein in boot-polish.
I chased a suspect for 8 blocks once over fences, through yards. I caught him and cuffed him. Next thing I know, I'm waking up in an ambulance. I had COPD and they said my lungs had shut down. They said the suspect was kneeling beside me, still cuffed, banging his head on my chest. I spoke up for him at his trial and the judge gave him probation. He was a good kid that made a mistake.
My dad once saved a cop after he suffered a sudden seizure, and he was later diagnosed with a seizure disorder. It was scary, but my dad handled it with compassion and ease. He kept his cool and kept an eye on him till medics arrived.
I'm bawling!!! To John who helped that cop, your words and compassion for someone else was amazing. I'm glad you turned your life around. I'm not practicing Christian but you were there for a reason. God blessed you
The second one really made me shed a tear, actually. John Lally, a person with a criminal past, still did not hesitate to help the downed Officer and comfort him. I am truly glad that there is still humanity in even some criminals.
I did a quick google search and John the former convict was awarded the Carnegie medal of heroism this year for his actions 🙌💯. And officer Gibson has fully recovered ❤
The 2nd video: the ex-convict took a video for use to take a closer look of the events. He took it to show his boss the reason why he's late for work. Hats off to all of these people though.
@@miasma5733what. Instead the person who fired them should get *their* priorities straight, thats just sad you would even say that, imagine saving and comforting a cop and then getting fired for being a good person, just wild
The one where the ex convict risked his life to help move the injured officer while shots were still fired then stay by him to help keep him calm was so sweet and touching. I'm glad hes a changed man and got his life right. The other one where the officer was choking on gum and the suspect saved him was also very touching as well. I'm thankful they're both ok and the cop let the suspect go.
When I was in prison we all had to watch this old man die. We all tried to help him. He was sweating so much...I've never seen anyone sweat that much. There was a puddle at his feet. We brought him water. Tried to tell the officer the guy was in a REALLY bad way. Medical refused to take him. He died that night, and we all thought it was pretty fucked up. So no, criminals aren't heartless... They keep pets out of a desire to nurture. They mourn the deaths of family members. They teach each other math so they can get their GED. They lament when they can't celebrate their children's birthdays. They celebrate when friends go home. They are, in short, human.
And that’s how God works in misterious way , I’m not ngl tho I’m questioning in to why is there a pregnant police working while pregnant. That child really is blessed.
Video #2: It's so wonderful that a man who had a criminal past had straightened up his life. That he would rescue a police officer who'd been shot is amazing. I hope both Johns have a long, happy life. God bless both of these men.
Im a grown 33 year old man and I couldnt help but tear up watching these clips. There truly are amazing people in this world. There truly are angels among us
2:29 Thank you! I am glad you turned your life around and were able to help this officer. God is good and has great blessings for you, sir. Thank you, and God Bless all of the heroes in this video!
The dude who helped out at 16:09 was calm as fuck and transitioned to that arm wicked smooth. Also, "a pregnant cop" should be behind a desk or on leave.
It’s hard being with someone injured, former firefighter and security here which these videos hit the emotions hard…bless those souls that need it!❤️🔥
Wow, the Choking scene got to me, plus the scene with John. The female officer threatened to tase him multiple times but never did when I saw suspects do a lot less and get tased. A Big Thank You to all who help others in situations like these police officers.
She should have tased him by the time he seemed to get violent against her this situation could have ended quicker now you can tell me Oh ThAtS pOlIcE bRuTaLiTy dont care there are a set of rules and laws in this worls if you dont abide by them you deserve whatever comes towards you ... Yeah I am a bit of a hypocrite considering some of the stuff I do lol but thats the gist of it we all break the laws in a minor way in our everyday lives lol 😅😅😅.
Wow, this was such a powerful reminder that not all heroes wear badges! It's incredible to see how everyday people can step up in the most unexpected ways and help the police when things get tough. These moments really show the good side of humanity, where courage and quick thinking save the day. Major respect to everyone involved! 🔥👏
I didn't see this the same. When she asked him to sit, he immediately went to an 11.... Was it necessary? Idk, most traffic stops, you don't get out of the car....he had an attitude
@@mmcsquared001 Guy was cooperating fine until she asked him to sit on the ground. He might have felt like he was going to be humiliated for no valid reason.
@@mmcsquared001She was quite rude and demanding for a servant. She also tried to physically restrain a larger suspect by herself rather than immediately calling for backup when the situation got risky. She failed to deploy a taser despite empty threats and instead tried to use her own strength when she has these tools given to her as equalizers.
It's noticeable, it only takes one hero to help someone and everyone else follows suit. It's the first action that will make it happen. It's so rewarding to see this. It's incredible, well done 👍👍👍
Ong like ive seen so many pedestrians just record. And the officers were so pissed obviously. But the viewers blame the officers which is the dumb part🤦
ok the second video was heart warming god bless this man and how he comforted the brave officer, i hope they both see this because yall are both heros!
It is nice to see some positive videos of people being decent and helping each other instead of the negativity and knocking others down which is so popular now.
@@creativesparks2164 I know he meant well and that’s awesome that a felon jumped to help the officer but he was just telling a little too much for the situation. A better time would have been after the officer got released from the hospital and called or met up with the guy to say thanks! That when you get into the life story if you choose to.
He did over share but with a GSW victim you want to keep them engaged in a conversation and actively listening so you can assess blood loss effects. If the wounded individual begins to "fade" then they are losing a lot of blood and need to be taken to a hospital as a priority 1. It also helps keep them from falling asleep and not waking back up.
@@bryandenham1516 Agreed but he was doing all the talking ,he should’ve been asking questions not telling the guy a story! He was gonna put the officer to sleep lol
mother fucker already escalated by: 1. all of a sudden getting out of the vehicle without the officer telling him to 2. trying to grab something from the vehicle without the officer telling him to (yes, it was his id but it could have been anything. officer was lucky it wasn't a gun as it was in other incidents where suspects did the exact same thing) 3. raise his voice and become very visible agitated the officer was warranted to tell him to get out of the street first (to not be in the way of other vehicles) and then sit on the ground as he already showed signs of aggression. i know it's trendy for the folks in US to hate on cops but come on man. it's clear the old fuck is the wrong here. he escalated it first
It’s honestly heartbreaking to see how some cops handle situations like this. Shoving an old man just for yelling is a disgusting abuse of power. Doesn’t matter if he was loud, that cop was wrong. We need cops who actually care about people, not ones who bully the vulnerable.
@@MckenzieWhitehead-u6c did or didn't he's right, when the clip appeared the first time in another one of these videos I was shocked nobody commented on it
The pregnant cop is part of the reason why female cops have a bad rep. Instead of "threatening" to taste a dangerous criminal, many times, she let's a civilian (man) do her job for her. She put EVERYBODY in unnecessary danger by hesitating and yelling empty threats. She needs to change jobs. Fast!
0:33 why she handelt the situation like this thinking she can phisically bully an old man into sitting on a patch of grass she escelated the situation for no reason at all
@@manuelluke7715 because he literally walked up on her plus he got out of his car when he wasn’t supposed to in the first place when he got pulled over, and he disobeyed a lawful order which which is a criminal offense
@@ynacrazy1180 he can step out of the car whenever he wants. Also he wanted to show his license and then she ordered him to step aside and sit on the ground. The tone of her voice was out of place too. Why the fuck do she want him to sit on the dirty grass man. Is it not common sense? Idk man😂 Him yelling was not helping but she got physical first
Exactly, you see that the situation she got into was almost completely her own fault. She has a taser and lets the man know she is not afraid to use it... and for some reason gets into the melee range of the unarmed aggressive man? She makes no attempts at de-escalation, in fact she was ready for the man to go apeshit so that she had an excuse to go apeshit as well. Finally, her shove was completely unnecessary, and if anything assault. That shove would not have given her any position to take control of the situation, it was only to push him around, cause pain and prove that she is in charge. That confrontation and how it went wrong was completely avoidable if she had made a single attempt at solving the situation as opposed to not taking it seriously and looking for a fight.
Thank you I say the same thing especially when she had no reason to get a pissed at the guy who wasn't reaching over his back seat to get his driver's license which would have been making it worse. And I see somebody here saying it it doesn't matter he was in the wrong well no he wasn't actually because he was getting his driver's license is the best way he could and reach another seat would have been the worst way he she didn't have any reason then to start pissing at him and pushing him around and threatening him trying to Dominion by selling to sit down and there was no reason for it then when she starts saying don't do that to a woman you don't do that to a woman while she was a cop she's not a woman at that point besides that you don't do that to a person either and so she was doing she didn't fit the same scenario that's what she was saying don't do that to a woman necessarily she did escalate it driver's license instead of reaching over the back seat and getting whatever he can reach in the back seat which could easily been a gun and so he was wrong she was wrong but he should not have been convicted as it was unnecessary considering the totality of the situation as they like to say. There are those that are going to disagree with this but they're the ones that they would only think about it letting it get worse because it's not going to get any better under these type situations
She tells an old guy to sit on the ground, which is probably dirty and he cant probably get up with his bad knees. What an idiot. He was complying until then. Sit on the ground like she is ordering a 2 year old. She escalated it yet again by pushing him. I hope she got fired.
@@bigdot2355 People defend her *because she's a police officer.* I'm a woman myself and I'd react the same as that man. Imagine coming home from work and then some other human individual behvaes like you're its slave. It is extremely inappropriate.
16 years in medical, Respiratory Therapy, and thousands of Code Blues, I think the cop had only a partial blockage, or he would have lost Consciousness. The first thing that happened when the "near complete blockage" came out, was a natural response of deep gasping and slowly coming back around, to the point of telling the suspect, "Don't Be Silly . Cool video. Let me add, the suspect does a great Heimlich MANUEVER, FULLY RECORDED. I'm seeing real events down to the wire.
Regardless of gender or age, all officers should be able to hold their own. Yes there are times when an assist is required, but if you require a "TAXI" to a foot chase you may want to reconsider your job choice. Also for the female yelling "You don't attack a woman" - sorry if you want equal protection you are not a woman you are a COP, act like one
Glad someone said that. It's hilarious how she starts pushing the driver around and then makes a surprised Pikachu face when he fights back and starts screaming "That's not how you treat a woman". She did what her job demanded, sure. But that's clearly not her line of work For a drunk driver she's not a woman. She's a nuisance. For an armed robber she's not a woman. She's a target practice
Regardless of gender? A female can never hold her own against a man. So if you really want to have a female officer she should always be accompanied by a man. Dont send them out alone.
0:25 - that's a clear escalation from the policewoman, isn't it? The driver just went to get the documents and she treated him like garbage. I hope the gentleman has no problems because of her.
In America its always seen as a threat to police officers if the suspect just leaves the vehicle without announcing it. Also who keeps documents in the back of the vehicle?
Idc what custom you got in the country, you dont treat ppl with disrespect when he's complying on documents. I would've had his exact reaction, if not worse, for the aggravation
Michael Tyson is an "old man" too. Not all "old men" are equal. We dont know anything about the guy in question, and we see that it took multiple people to control him.

16:50 why is a pregnant female cop by herself??? Wtf? Not only are women far less physically fit for a job like this, she's PREGNANT! Not only is she less physically able than normal, but she's also always endangering her child too. She should've had a teammate, ideally a male, and this likely wouldn't have been so messy.
In my country, when a female officer announces her pregnancy, she's instantly withdrawn from active duty to protect her and the child. She can still work, but will be moved to an administrative position for the time being, with no cuts to her pay though. After the child is born and she's ready, she can return to active duty later. It's a good system.
I hope it's real, but I think it's fake. When someone's airway is fully obstructed, they can not make sounds because no air can pass over vocal cords. I think I heard that officer making a lot of noise
" ive been to jaim a million times bro, and i love cops too. " and " hold my hand " and the fact that a literal criminal helped a cop, makes me think that there is still some hope left on this planet.
When John Rally told the officer that he had been shot too,and the officer was going to be alright, well he didn't have to say that and expose what he himself had done, but he did. This let the officer know he too was going to be alright. What an amazing man! We all make mistakes, but they don't have to define who and what we are! He changed and made a great difference in his life as well as others!! Inspiring!!!!!
@@OmegaKenelly That was an excellent fake video, the only red flag is the length that officer took in his choking because it doesn't take that long before the victim stops moving.
10:24 he’s such a good guuuy 😭😭😭😭 I hope people understand that good people can do wrong because of their circumstances not because they’re bad people at heart
Tbh, at the first shot, the woman was the first one to get aggressive, i feel like she could’ve have resolved this problem without physical. Idk, thats just my opinion… Edit: K this is further explanation to what i meant, So, she told him to sit on the possibly wet grass, which is my first problem, she could’ve just told to sit on a nearby bench, or in the cars back seat, yet she didn’t, the dude was uncomfortable in sitting on the grass, maybe due it is wet and he may get dirty or not, i think the dirt is wet since it looks like a rain cloud passed by, she then pushed his hand away from her face after he scream “IM NOT SITTING” “IM NOT SITTING MOTHER F*CKER”, so then she screamed on him to put his hands on the car, he didn’t want to either, which i could say is the dude’s fault, then then again it is the officer’s fault FOR LITERALLY PUSHING HIM, then they got violent, i can see that the officer may be scared of the suspect, or she thought he poses a threat, its is VERY unlikely SINCE he is A LITERAL OLD MAN, i hope you guys can see my frustration on this situation, Thank You for reading this!
she should've kept her distance and used the taser instead if he got close, and not go into him and wrestle with him like that. what she did is pretty stupid tbh.
@@V3ntages i'm not too sure if legally he has to obey her in that situation or not, but what i know for a fact is that he absolutely cannot just yell at a cop and get physical with the cop that is 100% unacceptable.
Oh yeah she escalated it way too far way too fast. She shouldn’t have a badge if she’s going to get emotional like that over a simple thing. Police are supposed to have some kind of composure. She has very little if any. “We’re getting physical” as after she pushes him. He didn’t touch her once before that also. Only one being physical at that point is her.
About 10 years ago, a buddy and I stopped by the store on the way back from fishing, we were walking thru the walmart parking lot and heard someone yelling "help anyone, help". We ran over about 6 rows over, a female cop was wrestling with every bit 6'4 male. We helped get him cuffed until backup arrived, which was only 20secs or so. Our girls didn't believe us at first. I had a decent buzz also, lol. All the cops, everyone of course thanked us and all.
The footage at 9:50min... I don't know... this man got no air for like 3mins while conscious? I don't know but hell I was feeling that. Almost cried honestly.
