You can buy New Balance made in USA and UK and I can’t think of another brand that offers that. They are good quality. I wish they have some bolder designs.
And that is true. Unless you specifically buy an OG version of Nikes/Jordans or a collab version of a shoe. The Jordans are hard to find a pair that truly is as comfortable as the new balance(pick a pair). Nikes also have the issue of being hot boxes for your feet. On top of Nike now not making most ok priced shoes with high quality material. I can go buy a pair of 574 and get leather suede and mesh shoes and really feel the quality for all of $90. And that brings up availability. I can readily find any NB even OGs on Amazon. Rather not play app games to get a pair of shoes ya know
Nostalgia is the only reason.....they have been a comfortable shoe all these years still they trended recently only, same reason sambas or AF1 came into trend.... nostalgia.
You know if you would’ve tried them before the “hype” you would’ve loved them. Bought my first pair in 2015 and just got my 10th pair yesterday. They are great shoes. But I agree who tf cares who’s wearing them
I have a size 1 in kids shoes they are one of the only shoes that make me feel like an adult and not like a kid in my shoes. When my I wear my vans and Converse shoes I feel cool at almost 26 years old.
Dad shoes are back, or maybe they never left 😂 But I’m assuming it’s the fact that New Balance actually comes with quality and VERY comfortable products at a fair price point for the general public. I personally still don’t believe New Balance in general are aesthetically appealing shoes, but you can’t deny their comfort 💯🫡 which IS their selling point for the most part

if you’re from the dmv you know they’ve always been cool 80% of my class was rocking new balances in gym class, only kids wearing nikes were mainly wearing just Kd’s and kyrie’s
