Yes he was born in undivided India currently that region is in pakistan but peshawar is his roots but Mumbai is his karambhumi, Hamare yaha janmbhumi se badhkar karambhumi ko shresth mana jata hai And he completed his schooling in Maharashtra only so technically he was just born in peshawar, In 1930s only his family moved to Bombay but Dilip saab already moved to Pune for a living
