I am a 57 yr old grandmother who happened to discover BTS during the pandemic. They have been my lifesavers because my depression and anxiety were so bad. Their music 🎶 and lyrics are uplifting, positive, kicking my butt right out of the black hole, my mind, body & soul go to hide from the whole world 🌎 I love and appreciate them so much, that I joined the Army. Yes, 2 of my kids think I'm a Lil nuts but who cares. I worked in our local middle school so I've always had my hand on all of the new music and artists because of the kids. It's how I connected with them and being the administrative secretary for the vice-principal the kids needed someone on their side, someone they trusted, could count on. I was that person and they knew I would never betray them. BTS IS also the only Kpop group I list to. NO ONE can take away my love and respect for these young men. The hardships and heartache they share with their fans who fight for them when something is not right, some serious shi$. BTS and Armys share a Neverending love that goes well beyond artists and fans. We both genuinely care, love and want the same things for each other and if these IDIOTS weren't so blatantly stupid, actually took the time to listen to their lyrics they WOULD UNDERSTAND THIS! Thanks for keeping it real, speaking out 🔊, giving BTS and their Fandom a voice. It's friends like you that make a huge difference for us ♥️💙💜🤟

As a Greek army I am sorry for the first one. Most of Greece is extremely behind in most subjects, including inclusivity. We Greek army's are very sorry. They draw the lovers of the world towards them beacause of their mutual love, compassion and respect for one another and Army. I have a feeling they very much look like the angels in heaven. They have been gifted to the world to bring laughter, joy, energy and light into a dark world. This is for those 'who have eyes to see and ears to hear'.

One thing I have never been able to understand about the German DJ is that Cold Play themselves were totally happy and supportive of the BTS cover of Fix You and complimented them. Please all you haters take a good hard look at yourself and find the reason you have so much hate in you.

I’m not gonna lie I thought my daughter was watching some girly boy band at first and now I’m a bigger fan than she is. We all have an idea of what a man looks like to us mostly based on the male members of our family and I am so grateful that I let my bias be challenged because I love these men so much and they have brought light into my depressing life! I’m two concerts in and over $1000 in official merch and not stopping until I die! ARMY for life I will be blasting them in the nursing home!

I'm 33 and became an ARMY recently, I fell down the pleasant rabbit hole. I haaaaaaate when people say shit like "they're for 15 yrs old girls". Most of the accounts I follow on twitter are ages between 25 - 60. I'm honestly not surprised that there are people like this around the world and that's sad if you think about it. NONE of these actions and words from these people are not a surprise, that being said, I am so happy that ARMY and other kpop fandoms came through. Thank you guys 💜 also, I love you lol. I hadn't really heard of BTS until I watched a carpool karaoke when they did that crosswalk concert. I have since the watched a TON of videos on them. They've put in so much hard work...blood, sweat and tears to get where they are today. I liked CNCO back when they were a 5 member group. They could have just left the interviewer hanging after saying they liked what BTS was doing instead of mocking them. If the shoe was on the other foot there's no way they would like someone making fun of them. In the end though these 7 guys from South Korea deserve everything they have gotten and more.

I am German and I was SO EXTREMELY mad when I heard that with the radio show in Bavaria! I think even non-German speakers can hear it, but he said these words with SO much vile and hate in his voice. The first time I heard it I was just speechless and then I just got very VERY angry. And the “Apologies” after that were even more infuriating, because he didn’t apologize, he basically said “I am sorry you are offended, it was just a joke”. 6:50 As a college student majoring in mass communications (deals with all types of media such as newspaper, tv, radio, etc) I can tell you that, yes, they are supposed to screen their names. As a professional, whether you're the one writing the script or the host reading it, you're expected to do your research on the topics you are presenting. You're also expected to know the pronunciation of all names in the script because it can get you and the station in trouble (like in this situation) if that person or their fans get offended. And while I understand that pronouncing Korean names (if you aren't used to it) can be hard, BUT it's very easy to look up the pronunciation of any of their names and find a 10 second video (or shorter) on RU-vid for it. But clearly, from the way all of these hosts act while they're broadcasting LIVE, they are not professionals.

I became fan of BTS in 2015-16. N believe me I wanted to protect them because they are so pure. I usually don't fan girl celebrities. However, bcz of BTS then i was able to distract myself from all the sad emotions i used to feel without reason. I introduced them to my family n they said they are little kids n girlish. After watching few even they became huge fan of BTS.

I think back to how i thought it was so strange that my 5 year old daughter religously watched and listened to bts on her ipad. Knowing full well they never spoke a word of english and a majority of their songs are in korean as well. But she loved them nonetheless. Until one day I stumbled upon subtitles and english translations to their songs and I could see what they stood for. That their songs were not about hate, violence, race, sex, drugs or egotistical things. Their music spoke about mental health, love and loving yourself. They speak on so many issues that many young people face and for that I am appreciative of them. I now consider myself ARMY. I watch many episodes of the 7 members, and I see their different personalities, brotherly affection and love towards each other, that gives me great comfort. They are just like you, and I. Not only are they beautiful people but they are great rolemodels! I am so saddened to hear such hateful remarks towards them.
