He is a remarkable young man and lucky to have you as a mom, I have downs and my niece is downs and being tested for autism she is 6 but has the mind of an 18month old really
Your doing an awesome job love your video. Our daughter is 4 and has downs people have told us that she'd be slow at grasping concepts and ideas but she's a pistol. She's learned so much on her own it's truly amazed us.
Man I seriously feel so bad for young adults and kids that have server autism and disabilities. But it apparently doesn’t make them a bad person. It makes them very special and awesome 👏
You are a GREAT mom keep up the good work!!! I really do understand a lot of your struggles and joys. I have to say the part I hate about Homeschooling is keeping records. One of my biggest worries is dying before Anna too, "What will happen?". But I have to put it in the Lord's hands. Anna is a big hugger and kisser too :o) Bret is a handsome young man and is doing so well ~ he seems so focused ~ Best Wishes and Have a blessed day. Vivian
Thanks for sharing your family's story! My son is 3 1/2 and also has Down Syndrome. I've suspected for awhile now that he may have autism too, and have been doing research, but honestly there's not a lot of info out there. He started preschool in September, but is still so disconnected from everyone and everything socially. He is nonverbal and doesn't seem motivated to communicate. I haven't mentioned my thoughts about autism to his teachers or therapists, but I'm also surprised that they haven't seen those qualities in him that I do. In your experience, what should I do next? Do I have him see an expert in autism? I've been hesitating for the same reasons that you expressed- because I'm not sure if his behaviors are simply reflective of his intellectual challenges, and not necessarily autism. At the same time it's obvious that he is different that his classmates who also have Down syndrome.
my cousin who recently passed would have been 23 on the 17th of january passed away and his funeral was yesterday he had both autism and down syndrome and i too think what if he was normal me and him would be going everywhere together he was only like 2 or 2 and a half years older than me but i think deeper and i wouldn’t have preferred him any other way than he was when he was he Love you Robert💙👼🏼😪
Good job. That inspiration I just took care of my classmate GJ Ravalo [don't say that he is my toy panda's host] In school. He does gestures and has hard time talking. When he messed things up, I had to take care of him.
you know, I don't nesasarily have any of thoses traits. I can most def feel for them. I have a quote learning disability. It's hard for me as Well let alone any of my problem. I would like to work with people or kids with intellectualy difficulties. its very gratifying for me. my two cents.
Pos Badur Kirant you are 100 percent true, I believe in reincarnation and karma and possibly people that have really bad disability’s could have did awful shit in their past life, leading their next life to be like this as a result of Karma
