You might have encountered Riichi Mahjong in the Yakuza series, by watching the Akagi or Saki anime, or you might have seen your favorite VTubers from Hololive or Nijisanji playing. The rules are virtually identical whether you're playing in Yakuza, FFXIV, Mahjong Soul, Tenhou, or Riichi City.

The experience you had with Pokémon Emerald actually has a name! Post-Game depression is very much a thing people get. Hearing you talk about it got me thinking about how I got it when I finished Persona 5. I had spent a lot of free afternoons for months totally engrossed in the story and the characters, and I felt sad when their story ended. Had to go for a walk in the woods to clear my head and take a long break from video games in general.

yusong, i have to tell you - the story about the ending of your pokemon adventure made me tear up in real life. love the way that your heart comes through in the way you play games. it is a delight every time you upload, and a highlight of the day to sit back with a cup of coffee and watch the sicknarstiest mahjong gameplay this side of youtube

Totally understand you leaving the character in a nice spot at the end of the game. You make a connection with them throughout the journey. I like to leave mine at home with mom after finishing the game. Edit to comment on the ending. Seeing the through line for exhaustive draw was *chefs kiss*

When a yakuman chance presents itself, do you do it for a single game that may land you on 4th, or do you go win it for all its glory? Always go for the yakuman as its not just about the game.

*SPOILER* What a crazy game, but it all worked out That South 4 round was so tense, but you played it very well! Good stuff! It's always hard to decide between a Yakuman or fold, especially in 4-player. With hindsight, it's easy to say "fold", but I bet I would've pushed too... ^-^;

I think in East 4 it's dangerous to keep the 5s right? It means you prob have to throw the 5s or 6m to get into tenpai later, which feels dangerous. Very shields down right? Just my thought while watching, curious what others think
