The string you're pulling for the blinds to go up, you have to pull it diagonally! Don't just pull straight up. That's how they'll stay! Hope that makes sense!! 😊
You need to put screens up on ALL your doors that open to the outside AND all your windows, @Sundai! Avoid the bug and “rodentia” at ALL cost, sis! I also RAID the outside perimeter of my home and outside doors 1x a month. I also planted mint on each side of the house to keep mice, snakes, and spiders to a minimum (need more than a small plant).🤗 To RAISE the blinds you have to pull the cable down and to the RIGHT. To LOWER the blinds you have to pull the cable down and to the LEFT.

The tile situation is wild because my childhood home in philadelphia was baby blue and pink and i mean the entire thing was tiled. My dad changed it to white of course but wow the memories

For the blinds Pull the string to the right you should hear a click which is the string being held in place. To undo just pull the string to the left for them to be un-held. Love your attitude in all your videos. Your home is looking amazing.

For the blinds, pull on string and while it's at the height you like, pull to the right and it shoud lock it. To lower, pull left and let go. That may be reverse order, but that should do it 😂
The amount of things I learned while renoing my house. My dad is a phone call and like 20 mins away to help and my mom is great with holding onto things (had a lot of curtains to put up...omg). Dad has lately just been helping with structural information and the math (I have dyscalculia and ADHD so I literally cannot do it.). I actually won a contest pre-quarantine and I'm very careful with money to the point where I renoed a full apartment with the funds from it. I spent a stupid amount of money on sliding doors that I loved and my dad also helped keep an eye out for items I wanted. Last year i got a 1950s style vanity for my studio and a proper rolling chair for my office. (Those are so expensive...but so are chiropractor/massage bills.) Highly recommend going to auctions and buying 2nd hand; if you're moving or planning to move to another place mention it to friends/family because people declutter and reno their houses pretty often. Sometimes you'll have to wait a bit for exactly what you wanted. Also if you don't like the colour, paint isn't really that expensive if you're painting a smallish area i.e. chair or whatnot. I'm redoing the 1950s vanity chair with fabric and a staple gun....It actually looks way older now that I think about it...Maybe they got it in the 50s as in like bought from someone else or something. *shrugs* I was given it as my birthday present last year.
What you want is call wave and that box up the window is for that. You can put translucent on one rail (closest to the window) and black out or more opaque on the other one. I don't recommande both on the same rail you have the installation for separate one like the picture you have shown in the video.... ( I work in a fabric store in Canada and we sell wave and rail we make them on demand)... Sorry for my broken English

Hey darlin, there are several renter friendly hacks for remodeling a bathroom right here on youtube you could easily do yourself. Im a renter as well and found myself feeling stuck with the same hideous bathroom situation so I can dig it lol. Its amazing what you can do Peel and stick vinyl flooring and fancy countertop style contact paper! Cool thing is there easy to remove if need be!
Sundai's shade about vegetarian food!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Yooooo, vegan or vegetarian food actually tastes better then meatbased dishes, if done right. I'm a Caribbean islander American, our meat based cuisine is one of THE best in the world. Meat is cleaned, seasoned and fried to PERFECTION. I still don't think those meat based dishes better then the vegan food I mainly eat now. Maybe the meat in Japan is amazing like that!🎉🎉🎉🎉😅
