This was the real 1% hope 99% faith wala match. How Chelsea won on that day i still can't describe. Truelly written in the stars match.

April 24, 2012 second leg match at Nou Camp will forever be my most favorite memory as a Chelsea fan. Such an emotional journey even when we think about it today. 0-2 down, Terry sent off, down to 10 men, Ramires chip, Cech penalty save, impenetrable defence, and Torres finally sealing it for us. My entire apartment was asleep but I was jumping up and down with tears when Torres scored. Revenge for what Barca and referees had done to us in the 2009 CL seemed to be settled fair and square. Certain things are written in the stars. Winning this match was one such. Winning the final was a formality after this match. The feeling that we just couldn’t lose started creeping in after winning this match and the FA Cup. Great memories. I had finished my 12th exams and was waiting for the results so it was a relatively stress free time in life too. On a side note, the year later, we got eliminated from the CL in the first round and ended up winning Europa league. There was a 10 day gap between the Europa final and the CL final in 2013 and I was telling my friends that for those 10 days, Chelsea were the “Ultimate Champions of Europe” holding the CL and Europa league titles at the same time. Good times in life. 😊

Baba...I have been a messi and barca fan since I can remember...but the first football match i ever watched in my life was this one...even being a barca fan this match is probably one of the most special match that I keep close to my heart because that night taught me everything about football and what winning UCL embodies and introduced me to so many legendry players like Drogba, Lampard, Robben, ribbery, Muller, etc. I occasionally revisit the match highlights but watching this narrated by you was extra special..thank you.

That's what am saying Underdog teams have outperformed the favourites in high pressure UCL K/O matches Inter against Barca and Bayern in 2010 Chelsea against Bayern in 2012 Dortmund against Real Madrid in 2013 Lyon against City in 2020 Chelsea against City in 2021 Villarreal and Benfica's incredible S/F runs last season Inter can also do today Forza Nerazurri Not an Inter fan but i hope they can save football today ❤💙🖤
