"Girlboss" is typically used to refer to a woman who has great pride in being a "strong independent woman", and a lot of the time is used as fuel for egos. That's why you see social media flooded with them. A failed girl boss still has the same underlying personality that made her seek out that lifestyle to begin with, she just failed at it and is settling for an alternative to her preference.

Back in 2015-2019 i was about $27k in debt and working retail for $9-$11 per hour. I lived at home with my parents so no real bills and i cruised for a little bit paying my debt off slowly. Then the last year i got angry at everything and ate ramen noodles and great value beefaroni for 6 months to speedrun the rest of my debt. $7k in one payment. Now I'm out of debt and quit that job and got a less annoying higher paying one and am in a much better place mentally. No gf, but I'm a lot happier than i was and haven't really been looking for one. You might suffer at times in your life, but if you keep hammering away at it little by little, things usually get better. If you give up things will never have a chance to improve.
