My heart is heavy listening to this. It’s sounding alarmingly gnostic… we need to keep these people of influence and platform in our prayers. Actually... you need to know GOD to know THE BIBLE -- The Holy Spirit teaches and reveals the truth of God's Word. But it requires intimacy... closeness... proximity... get IN His presence, and He'll reveal HIS TRUTH to you.

So statistics show that many people in the church today do not read or half read the Bible. God makes it clear that I'm to hide God's word in my heart that I may not sin against God. This is how many in the elect, the chosen called out ones will be lead astray in these last and evil day, by not reading, studying, applying, and being obedient to God's word. His word is how He speaks most of the time. That's why we need to eat it every day. At least two to three times a day. We feed our natural bodies daily. Most of us aren't going to miss a meal. We to make sure we take the same approach to feeding our spirit man too, eat that daily bread of God's word.
Thankfully, salvation comes from the Lord, not the pastor. If you heard the gospel from a boring old preacher in a half empty church house, you could still receive salvation because the power is in the Message, not the messenger.
God cares about everything we do. What we eat, what we read, who we listen to. What we wear. Who we spend our time with. Holiness is God's standard. Period!
But to me, that’s a problematic statement because Hebrews talks about people like Abraham before Christ, still believing in the coming Messiah that would come and fulfill all things, and so in a sense he’s right, but he’s also negating that very important fact that Moses died believing in the Messiah coming.
Just because they can sing doesn’t mean they are called to be Pastors and Bishops. I saw this years ago with Marvin Sapp, Smokey Norful to name a couple. I thought who made them Pastors? When I started teaching, I started out with some of these types of statements and then checked them against the text I was teaching out of and had to scratch what I said out and start over. When the text and context doesn't support my point, my point has to change, not the text. Took me at least four hours to prepare for that first adult Sunday School class, ended up with a LOT of those kind of phrases crossed out. It is good to refute and expose what false preacher's, teacher's, pastor's speak because they are leading people straight to hell. Brother continue to expose those who are leading masses of people astray. Every single word in the bible is what God has laid down for us to follow and not to add or take away from the Scripture.
If he was talking about the rich young ruler and Zacchaeus, they 100% had the same thing to do: REPENT! The biggest difference is one was willing to repent and get rid of the money that had been an idol, while the other was unwilling to do the same thing. That can be potentially a good sermon comparison, but it was completely botched here.
Even in psychology, they say that guilt is a good thing and shame is a bad thing, because guilt actually leads a person to change. It is a shame that is not good. How much water should a believer, rest, their head and body and wait on the anchor and foundation of the holy Scriptures as it causes to repentance time and time again, if the secular world believes in a type of conviction, why are CERTAIN Christians trying to get rid of it?

You ask the question is Ty saying these things because "he doesn't know the scripture or does he knows the Bible and just creating his own religion"? I would say he knows something about the Bible, he grew up in Pentecostalism, his father was pastor, his mom was a minister, I believe what we are seeing is Ty creating his own religion based on rebellion. Ty is attempting to put the lost and saved on the same playing field by minimizing sin, probably because he grew up in a religion where holiness or hell was strongly emphasized.
🤔🧐🧐🧐-Speaking as the wife of a Pastor, I think our kids see a lot of things we would rather them not see or experience! While Dad is preaching the Word of God, they see and hear members in all types of situations that do not line up with scripture. They are usually the first to stray because church was a source of confusion growing up.

I’ve been asking the same question @Kdubtru. Why are so many gospel singers becoming pastors? I just don’t get it. I think that most of them are using ministry as another source of income.

Tye needs guidance. He was one of the only gospel singers I would listen to because his songs were sound. I believe he really needs to be taught as he has seen so much that he is confused. :-( Tye has great potential.

My answer to your question is that he has read the Bible but does not understand in his spirit what is truly being said because he loves the world therefore he has no discernment. I say that as someone who went down that path and was blind, deaf and dumb and had no clue I was in a reprobate mind. If he is simply ignorant then another man or woman will be able to reach him if the Lord is guiding them. However, if he is like I was with a true reprobate mind no one but the Lord Jesus Christ and the most high God will free him. The Lord got through to me in away I never would have imagined and wouldn’t wish on anyone else but God ripped me out and laid bare how ugly I truly am. I am thankful and rejoice everyday for being found. I pray this young man is delivered by the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit told me 6 years ago that the spiritual condition in the churches is deteriorating how? Most of those leaders are not called by God, which is why things are going so wrong in the churches end time. Shalom

I have a family member (Christian) who’s always talking about how “religious” certain Christians or Christian churches are. When I press him to explain what that means, I never get a clear answer. My impression is that he simply thinks Christians who rightly understand that God has saved us and called us to a sanctified life that desires to and must turn from sin and seek to please Him is oppressive and judgmental, and this makes him uncomfortable. I sincerely think that he may not understand the gospel, or has learned a false gospel of easy believism, where God is just there to bless his life and that he can continue in sin without consequence because it’s all “covered by the blood.”
1 John 2:27 talks about no need of anyone teaching you because of the Holy Ghost. But we all need to be taught. We have to study to show ourself approve and we also need to sit under teaching to confirm what we have learned.
💯 And in addition, I totally believe that all these preachers ,prophets, apostles today ( Most not all false and deceivers) formulate sermons and distort the bible to justify their own sinful and unrighteous acts and desires! I say this as a redeemed heathen who grew up knowing the bible yet chose to deviate but Hallelujah Gods grace and mercy saved me in Jesus Name so I spot hypocrisy immediately because I was one! God demands holiness ,without which we shall not see HIM.
