I’m a licensed Cosmetologist first off her hair turned out beautiful. Second everyone watching please do not scratch out dry scalp or dandruff with a comb. You can break the skin on your scalp and get a bad infection. Especially if the hair is dirty now you have a open wound that germs and dirt can get into.

No, she didn’t NEED it but, she probably wanted a different look. I’m the same way. I have thick hair that’s to my mid back. I sometimes add in extensions for a different look or to make it fuller. That’s the fun part about going to the salon. You get to switch it up 😉

@@Frosti12 Beauticians went to school and have a license to do hair. Hair stylists/Hair dressers can not legally do certain things to someone's hair. For instance they cannot wash your hair which is why many stylists tell you to come to their shop if with your hair already washed, detangled and braided for certain hairstyles. They also may only have licenses for braiding only (depending on the state) which limits their services somewhat. Basically, your not getting the whole shebang from a hair dresser.

I love seeing this and people that say black women that have long hair don't exist they think we always wear extensions when most of the time we don't need to black women wear extensions even when they already have long inches because we try to protect our hair and she's gorgeous
exactly, what we are just doing is protective styling. We don't wear wigs or have extensions because we don't have hair of our own, we do it to protect our hair, cos black hair has a crazy mind of it's own. If I don't have a protective style on, I'm gonna be crying whenever I handle my hair cos my forest breaks combs for real.

Yes felt there were extensions, which really took away from the truth of all natural. The moderators voice with natural hair told me cut corners and defrauded something so pure and natural. No extensions a chest!
