“Palpable” is another. “Beacon of hope”, “expression/jaw set with determination” “camaraderie forged in the crucible of” and so many more I can’t recall offhand. I think I’m going to list them whenever I hear them. Those telltale phrases that betrays the AI writing them.

“… but if we can contain this world, it could be a beacon for the council…” There is no way a human HFY character said that. I could see MAYBE if some friendly species were sponsoring humanity to the council, and taming the world would help their case.. the humans would get big dopey grins on their faces, then say, “BIG puppy!” Before walking over to distribute belly rubs like Santa delivers candy.

Overly dry air and major temp changes could be a 'weathering' aspect for a lot of people. And if you are living on mostly spaceships, I'm gonna guess temps would get wonky quickly between say fuel storage, crew quarters, engineering and the like and humidifiers are potentially pretty thin on the groun... space floor to buy.
