When I think of the rasool
The most pious soul
In character, the most beautiful
For the Jinn and men, an example
Ya rasoolallah, ya nabiallah, ishfa li indallah
When I think of Fatima
Sayyidatun nisaa
The mother of her father
The wife of walilullah
Ya Tahira, Ya Radhiya ishfai li indallah
When I think of ya Ali
I can only see
Bravery like no other
Knowledgeable like his brother
Ya Aminallah, ya waliullah ishfa li indallah
When I think of ya Hasan
Hasan the chosen
Generous like his grandfather
In ibadah like his father
Ya Mujtaba, ya noorallah ishfa li indallah
When I think of al Husayn
My heart aches in pain
Lonely on the battlefield
And his men, they have been killed
Ya Tharallah, ya Shaheed ishfa li indallah
