Thanks for this timely word, Bill. I’m a public middle school teacher in Florida. The spiritual war we are fighting is epitomized in our public schools. It’s exhausting. I wonder if it was someone not well known with cancer in the same Er with the same doctor, if he would have done the same. ❤ I'm being left to die and have screamed to the mountain tops for help, and I can't even get in a healing room or in front of an anointed person for healing. I'm holding on to Jesus, my life matters. Glory to be God that someone reads this, that someone, anyone will help. I am in physical torment and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I love you Jesus, please guide my path.
Me too... But I'm just realizing it more each and every time that I spend with my mom as a mature adult… how incredibly and intelligent and gifted and creative she was because When I was a child and a younger doll I thought she was just really crafty… lol
(Mrs.) While listening to this message Holy Spirit really spoke to me. I am a really serious person but God had me write a children's book "September Delight A True Farm Story" published by Christian Faith Publishing. Confirmation that I am fighting the war creatively. Amen
Creativity = freedom and Freedom is very attractive to an oppressed and terrified heart. The testimony of the creation and beauty around us painted and created by our artistic God is proof of His existence to a hungery spirit. The lie and counterfeit the "anti" of God's testimony of Creation is evolution
Creativity, authenticity, reliability: power forces of God. Creating, writing, painting, sewing, drawing, writing songs, etc., works thru which the Holy Spirit flows more greatly thru His Spirit, glorified God & bless others. Singing & joy helps us remember & hold onto our faith longer and and stronger. Good. First artist in Bible was anointed by Holy Spirit to work in metal, paint, cloth, etc.
A preacher asked a church member to open w/ prayer. The man agreed & began: "Oh Lord, you're so good to us, you give us everything we need--food--clothes--this place of worship & w/ all you give we are always falling short. Lord, forgive us our falling shortsl
There's a truth right there in the statement - 'craftsmen in their place of influence apprehending moments for the glory of God'... it is our responsibility to represent Him and bring His presence into places and onto situations so we can cry Glory, Glory, Glory! Thy kingdom come thy will be done!

This was such a good word. I am working as a nurse in the icu of my local hospital and it is definitely a spiritual war zone. I have been very discouraged in my days there. I will add to my prayers regarding this war that He help me see His creativity in me for this hour, this time. Very encouraging. Thank you.
When I am feeling like I just cant face the next hour, week, month your sermons give me courage togo on trusting God. My creativity feels very supressed over this past year or so-it was my spark of God given joy that I could pass on to others. Really feeling spiritually oppressed in Sydney Australia-so much evil seems to be winning at present!

Wow. Speechless. I'm going to do my best to pass some notes from this sermon to my son in jail. I imagine even at age 10 he might have made the cut for creative genius and he was a believer. It seems that God is "rescuing" him and I can't wait to give him some of the fire that I myself feel from these words. God bless you, Bill Johnson and everyone you have quoted here as well. I pray for all of us to end the race well. Always bothers me that Solomon had so much and yet turned to idols at the end of his life. My sons name is Solomon Zoe. If you read this, please pray for him as he exits jail with no place to live, no drivers license, no job, many broken connections. From living under a bridge, addicted, to jail and this would be a likely place to return to. Good news is he has 5 months of being clean, trying to find his way spiritually. Trusting God for some needed miracles and for divine encounters. Thank you.
I had previously heard a message from Dr. Jim Richards about how highly creative children are when tested under the age of 3 and how their creativity drops when tested after the age of 5. What changed? He askes and then tells us: they started school. Let's keep these treasures of creativity God has hidden in us, remain a little child, trusting the Lord. 🙏😇

Education by unbelievers only plants seeds of thorns and thistles in young souls the lies of the devil. The Holy Spirit brings revelation knowledge and true wisdom even to babes
I wouldn't usually consider myself a creative, but shortly after watching this sermon I was reading Psalm 4 and I felt carried along by God to write a short story based on it. That's never happened before, but I'm keen to experience more of the creativity God has placed in me. Thank you God for releasing your spirit on me in this way!

just wow... God is a creative God... Creativity has been the theme in my life..Bill johnson's messages have always inspired me always to think in creativity... in-fact the pandemic time God given idea to me are creating online courses that has creativity as its theme.. creative piano method, creative leadership for children and young adults
God most definitely plants creative ideas in all aspects of life. I've known for a very long time that my most creative ideas were not my own. God is calling me to rely on him more and more these days. It's all for his glory.
Children are at rest trusting their parents . When we rest in the Father and get out of His way & stand with him & trust in His word & faithfulness. Jesus could sleep in the storm because he knew the Father, the promises the voice word would protect. PS 107:20 Jesus is the word sent to deliver us all from destruction & disease. Lord so awesome. The Lord has led me to start a creative connection class from our church for the community ..it is based on art therapy and Holy Spirit leads me to write every class. people are being transformed. Al Glory to God
Unfortunately, education has been removing creativity in schools for awhile now. It's a constant battle to come up with ideas on odd topics and still cover enough memorization and regurgitation to satisfy job requirements. Regurgitation does nothing for the child, but is the way of education. I fight it daily.
Wow. This is powerful. Multiple listens for me because soooo point on for what God is doing in/with me, yet at times I struggled to fully embrace, because cultural experiences said , "Creativity is not done in a time of war." TY for sharing scriptural truth showing the truth of God's Creative gifts are especially for & breathed on by God FOR & DURING times of war & destruction.
The “creative” arts have been relegated as “non-essential” over the past year or so but I maintain they are the vital “embroidery” to our lives-without them we just exist! But God wants us to thrive!

Wonderful words of the Lord, Just happened to go backwards in your messages today felt led to watch this hadn't seen it yet, had missed it,so very glad I did I've been battling this myself as a 62 year old semi retired guy,what now?who needs me? What can I do? We see all of these people of God with ministry and then we look within and don't think we see to much the battle of self worth is fierce and by his grace we still stand and are free to think and create Thank you for this word this morning absolutely touched my heart and my spirit and has given me some renewed strength to believe that God isn't done with any of us and his plan will be done 🙏 bless you all and the best is yet to come.
Thank you for your words-I am a similar age, in a similar situation with strong doubts about my purpose in life despite having been a Christian since my teens. My God given creativity expressed in visual arts mostly has taken a severe battering over the past year especially as I have struggled with levels of depression and anxiety like never before! Bills sermons always help me refocus and recharge my faith, especially today, to trust in the creative process!
i am a creative person: Dance, flagging, writing and sewing and YES BILL IS CORRECT!!! We creatives see ourselves sooooo low and yet Jesus is saying, creative, you are so much more!!!

It's interesting he acknowledges the war we are facing around the world with hints of politics. I was hoping he'd tie it in to the weapons of our warfare. I need to hear that sermon.
In Bill's paperback book entitled Hope in Any Crisis, page107 he gives us a list of four weapons the Lords has given us for spiritual warfare. 1. the blood of Jesus, (Communion), 2.the Word of God, 3. The name of Jesus, 4. Praise. Bill says "these are the four basic weapons that we believers use in our lives to defeat and overcome the assults the enemy brings against us. None of them are focused on the devil, All of them are focused on the provision of the Lord and person of the Lord, Jesus Christ." One of my favorite books and this section is titled, Communion Means War. I won't quote the whole section here but I would highly recommend this book.

You're not. Loving unconditionally is essential. But making room for the sin that destroys is not loving unconditionally. Allowing the devil to steal, kill and destroy is not loving unconditionally.
