37:38 Oh wow now I remember that village we went to Gottam Gutta once passing this village, it looked very different, all red soil, and houses with big red bricks, it felt like we traveled back in time to a different era.

Here after watching the movie. I want to talk about Raju Shivaratri (played Mouli), he has my attention throughout the movie. I don't know if he is really into snakes or mystic things, but he was convincing. His eyes and hair in the movie was amazing, felt like he is into a kind of Shaivism. And interestingly his name consists Shivaratri. He has great facial features. Thanks for the makers for bringing up new talent.

Eppudaina interview chesetappudu regional language lo matladithe at least mana vallu interview chustaru. Meru only english lo cheste you are basically making it for every person accross the world when the whole world don't know/ignorant that you people exist, dani artham reliability factor is missing. So interviews regional language lo conduct cheyyanadi. Ide film companion south lo kannada, malayalam roundtable conference chudandi vallu valla language lo matladtaru mariyu ekkuva views vuntayi. Oka sari alochinchandi ee video ni vere language vadu enduku choostadu popular faces ayithe tappa(even then not everyone cares). Cater to the local because the global doesn't care about you nor emotional relatable or connected to you. This problem is in Bollywood also.

They don't do it consciously, natural ga vallu atlane matladatharu. Edho English lo show off cheyadaniki kadhu. Plus chala vishayalu telugu express cheyadam kaste, English lo oka padam ni telugu lo cheppalante konni sentences lo cheppalsi vastadhi. Ayina valla work lo vade telugu is some of most beautiful sounding telugu, especially their lyrics in songs. So, concentrate on that, rather idiotic trivial shit like this.

a lot of the vocabuluary we use to express our creative thoughts rely on english because its the language most of us are familiar with and using on a day-to-day basis rather than at home or talking to people who speak the same language, not to mention it allows for greater engagement with people who don't speak the same language as us If the fault lies anywhere, its how society has inherently made the study of own's own language beyond basic conversations something to look down at and how that has ended up in it being devalued in educational institutions as well, not with how filmmakers choose to voice out their thoughts in an interview. The last thing I'd want is a carefully curated answer just so it represents the language of the film they've made rather than actually getting their free flowing thoughts.

@@saiashwin26 It sounds like shit for you but you will realize my intention behind this comment one day. I don't consider speaking in English as show off because it is just a language. To be practical I know that it is important to learn both mother tongue and English in India but not at the cost of losing the regional language. If you loose your language you will loose you identity, when you loose your identity you will have nothing of you own, then you start considering other cultures as superior, then you consider yourselves inferior, then you will always be a person asking for the validation from the person whom you consider superior.

OFC Typical Indian response to mention a foreign Cinema to give themselves credence. Just because some Iranian films get praised by White people does not mean Iranian cinema has the hold on auteur driven works in reality most Iranian films are pretty trash. The best ones are great but ofc White people only watch them due to Abrahamic influence and the fact Iran takes a big role in foreign relations due to antagonistic relationship with the west, these same white reviewers would praise our Telugu films if they actually watched them especially are stroy driven films. Another issue is Telugu films have their own culture and story while Iranian films while they may showcase Iranian culture the film culture and techniques are wholly stolen from Americans and Europeans.
@fallingintofilm

what rubbish lol. People across the world watch Iranian cinema not because “Abrahamic influence”. Also Americans and Europeans were the ones who invented cinema. Everyone in the world “stole” from them in that case. Iranian cinema post the revolution is certainly better than Telugu cinema. There’s no point beating your breast about it. Their movies cater to intelligent people and hence will be better than Telugu movies which cater to the LCD of audiences. Not denying that there are great Telugu movies, but comparing it Iranian cinema is ridiculous
