So true! Took me a year to finally see SPS survive and then thrive.

You should do a video with what 2 part you typically use and your thoughts on traces!

If it is a new tank setup I would wait until you see coraline

From day one because sps corals love ammonia more than nitrates

How big is that tank? I’m looking to add a yellow tang, but I’m not sure I should. The display is 24”high 24”deep 36”wide(about 80 gallons) and a sump with all the right equipment. I spent alot of time making a nice rock scape using 70lbs of Marco rock, lots of caves and swim through areas. What do you think? If not, is there any other tangs that might work better? Thanks

About 165 gallons. Tomini tang, kole tang possibly for your tank.

Do you use any real live rock, like from one of the places in florida, to start a new tank?

Are Zoe,s supposed to be reaching up for light ?
@aquariumservicetech2891
@aquariumservicetech2891 21 день назад
They probably could use more light but I want to do it slowly because we just added sps

Depends on the zoa. I have a patch of orange oxides that almost look like flowerpot corals because of the way the stretch. All my other zoas are normal
