From all our trips to iceland, early June seems to be the sweet spot. 24 hours of sunlight, lupines in bloom, puffins and arctic foxes are easy to find, sheep and horses are out and about with their newborns, crowds havent really started yet and it not as expensive as the rest of the summer. For the record, you can see the northern lignts as early as late august and as late as early May. Also there are ice caves you can tour in the summer.
İm planning my trip but dont now when it will be the best. Just want to do few Winter activities and few sommer together so i think those to Months eould be it
Idk if there should be a season on for northern lights since it’s just the suns solar wind blowing towards earth and earths magnetic field protects the earth and the solar wave hitting the magnetic field is the reason the aura (northern lights) appear in the sky
Which months is it balanced like sommer and winter mix. Would it be april/May or September/Oktober. For the Northern Lights it would be the september/Oktober months but bettwr weather would be April/May. What is your oppinion😄?
