A transcription of the melody and solos on "Feels So Good" by Chuck Mangione, with tenor saxophone Chris Vadala. I love this song so much and a lot of Mangione's other music, so I figured I'd transcribe his most popular song. I hope you all enjoy!

This “conversation” reminds me of the early 40-50’s jazz and Gipsy jazz, where the fiddle would combine very sweet with a clarinet in those times, or the trumpet and clarinet

RIP Chris Vadala! Had the pleasure of working with him several times in the summer camps in the DC area. Awesome guy. Pretty hardcore though! Kicked my ass at 12 years old!

I remember learning to play this on trumpet (nobody used a fluglehorn) in middle school band. Probably one of the hardest, yet coolest songs we learned. Sure beats Mony Mony.

0:17 at measure 7 , it’s a G not an A, Chuck made a mistake because 1+2 on trumpet or flugelhorn results in a g with the incorrect air. No, I don’t mean to disrespect him or this song/performance.
