Cole for my perspective has been respected as one of the best of his generation, and of the whole genre of Rap ingenreal. And especially when it comes to mentoring the new comers. An incredible producer, and storyteller, with constant growth on every single project he drops.

Cole is this generations most prolific and significant rapper. And I say that as someone who's bumped KDot since '08. Kendricks songs and albums are heavy and socially necessary/significant, but so are Coles. 4 Your Eyez Only still gives me chills and tears to this day and I'm not even a parent yet. In the end it comes down to who's been there more often and more consistently for the people and community while still putting out fire. The only rapper that can claim that is Cole. On top of that, Kendrick always seems so far away from his fans, while something like this isn't hard to believe Cole doing. It took a LONG time for me to say, but Cole is this generations greatest. His quality and prolificity sets him apart from the pack
