That’s fair. Japan was the First Nation I reach top tier in ground and air. It’s certainly got its painful points but it has some fantastic vehicles at other points. At this stage, I just play the vehicles I love.
As a Japan main since quarantine, I really do like all the attention Japan has gotten as of late. While I don’t have the Thai F-5, I have every single TT vehicle (besides naval), and I will say it is worth. The 11.0 lineup is really good (still quite annoyed that they put the Type 81 in a spot where there is nothing else), and it was the lineup I got my first nuke in. I just hope Japan gets more CAS options soon, because you have either the F-16AJ, the Thai F-5, or the AH-64DJP. That is it.
Lack of CAS makes Japan a very lackluster top tier experience, coupled with a lack of survivability to their tanks. Just so meh. MBTs: Decent mobility, best (but who cares?) reload rate, decent ammunition, bad commender's FoV. SPAAs: Hahaha 90% bad. Apache: Alright. CAS: Godawful. Aside from the Italians who only get one competitive top tier tank, Japan is the saddest top tier lineup. And they will NEVER get better CAS unless they absorb some minor nation into their tech tree, because (thankfully) Japan Self Defence Force.

You can drop the bomb normally without having to use the targeted point by binding a key to disable the target point (it might have a different name in the controls). When you use the targeting mode for the mavericks it locks you into ccrp instead of ccip mode and this keybind will disable the targeted point
Ive been having a blast with this recently. I usually use both aims and pythons, 2 mavericks and a dumb bomb. you can also use the mavericks on helicopters and it works really well if you cant get a lock with your air to air missiles
Justin? It's a bit of a weird request, but could you try out the VFM5 and the Buccaneer S.2? specifically, the Buccaneer S2 with RP-3 rockets that oneshot pretty much anything if you park them on the roof of the tank, and a ballistic calculator to help you do that (day 2)
Japan is so much fun 11.0+, there's quite a few lower br vehicles that are quite fun. I went to Japan from fully completing the British tree so it was nice to have the extra pen and mobility
Absolutely love the TKX(P) for grinding since I have a talisman for it. The AH-64A (AHS, Peten, GR) all have IRCM while some of the D versions do not like the DJP.
@@matts2208 Pretty much, except of course the TKX has better protection (lack thereof) and gen 3 thermals. If only the TKX/Type 10 was faster than the Type 90 in game. IRL its much faster than the Type 90. It's because Gaijin hasn't modeled or fixed the transmission of the Type 10/TKX. Only way to fix it is artificially give the TKX/Type 10 1333 HP instead of 1200 HP.
HI :D!! It would be cool to have the Korea Sub Tech Tree in the Japan tech tree, since Japan has the best tanks and I would love to stop grinding other tech trees and comeback to Japan. Love your content
Mate, what tech trees have you played? Sweden have BY FAR the best top tier tanks. Japan's MBTs have bad commander FoV, mediocre mobility, godawful survivability and protection. So their only gimmick is their fast reload and decent ammunition. When I'm laying Japan, I just go cry in a corner when I see a Swedish Leo2.
This may be a little off topic, but I have a problem and maybe you can help me. There is a constant fps drop in the game and this is between 300 and 15, that's why my game constantly freezes. Does anyone have any information about the source of the problem and its solution?
My only gripe with Type 10. TKX and TKX (P) is how slow they are and when are they going to fix that ultra tracks that turns like there is no tomorrow even at low speed? Even at 11.7 BR i still prefer driving the Type 90s except for sniping maps.
dosent flair or drop after burner dodges all us and german missles but not one can dodge the strella and it’s ends up in 9.3 games all the time the strella needs a nerf
9.3 of every nation gets uptiered to 10.3 almost all the time because of 10.3 premiums. Kinda feels like every br bracket is mostly uptiers sometimes though haha.
@@MozzaBurger88 I’m not a small nations hater. But I don’t know enough about those nations military tech to fix their problems. I do however know a helluva lot about the U.S. and the tech we employ. But the U.S. is obviously and blatantly hamstrung with 90s-2000s tech by the dev team while Germany/russia/sweden all get their most modern vehicles and some of their most modern rounds. Meanwhile the U.S. is currently using SEPV3+ on nearly all operational unit tanks (not training or reserves) and M829A4 which is still “classified” but has been estimated at over 800mm of pen. specifically made to defeat Russian kontakt-5 armor. In game we’re stuck with SEPV2 without improved DU plates or hulls and a round A2 which is mid at best when compared to Russian/german top tier. Sure I’m biased in that I like the US, I deployed twice in 2nd Ranger Batt as an infantryman. I just think we should have stuff that we actually use…

@@Vengeance4308 I don't know if they're that "subpar" from all I've seen so far but they don't forgive bad plays, that, yes. They're very mobile but have relatively poor survivability... And no amount of insane frontal armor is gonna save them from mindlessly rolling sideways in the open. Sure the T-90M is more robust but it has bad depression, slower reload, reverse speed is a nightmare... and a well placed shot on the lower plate, driver port or angled side will cripple it as bad as any Abrams. Playing my Strv I fight both and can't say one vehicle is vastly harder to deal with than the other.
Can you play Bkan 1C in some video? Its swedish 155mm artillery cannon with 3.2 second reload time. I have it on my 10.3 lineup and it performs good. I like to think it as the big brother of meatball launcher (Spj fm/43-44) Oh it has proximity rounds too.
It is regrettable that the Type 81 SAM was raised from 11.0 to 11.3. Three MBTs with 4s reloads, excellent F&F SAM, Thai F-5 with AGM-65, and Japanese AH-64D with 16 Hellfires…
@@JustinPlaysTV Yes, like Strela, Type 93 is more powerful now that image-locking can be used. In the Japanese community including myself, the 11.0 MBT is often said to be the BEST deck :)

What are you playing on? PVE? Cause if you go 110% collective then thats why. It happens to all helicopters that goes over their set collective and only available on PVE.
@@croskerk no friend i play grb with the ah1z and it twitches whenever i lock on a target, it rarely ever stays stable, and when it twitches the missile goes dumb and hits the ground
Crazy that the Mavs have a lock range of 6.5km + but the 12.7+ Russian top tier jets only get 1-3km lock range on their TV guided missiles and bombs, only good long range CAS that Russia can get when it comes to TV or Laser is the OP Su25.
What are you on about? Do you even have the file data to show where this is true? Mavericks depending the seekers have common ground range with other TV/IR seeking AGMs/GBUs. This is specifically the case with Russian munitions too. Russian GBUs and AGMs, which you seem to mention the KAB-500Kr and Kh-29Ts have literally in comparison either comparable track lock on range or better than some US munitions in their respective BRs.
@@josephthebig2889 there are Russian jets and missiles with 11.3 BR that are just simply comparable or better than TV seeker Mavericks, TV mavericks on file and really in game can only lock at 5-6 km range and at times really under, Russian missiles with TV seekers have on file 12km lock on range which can vary under that too. Really only IR mavericks excel at lock on range with 20km lock on range and at 10km range unless you’re in a F-16 or Mach 1 capable aircraft you’re not going to utilize Mavericks like say a Su-25T/39 will at 11.3 with Kh-29s. Only the A-10 Late sits at 10.3-10.7 with IR mavericks and they are not going to do well in most situations pushing 10km with its speed. Russian missiles are simply more efficient, they’re faster and hit harder even with the current maverick buff. Also simply check my WT profile, calling people without even asking for ign is stupid, my ign is the exact same as my YT.
japan looks nice to play to bad gaijin don't want me to play more then one country and japan was not the country i when with for my first one god they need to fix this dam grind but they never will it make them to much money the old play player base it happy with it. They just dont want new players to join the game
