In my experience, He remains here, like a very physical, very relatable presence to assist all in need. I was shocked to feel that He dwells with us and among us. As well as Paramahansa Yogananda; he has created a permanent blessing on this earth plane that we can access for upliftment. They both are very sweet, beautiful and protective souls, always available.

@@angeloiodice9304 I came to know about Jesus Christ and his divinity from my Guru Paramhansa Yogananda only. Since then Jesus Christ is my helper. He saved me many times from my own karmic issues. I know this for sure. He abides in me at all times, in us at times, it is just that when I can not hold on to his awareness that I find life very hard, and when I can hold on to his awareness, I feel power. And I also believe that it's His grace which allows us to keep him in awareness. His grace is beyond my comprehension. Thank You for your kind words. May you and I and all of us can abide in his presence always.

How did you hear his voice was it physical voice or was it in dhyaan

@@Hsinghdeol I heard it loud and clear, as a person present with me during my ordeal. He gave me simple plain instructions to remove myself from my danger. But, He never announced Himself as Jesus. That is the perplexing part of it. He spoke and immediately I knew it was Jesus. But, I never remember actually meeting or hearing Him on a prior occasion. When He spoke, I followed His advice immediately, without hesitation. But, I remember being “totally shocked and flabbergasted.” Like “how is this even possible?” I mean, growing up, I definitely believed that some 2000 years ago he was a great one who did miracles and left a religion and wise sayings for posterity. I believed Him to be a great historical figure, like Caesar, Alexander the Great, Shakespeare, Gandhi, George Washington, et cetera. But, what shocked me to the core was realizing that “HE NEVER LEFT THIS EARTH!!!’ He remains here for us. I realized His love, compassion and mercy. I realized that you don’t have to be Christian to receive Him. I studied and enjoyed, eclectically, a vast array of religions, methods and traditions. Also, He did not care that at one point I gave up on Him. I even put Him down in my rebellious teenage years when I was searching. He just does not care!!! He only cares about NOW!!! And, He did not come to me as a “GREAT GOD.” He did not tower over me. He came to me eye level. Like my equal, but just a little older, like an older brother or a concerned friend. But, I heard His Voice, and, more so, felt His Presence. But, the image was less. The image seemed to be formed by “The Presence.” So, I was left with an image, but His Presence was superior to His image and Voice. I hope that helps. Words never give justice to these matters.

@@gerry141159 I would have had the same reaction as you, had it not happened to myself. And, I am a very sober person who never drank nor took drugs. I was a court reporter in New York City for 40 years. It is discipline, a job, that requires great concentration in the moment of now in order to focus and write language at sometimes 300 words per minute. I was in India as a court stenographer creating a court record for an arbitration in Bhubenesshwar, India. After the many days of Arbitration, I started trekking the Himalayas. It was difficult breathing in the high altitudes and I was not used to such exertion. I ran into problems of survival by myself. In a moment of desperation for survival, I became helpless. And, Jesus spoke to me. How did I know it was Jesus. I just knew. I never prayed to Him. I was not a dedicated Christian I studied and enjoyed all religions and gurus. But, it was undoubtedly Him. Instant recognition. He instructed me. I followed Him immediately. I got to safety. He came like a person, a friend, an older brother. Not a God at all. He came physically, like He just never left the earth, and is here as a common everyday “Joe” to help out those in need. I was shocked. Why me? I am no Christian; I never go to Church, and I still don’t go to Church nor call myself a Christian. It has nothing to do with religion or spirituality. It is just that somehow He once existed, and survived annihilation, and decided to stay here to pick up those in great need, crisis. I used to hate Christians. Argued with them. I called them sentimental, delusional fantasy mongers. I thought that they were fools. I really disliked them. But, even now, I am not really a Christian, buying into the religion. I just know, as sure as I am alive, that He is here, because I met Him. That’s all I know. I suddenly became aware of Jesus Christ. He is extremely cool, understanding, non-judgmental. Never enlisted me into a church. Just let me know that He is available and fully alive, present, here and now. And, may I drop dead and croak here and now if I embellished my account in any way whatsoever. In fact, I understated it.

You are extremely fortunate to meet Jesus Christ and to become a loving soul. Congratulations!!!

The original usage in all three New Testament verses reflects a derisive element in the term Christian to refer to followers of Christ who did not acknowledge the emperor of Rome. Jesus is full of light

I totally agree. Yeshua was not European.

I don’t think it really matters. When he comes to you, all you feel is peace, power, love and light. I have no memory of His skin color, or hair color. For me, His voice was matter-of-fact, confident, inviting, comforting, non-confrontational, gentle, warm, kind. But, skin pigmentation and hair and eye color, I have no memory of. I have normally fairly light skin, but when I moved to a hot Asian country, my skin became so dark, people gasped. Maybe He had different skin color at different times, depending on His exposure to the sun. Hair comes and goes. Some people lose their hair or shave their heads. So, then I guess if hair is missing, brown, black or blonde doesn’t really matter anymore. And, also, hair can be bleached lighter by the sun. Some have straight, or oily, or curly hair, a fro. I just can’t see how Jesus’s hair was makes a difference in how He saves your soul. Not even sure if he combed His hair, had dreadlocks, a Dutchboy cut, shampooed, blow dried, slicked back like Elvis Presley, military crew cut. Not sure if he paid much attention to His grooming, nor if he wore makeup. Probably not. Probably too concerned with being One with the Father and Holy Spirit, raising the dead, forgiving sinners, healing, loving, saving, praying. Also, probably not very good mirrors back then, a lake, polished metal. As for eye color, I guess that is pretty fixed. Except, if He could raise Lazarus from the dead, He probably could change His eye color, with all colors of the rainbow, a new color every day to match His wardrobe. Again, I have to plead the fifth on what He wrapped around His body and called clothing. I get the sense that with only 33 years to reform the past, present and future, probably just wore a hand-me-down, and just didn’t care about His wardrobe. Probably not an Italian designed tunic or toga. Probably not dyed purple, which was reserved for royalty. And, a “most-wanted” guy like that, on everybody’s hit-list, He probably didn’t want to stand out in the crowd with some outrageous outfit with fancy trim. We do know that the only bit of comfort the Savior gave himself was a footbath, with a little oil because His feet were probably bone dry from walking in the burning hot sand. Probably wore some sandals. Not sure if the leather was from cow, sheep, goat, snake. Who knows? Anyway, all the minor incidentals about His appearance, even whether He was short or tall, Hollywood good-looks, or an average-looking guy, I just can’t see how it makes any difference whatsoever. All I know is that He saves souls.

The fact that he's shown as a white guy with light brown skin and sometimes blue eyes is indicative of the bias that Europeans and European Americans have. Christ is really beyond form, but for some of us, it's easier to "love God with all your heart" if God takes a form. And that's what he did when he incarnated as Jesus. God bless.

@@josephvalyakalavil595 The literal source of your existence is grace. The intelligence the beats your heart is the divine. The breath that is in you is the divine. You aren’t in a place to speak as an authority on God, as you’re clearly very experienced in these understandings so far. Jesus said “If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light”. He’s quite literally telling you that if you just leave your thoughts alone and stop thinking with a dual eye and entangling yourself in your own nonsense, your body will be full of light on it’s own. This is a Vedic technique. “Advaita Vedanta” or “Non-duality.” And the physical location of this single eye is in the brain, the pineal gland. If it is single and without calcification, it will secrete DMT. This is the “land flowing with milk and honey”. The yogic culture calls it “Amruta” or “Ambrosia”. This happens on its own in the body when the proper awareness is there. But you don’t yet have ears to hear. False humility is pride, my friend. And it’s the ugliest kind of pride there is.

He taught that divinity is within you, not outside. Not in the sky. So seek within. Obey his instruction. It is not pride, but the opposite. It is completely surrendering all your pride and ego, so that God can reveal His indwelling presence. You will discover that your pride and ego are nothingness, false, and that which truly exists within and animates your very being is the Lord. So be a true Christian.
