the first guy is still part of the group. he’s still their producer and songwriter. he still gives his part, he just isn’t on stage. they’re still a trio, just not on stage.

I can't believe a mum being so selfish that she won't immediately say "YES, GO AHEAD!" to her daughter, instead of breaking down right in front of her daughter making her feel guilty of her decision.

The daughter is playing the role of the mother, 100%. On the surface their relationship looks fun and great, but it seems to me like the daughter is going to have a hard time progressing in life if she is constantly thinking about her mothers over the top emotions. Underneath the surface they have quite a co-dependant relationship. The mum is probably gonna have a hard time letting her spread her wings and be independent. The mum just seems to lack emotional maturity and is actually quite emotionally manipulative. She’ll end up pushing her daughter away eventually if she keeps behaving like this. The daughter will end up having enough with the drama and emotional meltdowns. Totally toxic relationship.

The first group have my support all the way. The producer of the group has my full respect aswell for putting his pride aside and agreeing to let his two buddies perform while he works on the music they sing. Even if he's not on stage he's still as valuable as the other two singers/rappers. Also that just shows how strong their friendship is. The mother daughter duo on the other hand : the mum is a bit childish and quite selfish, to risk blowing a great singing opportunity for her daughter who has the talent to be a recording artist, just cos she wants to be in the spotlight too. It's almost the equivalent of parents putting their kids into pageants and child acting as a means to live a life of fame through their kids on top of boosting their own shallow egos.

No matter how rude the man can be, Simon always knows exactly what he's talking about

The daughter's voice I LOVE, just her pitch and tone and I'm not an expert on vocals but I love it

The first person who got split from their group, I felt so bad for him. His face just says that he’s trying not to cry, but he’s the producer and songwriter so I don’t think he’s kicked out of the trio.

That's a narcissistic parent right there. She has a toxic overbearing relationship with her daughter. She's trying to be more than just her mum, she's trying to be the Only One. It's hard to watch her literally hold her daughters face and force her to feel bad. She's not a good mum.

We can't blame the mom for crying as much as she did. She's still human and it was her dream. Going by their ages, she had her daughter at (depending on their birthdays) 19 or 20. We don't know what she gave up and put on the back burner to give her daughter life and there relationship days a damn hell of a lot more about her than a few edited clips. Of course she's going to be hurt and maybe even humiliated. I'm sure she's thought about being too old, too big, too whatever to follow her dreams after having a child and she kind of had to face reality at that point. I think she's being harshly and unfairly criticized. It's not like she told her daughter she couldn't or even shouldn't go or even had a "what about me" moment. She was conflicted -- heartbroken for herself and elated for her daughter. Give her a break.
