Glad you're back. Would love to see some Stormsurge gameplay. The item itself doesn't do too much damage unless the enemy team is hard stacked but the magic pen is insane. Stormsurge Shadowflame Sorc Shoes and you have 45 pen. Most champs won't even have that much MR by the time you get those items, and if they do it's not much more. You're basically doing true damage at that point. Disgusting midgame power spike right now.
I swear the item is terrible unless you're the ONLY magic damage on your team and even then I'm not convinced... If they build any amount of MR your itemization is just so fucked because you're forced to go void staff and even then you'll end up doing way less damage than any other build at that point IMO
@@NeglectBDOI’ve been spamming the build and I heavily disagree. 45 MR after first 2 items and boots is insane. Even if they build Maw or Banshee’s first item that’s still over 50% magic pen. Against most people though you’ll be doing true damage. Massive snowball potential in the mid game.
