Khabib's style lets him throw as wild and sloppy as he wants because even if you rock him, rushing in for the finish gets you taken down and strangled. Pure strikers cannot seem to beat this style.

This was like textbook of importance in level change. 1st round takedown Khabib had to work for it cuz Conor actually had good takedown defense, but once that overhand from takedown motion landed the following single leg got in much cleaner.

all it done was unbalanced him when he bent his knees to defend take-down and still regained control immediately defended and responded with a knee to the head and took it to the fought round with barely any damage even Khabib's ground and pound was missing most of the punches while Rogan was saying he was smashing him when really it was 1 out of 3 actually connecting.
