I don't know who I'd like in coop, but that's because I'm almost always the healer and I prefer to play as kuki because of the 100% healing uptime and I get enough to not need to dodge most attacks. After that I would prefer kokomi or a self healing characters like neuvillete and dehya so I just don't die that easily 😊.
For me, Baizhu is my favorite healer when doing coop. I have Baizhu and most of the time, I act as the healer and applying reactions for the team. I always looked at my teams HP to keep them in check since it's my role as the healer in the team. Since I am using Prototype Amber R5 and have an amount of ER for the burst, it's really helpful.
As a kokomi main.. I must say.. Being a Healer is quite tricky yet satisfying. I had this moment with Azdaha once. Where 2 of us died on his first stomp.. And we were left with me and Yelan. At this point.. I forgot about atk.. And dedicated myself entirely to healing.. Positioning her skill while timing her burst.. While making sure u don't die urself. That yelan sure trusted me as she charged like a bull will no fear.. 😂 So I put my trust on her as well.. That she can take the boss down. The Battle was quite long.. The other 2 didn't leave.. Infact cheered on the whole time.. We won. The feeling was great. Healers don't usually have remarkable damage.. But they're not just swishing in the corner.. Rather Making sure you all live to see the end of it 🤣🤣

Not as a healer, but I joined coop once with my support built Thoma because Hu Tao and Klee spots were taken (full pyro team was requested). It felt nice when other players were excited to see Thoma. Even if his dmg was low 😅 Your text at the end reminded me about that situation. Yup, playing as support means missing out dealing big numbers but supports are needed too ^^ Currently, my favourite healer is Baizu. I have Barbara and Yaoyao too, but I like perks of Baizu (gathering flowers gives hp). He nicely supports my Alhaitham and I really enjoy using him with Neuvillette.
This video's title and thumbnail popping up in my recommended startled me because about a week or two ago I did this domain as Kokomi and the party had a Venti and a Neuvillette. xD
Call me old fashioned but I always use healers that heals the entire team without them having to get closed to me whenever I’m in coop (like barbara, qiqi, and Baizhu). I’m always afraid of getting hit so the best thing I can do is sustaining the health of my team while staying at a safe distance 😅 Kokomi’s skill can limit that. Her burst is insane, but I still trust my good ol Barb and Qiqi.
Foe me it's Kokomi, Qiqi and Baizhu, if I go in co-op as a healer. But again, I have a superb built Kokomi who either uses HP or hydro goblet, a physical Qiqi and a Baizhu on Favonius Codex, so, they all add some extra utility whether it be damage (Kokomi ult on cooldown and phys Qiqi with clam) or energy and dendro res shred (deepwood + Favonius Baizhu). And occasionally I play Bennett in co-op, but mine is C6
Honestly I think it’s a skill in itself to die when you play as Neuvellite; if you have enough energy recharge you can basically survive anything because you are never too close to the boss either so not getting hit or dodging is not an issue. His heals are also so OP it’s kind of nuts
I'm perplexed too lol. As a Neuvillette main, how did you die with pretty much endless self heals you'll get from his elemental skill and burst?? But wait, I see the Neuvillette in this video with red ping, maybe that's why 🤔
As a Kokomi main, my favorite battle was one time when the 2 DPS died and it was just me and Layla left. Even though we were doing chip damage, the boss couldn't hurt us in a way that mattered. The dead DPS cheered us on until we eventually won.
I love bringing amber to this fight because she has her utility as a ranged character and is capable of soloing the third half by herself (I've memorized the patterns so I can go multiple cycles without taking damage). I've only died once in this fight in dozens of co op games; we had a novice Bennet player and you can guess what happened next.
@@kyoshisfan4053 I'm on the NA server. Not that I'm that good. I just like playing my archers including Amber and don't really care if I suck at it. This boss is the only one I am competent at I co op, lol.
I used to bring my Wanderer into co op, because he easily gave the highest damage out of any of my characters. But because often people like to bring their dps's, I would have no shield/interruption resistance for him, & I would often die or barely survive (usually with him I use my Layla) because Im not the best at dodging. Now I usually use my Layla in co op, because her constant cryo application & 100% uptime on her shield if I time it correctly, she can be very good at support. Sure, the most Ive seen her do is 3000 damage, but thats not what she's for, & I have to say I have more fun in co op as Layla than I did as Wanderer.
This is truee, when i co op domains i usually get to use Kokomi, Bennet or Shenhe cause i want a balanced team, so i dont really have the opportunity to play Scara or Hu tao XD But for me its honestly fun playing either Shenhe or Kokomi
I totally agree with letting people play their support characters, and that they are very underrated. I personally dont mind being dps or support, but I will say being stuck as the support when everyone goes dps is a bit annoying. I will say that even though it can be annoying at times I’d much rather play a support then be the main dps, especially with newer players. I’m someone who likes to co op a lot and I’ve noticed when newer and/or lower AR players have high AR players join them they see how much dmg they do and feel useless in comparison. I’ve definitely felt that way when I was a lower AR and its no fun. Support characters keep everything balanced in a team, whether its your main team, co oping domains, co oping bosses, etc.
I don't often play co-op, but my 3 most built characters are Layla (C1), Kokomi, and Hu Tao. 50k HP, 4 piece tenacity, crowned shield Layla. Takes quite a bit to break even the co-op shield. On-field DPS build Kokomi with 7.5k healing ticks (of course, with the donut, since I love Kokomi). I love playing all 3, so I'll just play whatever is needed.
Do you prioritize any other stats for layla's artifacts other than HP% and HP? I am planning to use her in the same team as dps yanfei for shield and melt reaction, but I am confuse with how I am going to build her. She needs HP, and based on guides, ER is also great for her. Since she will work with yanfei, EM might also work, while crit stats will add her damage during her shield duration (plus I am planning to use favonius sword with her so crit rate is important). All of these considerations make me feel overwhelmed while farming for her artifacts, I would appreciate some helps if you have any advice 😊
@@yereveluvies I did just straight HP. I'm not worried about her damage for a reverse melt, since even if built as DPS her damage is very lacking. Before I got Hu Tao for my pyro DPS I also used her on a DPS Yanfei team. Cryo application isn't all that great due to the time between the shooting stars, so may want to add a second cryo to the team if you want to go with melt. Straight HP with 4 piece tenacity for the additional buff works great for me. All pieces are HP% with HP% substats on flower and feather
I'm a Kokomi main myself and omg thank u sm for appreciating us. But I've played enough Co-op with so much toxicity when healers "don't do their job well" for me to just stop co-oping altogether 🤧
4:52 when i do coop i always use my mona since i build her burst damage properly and i can buff team damage Yes bennett probably do better but i perfer her more
I remember using Kokomi in Azhdaha co-op. I was hell in a pressure to keep my teammates alive during my burst because all of us have its seal and we just did the ungga bungga on the last phase 😂
Usually, when I join co-ops, I will bring out a healer (yao yao, bennett, barbara). Most of the players I play with are of a lower level, so they tend to die more easily (speaking from personal experience). They also don’t have NRE so a healer is important for them so bringing one is always useful. - Yaoyao’s skill will shoot radishes at the closest enemy and if you’re near enough, you’ll receive healing at the same time. Her burst can heal everyone in the party, with proper builds, she can heal everyone to max health while dealing damage. But she generates dendro cores very easily, so fighting against anything pyro is pretty much a hazard. - My Barbara is fine but her damage is pretty bad (like 2-digits at level 50), so I use her only if the other player(s) have a dps or just any character with decent damage at least. Good thing about her is that when her skill is activated, she has (I think) slightly less than 20 sec to heal everyone every time she hits an enemy. Her burst has also got the widest range of healing and (I’m pretty sure) can heal everyone in the party to max health. - Bennet is just good. He can provide good damage and good healing. His burst can heal everyone to 80% health, and his skill provides pyro damage for a short CD. Only con I can think about is that his burst range is pretty small, so walking to the burst area every time can be a little annoying. Healers are one of the most important role of a team. Self-healing characters are good, but a healer that can heal across the team is better, especially against a boss. Many players will blame a healer if they die, but sometimes, the healer’s skill and/or burst is just not ready yet. Players also need to understand that they have to try their best to dodge attacks. Just because someone brought a healer doesn’t mean you are invincible. Also, don’t insult a healer just because they don’t deal a lot of dmg. Most healers heal based on their max health, so builds based on healing alone won’t prioritise stuff like crit dmg, crit %, attack… . Healers are there to ensure you stay alive to defeat the enemy. Love healers guys. Their job isn’t easy.
At first I played support characters because my dps didn't do enough damage, but now I recognize that it is one of my favorite roles. Maybe because I'm also a healthcare worker in real life, but I usually choose healers when I do co-op. Barbara is one of my favorites (even though I try to build her as dps), but depending on the enemies I also choose Jean, Qiqi, Sayu or Yaoyao. Kuki is my least favorite healer for coop since I have to be very close to the other players and I always get stressed xD I also really like Layla and Bennet as supports and I have yet to build Diona and Dori. Which is quite ironic since my party when I'm in my world is called Corpse Party due to the high number of deaths.
Consideing my full EM Kokomi for Bloom heals 4k ticks, I have to wonder if this was a level 60 Kokomi without artifacts or something to heal 2.5k ticks.
You know, if we had a Weapon for each Weapon Type that works exactly like the Prototype Amber, I would use it on my DPS Character if it means I can still heal my Team in any way while I do not completely remove my Role as a DMG Dealer.
