That thing about paper toilet I (brazilian here) had to take time to get used and since then (13 years ago) I never use bin in the bathroom. And about security, we are so paranoid about that if even we go to Groenland we could feel unsafe there. On the other hand, we can survive easily in shity places (we are well trained in the streets of Brazil). My first time in Berlin I also had the same idea about not paying public transportation. And I think this is shared by all brazilians (or 99%). hehehe But then, after seing people get fined for not paying ticket ... I changed my mind very quickly. Thank you for the video! Muito obrigado por mais um bom video!

is Brazil really so dangerous?
@nite_crow
@nite_crow 2 месяца назад
@@doctorflynn5124 Depends on the state/city. Cartel level? No we do not have cartel contrary to popular beliefs, there are gangs like the US and 2 of the big ones works like a Mafia, Yakuza members sometimes get arrested in São Paulo state and that's because SP have the biggest Japanese community outside Japan, I grew in an inner city in SP state which has a lot of Japanese people so sometimes I look silly bending over when I say thanks cause I got used to it. North states are usually dangerous because they're a little disdained by the federal govt, they are very under developed compared to southeast/south Brazil where almost half of the population lives. In the southeast the most dangerous city is Rio but it's mostly fine if you avoid the favelas, you should still be careful with your phone on ur hands cause criminals that lives in favelas send minors in groups to snatch it from your hand and run away. Armed robbery happens here and there but nothing different than you'd see in NYC for eg. Also: No not every Brazilian would try to "cheat" the public transportation that is a very shitty thing to do, I'd never ever would try anything like that.

@@doctorflynn5124 Yes it is. Almost every Brazilian I met when I travelled there had been the victim of violent crime. It is pervasive and people are vigilant at all times. I had never seen electro shock fences until visiting Brazil.

Be beware of the ticket thing, though. Sometimes, at least in other parts of Germany, there are controllers on the trains and busses. And then, if they catch you without a ticket, you are in trouble. At first, you will have to pay 60 Euros. But if you continue and. get caught, you might eben become a criminal offender. And stealing stuff from the neighbor actually IS considered stealing by the German law....You were lucky that the man did not call the police. You usually have to sign the form when you take the stuff from the postman....

I'm Brazilian and I hate thecno. There are safe places in Brazil. Classic joke in Brazil when we find a bread like that: If I hit your had with this bread, it can kill you. At the meeting, there was no hug or a girl and two kisses. I missed that. "Jesus". It's not so commom name here. "Jesus" didn't feel cold. Maybe a Brazilian would feel it in Germany. I friend of mine, give two kisses in an elderly lady in England. 😂😂😂😂😂 She said: 'You're not from here, are you? His boss, a British man, almost died and he apologized. But she liked it. 😂😂😂😂😂 We Brazilians are more affectionate. This video is great.

I agree that Spanish is very similar to Portuguese, and I don't mind if someone speaks in Spanish with me and says "it's almost the same..." However when you say that German and Dutch are similar, both German or Dutch don't like it... They don't even like to say that German from Austria and Germany are the same...

Germany and Europe really this safe??? The news for the last 10 years talks about how dangerous it is especially for woman getting attacked by immigrates who don’t respect woman and or the European culture. Would really like to know? In America can relate to not wanting to ask questions to cops, they don’t like civilians (even though they are civilians too) at all. Sad but true 😢

All the medium and big cities in Brazil (and there are thousands), and even the majority of small towns have adequate sewage and plumbing, and there's no need to keep a bin for toilet paper. I don't understand the brazilians that agree with this video in that point, and I personally strongly disagree with the postman scene, as the great, great, great majority of brazilians would safely keep the package for the neighbour, or not accept it. People from other nationalities may not believe or understand this, but, oddly, many brazilians seems to enjoy depreciating their own country, perpetuating wrong stereotypes. In fact, they really don't know how a really bad place to live is like.

Very nice sketch. As a Brazilian I recognize some of the situations. To throw used toilet paper in a bin still hapens in some places because of bad plumbing even in big cities. Very common go to a pub or other public facility and find a warning to not throw de toilet paper in the toilet 😀😀
