I dont know if i pull Lyney or Yelan... he is so strong, but with many units in my account i really dont see yelan a must pull.. but also can be good... i still thinking lolll
From this verskon I have everyone except Lyney, but I don't really want him anyways. His design is cool and he's a strong DPS, but I need Venti and Neuvilette. Good luck everyone with their pulls tho!❤
Yeah people seem to have the idea that his ult works kind of like sayu skill. If its against just one enemy you just spam em skill right after ult gets used. Two huge numbers will pop up.
Yes the best combo for Lyney would be 4 charge shots to get 4 stacks --> Burst to get the 5th stack and immediately cancel if there is only 1 enemy --> Skill to consume all stacks.
I just wanna remind y'all that thsi is Lyney WITHOUT his signiture set or his passive active, since his pyro application isnt lasting on the enemy, which means he isnt getting a 60% damage boost (and the rest of the party members don't have atleast 2 Pyro, so he isnt getting 4)% damage boost either)
Just letting you know, lyney's ascension 4 passive gives him 60-100% extra damage if the enemy is affected by pyro, which means it's better to play him in mono pyro rather than vaporize or melt. Just letting you know
not full Mono Pyro, 3 Units can be Pyro, the other characetr can be any element (Dendro wont be too bad, since burning is lasting Pyro application, which will boost Lyney's damage by 60%, but it's better to use a healer like Kuki or Kokomi, Kuki probs better than kokomi cuz uptime for his artifact set)

When i got lyney i was expecting like 50k something since he only had lvl 1 talents and was at lvl 60-70 when doing scara boss,but this guy did 128k (this was my first time hitting more than 100k aswell and i wasnt expecting a lvl 1 talent character to be able to do it 😂) and im never going to regret pulling him, hes very worth the primos edit- his burst just did 219k with 7/5/7 and his ca did 108k.. Im speechless because the artifacts set i have on him is 2pc crimson 2pc shimenawa and hes only been out for like 4 days
same, even with Lavawalker set while I wait for his bis set he is hitting like a truck. As a Ganyu user and vape hutao enjoyer, he does not fall behind at all and he is only at level 70 and talents at 6/6/6 while Hutao and Ganyu have bis weapons and gear. Also he is the first on field character that actually makes Xiangling a support, Childe enables Xiangling and while she is a sub dps on Lyney team she enables/supports his passives wonderfully for more damage for him. Too bad people dismissed him long ago and will always call him mid because of no reactions.

@@res6148 The problem is that so many people are so obsessed with reactions they want to dismiss everything else. Also many guide makers have been saying how good he is but people comment on those videos talking about how other content creators say he is mid. These people who say he is mid are sheep who follow "meta slaves" in quotations because if they call Lyney mid they know nothing (not saying Lyney is the most meta but he is as strong as some meta teams from what I have seen myself with him) and they probably don't even have him. Also, so many people don't want to believe a male character can be a really strong dps especially since many people who call him mid also insult his appearance so it is really telling, they want to protect their poor Ganyu and Hutao lol. My favourite teams are Ayaka freeze, Hutao vape and hyperbloom and my slightly unleveled Lyney is keeping up compeltely even in an abyss that has not yet reset to suit him like some other 5 stars get when their banners are up. I seen so much Lyney doomposting before his release so people had a pre-conditioned negative view. Also those who see this video won't know that Lyney;s kit is at a disadvantage here so he is actually much stronger.
@@res6148He's not mid but your points are also flawed. Vermillion works perfectly fine with Lyney since he can fully make use of the full set. He's also made for mono pyro team so obviously he'd do alot of damage even without reaction. Also idk why you had the need to mention that you have an off piece pyro goblet like it matters. But regardless, he's not mid at all. He's really good in his niche.
that's why i don't understand why ganyu mains are gatekeeping and some even hated lyney. There's literally someone existed that is a counterpart of their favourite char where could use their CA playstyle in another element like WTF? they should be happy.
@@OreoGoddoh Both of them are amazing, but there are many team compositions that could benefit from Yelan's assistance. So, if you already have a strong DPS, I would recommend choosing Yelan. She excels in almost all situations!
Mine is lvl 70, talents lv.5 or 6, decent but not amazing artifact on Lavawalker set, and deals 35-45k. Btw i can stack his skill up to 5 sometimes if he is getting consistently healed... i think that's the max. Can't wait for both of us to unlock his full potential and build an amazing Lyney!! I fell in love with Lyney's playstyle in trial. But I'm saving for Tartaglia in my main acc, and in my 2nd acc, I was gonna pull Yelan cause I only have pyro and cryo teams there and only one hydro... which is Barbara. :') I was on hard pity with my last single pull. I pulled... in Lyney's Banner... and I got him. I couldn't lie to myself lol. I really like him. Plus, Yelan was my first 5* in my main acc anyway. So I've been playing her the longest. I created a 2nd acc to play characters I can't play in my main acc. So Lyney was the right choice. And knowing he works the best in a mono-pyro team works the best for me who can't play reactions. :D
@@TenTimesTwiceGo for constellations and weapons if you're looking for dmg... More characters is not equal to fun, just go all out for your fav character it's better
Use sac bow on Yelan to see how much you like the double skill. Check what you'd change in your Yelan's build if you got her C1 since her ER requirements will be lower (I think it's 140 ER with Xingqiu, 180+ solo hydro). Try out Lyney a lot in the test run and see how much you like him. Also keep in kind how close you are to pity, how many wishes you have, if you're saving up for the next banners, etc. You can plan out your wishes that way. For example if you have enough wishes you could try a 50/50 on Lyney and if he doesn't come then you get your guaranteed on Yelan, or vice versa. But if you win the 50/50 on Lyney you could try the other 50/50 on Yelan. Some people also give characters a "value", in this case it's how many of your pulls you're willing to give for a character (while also considering pity). For example if you have 100 wishes you could split them between Lyney and Yelan and then decide who you'd spend your pulls on first. Or spend 30 wishes on one, and 70 on the other, etc. Anyway, I wish you good luck on your wishes

yelan is good too,TBH she is not even a man DPS she is more like a sub DPS and is more flexible and easy to use than lyney, yelan is better than lyney as a team. But for solo Lyney is better
I think that Yelan player either was not lucky getting either of the bows in the weapon banner OR must have strange luck in their artifact upgrades if you know what i mean XD
