I know that, however let us not pretend that race isn't still a massive factor among many Western Europeans due to racial insecurity, miseducation of the history of blacks or ignorance. I think my original point was to say that Balotelli wasn't solely to blame for this incident. Also, Balotelli was subjected to unbelievable, uncivilised treatment by so many so-called "civilised" Italians since he was a little child. DO I agree with how he behaves, NO. I know there are many players who have wasted their talent but this guy was expected to be one of the best in PL and in Italian football too. Even players like Hazard and Coutinho still played for top clubs and are playing in top leagues or the top divisions of top leagues. Mario degraded like anything and vanished from the footballing scene suddenly. This guy had an impact when he was at the top and could have rose even more

Balotelli is walking away at the behest of his coach and avoiding confrontation but Rio is the one insisting on dragging him by the shirt and shouting in his face.
