I grew up watching Brazil's Ronaldo, Beckham, Zidane, Scholes, Raul, Nedved, Bergkamp, Henry, Del Piero, Davids, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo... and many more legends and none are on the same level as Messi. By age 26, Messi had already win 4 x Ballon d'Ors. He was regarded as the GOAT by age 28 and completed football at age 35. His achilles heel was Argentina which he had to carry in the 2014 World cup. He stayed in the national team in his thirties and was rewarded by winning the Copa America and World Cup whilst most of the legends mentioned above would have retired by then. When Messi retires, the world will only realize his true greatness as the one and only footballing GOAT for club and country.
