Johnson is the best mma artist in history. He defeated the entire roster of UFC fighters and then some. It got boring for the fans and himself. Dana had the best and he let him go.
Getting hit by a Muay Thai practitioner is knowing how it feels to get hit by a bat. Broken bones are known to happen. getting hit by Rodtang is not something I would like to experience. Demetrius is amazing.
I trained with some of the AMC guys back in the 90's . Traditional MT has been a part of that lineage since day one . Humes , Smith , Paulson, etc . They had an old timer named Luzshin (sp) that was born and raised in Thailand . So I don't think MM was struggling with it being a strict MT round , I think it was mostly because it was modified rules if I'm correct? That it's it F$%king Rodtang after all. Was a great fight , both had a lot to lose but they went for it anyhow .
Didn't look like Rodtang was getting nearly as much done in round one as the narrator said. He was perfectly allowed to use all of his Muay Thai in round two. It was just proved worthless against Johnson and he got crushed. Just what everyone would expect to happen.

Why is everything Trump sells is made in China and not America. When Americans were sick during the Pandemic and Hospitals were in need of ventilators and supplies he instead sent millions of dollars of equipment to Russia because America is not First for Trump.
This shows what one of the very best Muaythai fighter against a very good but not the best MMA fighter leads to. The two arts are worlds apart. Please don’t get me wrong, I have big respect for the mma fighter. He’s not only extremely talented but a good guy.
