Personally I'm glad you weren't on the red carpet, cause you're better then those people. You're just like the rest of us, a person who worries about bills and mortgages, birthdays and anniversaries, your family and friends, and you also manage to bring so many people joy and laughter. Yeah me too this have been the only two songs I’ve paid for because it meant something it was for a good cause, and sometimes we do good not to get recognition by other but to help those that needed. When we do something good and get recognition then it never feels the same

As a girl that grew up in the industry, I agree whole heartedly. The music industry (the entire entertainment industry actually) is not nearly as glamorous as people think. The industry is grueling, cold, and incredibly impersonal. Just because the music industry sucks it doesn’t mean that you guys aren’t cherished by who matters the most- REAL people. Thank you for all that you did with your songs and for all of the warmth and laughter that comes with your videos.
The difference between you and them is we don’t just love what you have done for your charity we also follow you because of the people you are,them other artists can’t say that because truth is there only liked for there music not as people xx
Celebrities just give it lip service, u guys actually went out and made a difference to ppl. You gave them the ability to feed their kids, nothing is more important than that.

Wanted to add. When my mom died in October 2019 all I could do was cry. But when you guys made Christmas #1 I was so excited and your videos (especially with Pheonix) made me laugh and smile despite my broken heart. Thank You. No celebrity was able to do that for me. .

I believe a lot of the lack of proper attention you, your songs, and your cause has failed to garner from the "industry" has to do with the fact you have proven once and for all the "industry" is slowly but surely dying in its current form (e.g. albums, studios, etc.) Everyday more and more people are turning to independent online artists who, much like you, have ZERO need for all the expense and headaches that managers, studios, etc. cost the artists. Much like Napster nearly killed the industry in the 90's, RU-vid, Vimeo, Instagram, etc. are killing it now. Unfortunately, while you are both inspirations to independent artists and creators, you are also a symbol of the coming end to the Industry's cash cow which, given the average age and lack of technical or creative thinking of most in the upper echelons, has little chance of stopping the likes of you and your millions of supporters. Keep up the good fight, you are truly wonderful, caring, and loving folks who are a much needed inspiration to us all. God bless!

Not sure you understand what 800k subscribers means if you think that is a 'nobody'. They are more famous than most 'celebrities' and have achieved the same amount of number 1 hits as the person who headlined the brits awards.
It’s sad when you have people sat in the back who have two Christmas number ones and it’s for charity. Like that’s an actual achievement that will be remembered every Christmas. It deserves so much more recognition than it’s getting. And then up at the front winning best album or something performing is usually some teenager who learns they only need that one number one to buy them everything they want and just end up being one hit wonders we never see again. So you’ve got two number 1s for charity. Or 1 club hit that’s remix probably did better. There’s no competition who should be shown recognition by the industry.
