Abuse and control is when you walk on eggshells because one day theyre nice and the next theyre controlling, demanding, mean, abusive. The minute he scared that toddler & broke her toy was the minute the wife takes the child & leaves. You never put a child through that. And at the 1st 5 years, their brain is a sponge. Her personality is being formed. Her fears are being formed and set. You destroy who 5he child could become as an adult. You traumatize them. Fiction. Or not, i get angry at the weak, naive female characters.
That James character is disgusting. He's a lazy bum, and a misogynistic bully. It's sad to believe that these men in these stories are so scared because they're without common sense.
Basically she had lost her home by being locked out. Going to sleep in front of a police station was a smart move. Safer than any parking lot. Plus it got quick help to solve her problem. The officer upon meeting her husband knew what was going on. That he was on drugs.
@margueritedavis7172 once when my dad had a drunken fit, Me, Mom and my four siblings slept in a car in a well lit parking lot. My grandma was out of town so she couldn't come to our rescue.
These are all Red Flags, I lived thru decades of abuse. Every day expecting tomorrow will be better, just as James does, erratic treatment so wife stays there.
Since when does any man use perfume? They use aftershave. Never heard of this, unless it's some modern thing? We used to hide until dad's mood was known. He ended up a paranoid dictator, a re-writer of history to make himself look better, got cranky and violent when we did not accept his new version. Would not get mwdical help for his mental problems. Horrible having to make excuses for his weird behaviour, knowing why but having to suffer through his abusive quirks. All of us left home as soon as we could and scattered, he'd hit whoever was close, not who messed up. He ended up alone, all of us are messed up.
I can relate to this. My dad was a mean nasty drunk. When Mom would kick him out ( if he would leave), he would offer us money if we would tell Mom that we wanted him back. I never did, but I wouldn't be surprised if my oldest (golden) brother did.
4 in Canada. We have a prekindergarten. Regular kindergarten kids have to already know basic skills like reading, writing, counting. Parents have to parent now.
@@ednaatluxton4918 well I don't know about you but I taught my 2 all those things before kindergarten! By 1st grade they could read on a 5th grade level by 5th grade a college level! I always read to them & with them they loved reading math science my youngest also got into doing plays, drill team, school yearbook, guitar! They enjoyed school & learning!
It depends on the country. Some pre-schools take children as young as 2. I'm thinking of France. By the way, there the pre-elementary grade is known as Maternelle.
