Long live Bob Marley! Has anyone seen the movie? What y'all think? #rydahsonly ⬇️ Rydahs Only: For My Rydahs | Music | Merch | Original Content | Link in bio
Yes, I saw the movie. It was an excellent movie the producers did an excellent job emotionally staging the movie. The movie made you feel the intensity of the revolution in Jamaica and Bob Marley's love for his people. I never knew Rastafarianism was a structured religious system.
Yesss, saw it twice.. Nice to see the story in visual, had in my mind all these years.. i am from the year two 77's clashed. Honestly i was also crying.
Chris Blackwell was riding with Bob from the beginning. He understood his assignment and knew he would get his money back . Being a person of integrity is not a respect of race .
@@talye - not to go back and forth there a difference between kindness & Integrity. Integrity is being honest and fair . You can be a wise businessman without being kind- overly generous etc.
New Zealand holds Bob in high esteem especially amongst our native Māori people !! Tupac Shakur and Bob are both mythical untouchable Legends here in New Zealand 🌟🌟
Imagine your father being one of the most well known and influential artists in the world and his family being completely broke. They were wise not to sell their father’s rights and publishing. $20 mil when you’re broke is an offer 99% of humans would not refuse but they stood strong. Thank God!❤ They knew their father’s legacy was priceless!
Same for us native Americans. The federal government offered us money years back for the black hills in South Dakota. We refused even though we are not rich and it’s currently sitting in trust for billions now with interest. We know there are things of this world that are not for sale. Once you put that price on it, will no longer be sacred. I admire this.
It's really funny how black men call themselves "leaders" and always talk about submission but they're extremely dependent on women. With stories like these, there's always black women fighting for black men or cleaning up some mess a black man made.
They fought against the system so much that they refused to use it to secure their families' futures. Why did the government try to do that, though? Key takeaway: when men don't do what they should the women have to come forward.
Yo that's disgusting that you have to fight and buy back what's rightfully yours.. imagine having to fight for YOUR father's image, name and likeness.. that's your god given right just by the simple fact you are your father's child. This is beyond heartbreaking. Utter madness🤯😲😳😔
As each child comes along, put an equal amount of money in their trust funds. During her divorce negotiations from Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver requested the a matching trust fund for his love child Joseph Baena. Coming from a long, long line of wronged Kennedy women, she had to do right by the kid and not blame him and the no good other woman for the no good father's dirty deeds!
Chris Blackwell is a legend for that. That white man did what not a single black person even offered to do. Respect to him and may he be ever blessed for it.
Big Respect to MRS RITA MARLEY the Woman stood Firm. She is more than a QUEEN and to all of Bobs Children they made it clear their fathers Hardwork, Publishing was not for sale.
Bob Marley left such a beautiful Legacy. He was so humbling, he stood for peace n love n made sure everyone knew it! Money didn’t move him, it wasn’t his ambition, he put his heart n soul in his music n you feel it when it plays. I can’t say enough about BM but saying he’s a Legend, the G.O.A.T would be an understatement! Peace and Blessings to him and his family and what a beautiful family they are🙏🏽💯🫶🏽💖🙌🏽👑✊🏽🇯🇲
Yea but his kids were going broke… that mindset is beautiful but not realistic in a world built partially on money and greed. You heard what his son said, they almost took everything.
WOW! This family has stood strong - I love how the movie is showing casing the strength of Rita and the heart of her bond with her husband - the trials were obvious but she had a vision she was fighting for that was so much bigger - not many women can have this story ❤
@@michelvanderlinde3420they’re money makers that helped pull ALL of Bob’s children out of poverty. Bob left them nothing but his name. That’s 12 children who had to be raised by single mothers. Rita his WIFE and her oldest daughter who Bob adopted could’ve excluded Bob’s outside children out of everything but they didn’t. They kept the family together because it’s what Bob would’ve wanted. They deserve respect.
Sorry but I know the Marley family personaly and I know what Rita and the Marley state did with the wailers father bobs death if you don't know the really facts please stop talk.you just believe what you see but you don't know them at all.
@@michelvanderlinde3420 I believe what his children have said. Why would the words of you an outsider matter when ALL of his children have publicly said they would have grown up in the slums if it wasn’t for Rita.
Yes fight for what is RIGHTFULLY yours..✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 Lord of his Mercy..It was a sad day when Bob Marley died. I cried. His picture was on the front of The Voice news paper and I photo copied it and put it all over North London College, to pay our respects to The King of Reggae..🫅🏾🫅🏾
Man he may not be with us but he still lives in all his beautiful children To this day he is still being missed l still listen to all his music rest well my beautiful brother
What a small world.. I was in the Explosives Dance Group with Victor Romero Evans, Brian Bovell, Chris Tummings, Eamonn Walker, Ricky Beadle-Blair, Chris Harvey and the list goes on... Great times and Great Memories 👌🏾💝😁
No matter what would have happened, Bob left his likeness, love, and music in all of his children, who still share these blessings with the world. Thank you to all the Marleys, for showing us a different way. 1Luv ❤
Bob would never sell his soul he was a true Prophet,Love how they fought for what was rightfully theirs,he has so much respect,he says mama Rita, glad they fought and won Cedella stood by her mom and fought the good fight ,much respect to Mr Chris Blackwell they all won The Marley's Legacy will Live on,Allow no one to buy you out if your birthright ,much Respect much Love
Bob Marley was one of the greatest artists of all time. He had the uncanny ability to synchronize socio-political insight with unique rhythms. He was a wise, talented man, a philosophical thinker, who died much too soon. Fortunately, he is immortalized in the musical gems that he left behind. RIP.
Greedy Government... That was an insult to injury to them. We all have to have a Will these days and somebody in the family needs to know where it's at. BM forever 🇯🇲✊🏾🇯🇲✊🏾🇯🇲 stay prepared
@@IDontCape4Nabs and my comment still stands as is and the law makers break those rules everyday. No tongue wrestle over here. Good morning Good night.
This reminds me of my daughters great grandmother when her husband bought land in Mississippi. When he died because women had no rights back then, her and her 9 children had to work to buy the land again or get married so the state wouldn't take away the land. Taking away a paid land...that's crazy.
Not at all Hopefully Jesus Christ live in them so that they show better example than their dad No women no cry! Wtf the man who cheat his wife non stop... no bob no cry yeah!
I still love Bob. I grew up on his music. He was one of a kind. I am glad that his children got what was rightfully available to them, with the help of a friend.❤
Son, all you needed was the music. That was the legacy. Get up, stand up 💯I know you know, but some don't know that he was prophetic.🙏🏽💕The people thank God for his brilliance.❤
Get up, stand up, fight for all your rights, generational legacy, it imperative not to sell or parents or grandparents, great grandparents legacy, it must pass on to generations Well done to the sister, who is a powerful woman in the family , ❤❤
❤️💛💚Im 43 i like to say i went to his concert wen he last came 2 nz. my mum was pregnant. since i was born his music has been my lifeline still to this day , uncle bobs music saved me, humbles me, its my go to when im feeling down when my mentality has been compramised this music i & i turn to. jahbless i am wholeheartedly 4cva Greatfull❤️💛💚 with love & light
I saw that amazing movie! My heart felt he and his family's pain. I felt a powerful connection. God Bless the family of Bob Marley RIP. YOU ARE GREATLY MISSE!!!. MY FAVORITE SONG IS 'ONE LOVE'. 💖🔥🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥✌️💯
Love you coming out with the truth and the courage to pressed through Respect for Mr Blackwell. He might be hated by others but he had shown that he have soul. Continue to press on through ❤💚💛🖤
Exactly! I was thinking the same thing MJJ family selling his catalog of music that alone was generational wealth we as black people alway ready to sell instead of investing longterm
@@evelynejeka7182 his parents, brothers and sisters too and his kids even though they don't have his blood he is the only dad they know and he raised them with so much love
@@anthonykitchen2836these people wicked though, maybe if they don't sell they'll off them. Like they did Sam Cooke when he was teaching fellow black artists how to own their music then Prince then Michael Jackson.
Rastas don't live by Babylon ways. As much as we think Bob should have done this and that, the fact that it worked out the way it should is the UNSEEN HANDS. Bob lived a life of Good Vibes and Energy and that controls the outcome👊🏿🏝
No he didn’t he was a sellout that kept ppl high and in delusion and they never saw their condition/lives screwed up. Sing, smoke have lots of children you can’t take care of. Marry the maid
God bless the warrior Queens, Rita and Cedella! They fought and stood up for their rights. Thank God for Chris Blackwell. He understood the assignment. Man of integrity! He was Bob's ride or die and captain the ship when Bob was no longer there. Nuff respect! Jah! Rastafari! One love!❤️🙏🇯🇲
It’s beautiful to see the strong bond between Bob Marley’s children. One would never know, Rohan had a different mother. I’m sure BM created the bond between his children!!❤️💜🖤
The legend said “Riches is life” So take all his possessions his name still lives on. ✊🏾The two women ❤! That’s what I call Loyalty to the King of Music - Bob Marley.
You don't know the Marley family thats clear. You don't know them totaly money makers nothing in the spirit of father bob Marley do some research before you talk about them
Peter Tosh used to call him Chris Whiteworst, I think Chris Blackwell was and is a man of his word 100%, tough in business, but he knew with Bob was a totally different vibe and respected what Bob did for him and his business. Bob was the main contributor to Island Record's success and always with the guidance of Chris Blackwell.
Wow That's Dedication, It's Crazy They Had To Fight For What Is Theirs, Thank God They Got The Help They Needed💯🙌🏾Don't Worry About A Thing Cuz Every Little Thing Gonna Be Alright1❤️
I cried when Mr.Marley died to because his music meant.so much to my generation/Mr Marley was a legend/a icon .glad his daughters fought for his rights.
