Ninjago has had some pretty crazy and insane ideas, but when is it too far? In this video I breakdown when I believe Ninjago jumped the shark, and no I don't mean the shark army Social Medias: / nathanstudios3 / nathans__channel
@@highstudstudiosbro the moment i saw that tech is an element i almost completely stopped taking this show seriously man wth were the writers thinking? does every goddamn power in this damn show have to be called an element!?
I really don't like Dragons Rising for many reasons. But the most related here is the worst for me. I just hate how they demolish and confuse the lore that has been established for 12 years.
@@lauraikokoyeah because the show that has one of the main character’s powers be simply energy took itself soooo seriously. tech as an element makes more sense than energy
I actually really liked the space episode! I love space & futuristic things, so when one of my favorite shows at the time included both of those things I really loved it! Rebooted is one of my favorite seasons! Even if it isn’t the most popular season I really enjoyed it.
Didn’t every Wildbrain season do this kind of thing, though? Ninja in another dimension, ninja in a video game, ninja underwater… it feels like the show has kind of surpassed the broad “ninja belong here” description. Even then, they’re barely ninjas.
@@NicoDiAngelo021 They send NINJA in Space. That makes it unrealistic. And it may be unrealistic but Prime Empire was handled WAY better than the Space Plot At least we got to explore The Videogame
Am i the only one who likes the space episode? In terms of theme rebooted is my favourite and what made ninjago my favourite piece of media because before S3 it was only a good show to me but not a favourite. I liked the nindroids, the futuristic elements, space, half masks and the godly music by Michael Kramer, Jay Vincent and The Fold.
In my opinion Seabound jumped the shark even more than Rebooted. Also, the ninja going to space served a purpose for the plot, because the golden weapons were located in space after the events of season 2, and the Overlord needed to harvest their power to become the golden master.
Not gonna lie I don’t actually remember the space episode that much but reboot it was actually one of my favorite seasons. I really like the idea of futuristic robots, and this future like setting with ninjas.
I am somehow 70% sure the will actually make a goddamn space season filled with random bullshit. And if they do, Nathan “will literally quit Ninjago” … That sounds like a crime.
Wait people actually hate the ninja going to space? I always liked it as a kid and now. But eith the points you pointed out, I can see why this is such a huge leap for Ninjago. Side note but I wanted to ask what's the OST in the background for this video?
nah most people like it, i just think he personally is picky with ninjago since it started with just four ninjas with golden weapons fighting snake ppl.
there are no sharks, nor fridges (except that one scene where zane was in the fridge and also in the movie when lloyd is using the door as a shield) in ninjago
U are right, they went to space just because its cool and that is fine. Also as much as i like that 1 space epsiode i am glad it was one episode and didnt put aliens in the series.
2:46 The funniest frame in the entire film. 4:20, 5:16 The Ninja never even went to High School because they joined the team, so Wu has likely broken several education laws. Or the Ninja were just home schooled.
Okay i have seen many comments that actually like the space episode so either the creator is the minority or we the people who enjoyed it are the minority.
I prefer space over any more being uploaded into a computer plot. I'm sick of sword art online copies, even the original that everyone copies is trash.
Sword Art Online was not the first show to create a "Traped In a videogame" plot. Calling every story that has the characters being trapped in a game "Sword Art Online Copie" is just idiotic and unfair
@@MagicPotato08 I still despise the trapped in a video game story, and I'm not trying to say SAO was the first, but that it's the one that made it a popular and annoying and nonsensical trope. I can't stand more than an episode of that stuff, much less an entire season.
@@ThumbKnuckle Thats fine, but you still shouldnt call it a copy, because thats just wrong. It may be similar, but is NOT a copy. It has its own ideas that stand it apart from other "trapped in a game" plots
@@MagicPotato08 they are derivative and copy parts of the most popular one, even if stuff is new it just makes little sense and is more annoying than any other story trope. Space travel is more plausible than video game consciousness. That and I'm sick of what pop culture thinks gaming is like.
