This video will explain when RENEW PROTECT is NOT recommended. ➡️ RENEW PROTECT is a True Restoration and Protection product and must form a bond into the surface. The surface must be completely clean and free of other product residue.
More information and How-to Videos are here: www.renewprote....
Here is some info from our site QUESTION & ANSWER page:
Q: What is the best way to prep and remove other protectants?
A: Just do the following:
Interior: This may require multiple cleanings with window cleaner or isopropyl alcohol. Always try a small test area first because these products can damage surfaces. Big, but here! If you have used 'protectants' repeatedly on interior surfaces, then we DO NOT RECOMMEND using DASH. In this case, the interior plastics and vinyl will be saturated with silicone and solvents, which will block the proper bonding of the DASH.
Exterior: You can give it a good wash and wait a couple of weeks. Typical protectants are designed to fail quickly.
Many have asked about 'stripping' previous protectants with use of petroleum distillates. This is not a good idea and could worsen the surface prep and damage plastics. With tires, the volatile chemicals will pull the embedded synthetic wax to the surface. These waxes will act as a barrier and prevent RENEW PROTECT from forming a covalent bond into the substrate.
Q: Why is applying typical 'protectants' a bad idea?
A: Well, how to keep this brief . . . so-called 'protectants' including the newer cheap 'ceramics' are mainly water, glycol (antifreeze), sand (silica) or polysiloxane. To make this combo work requires emulsification. Silica has UV reflective values and is harmless. The emulsifier(s) and the glycol are the bad bits!
Glycol is used to maintain hydration and keep the surface looking 'wet and shiny'. That old tire or faded trim looks great when it rains . . . right? That's what most protectants do, they temporarily hydrate the substrate. Glycol is also neurotoxin, so it's a bad idea to use on interiors. These emulsifiers will eventually break down any surface.

🎬 Welcome to the Channel of D3 | RENEW PROTECT
➡️ RENEW PROTECT products are a completely new approach to surface restoration and preservation. RENEW PROTECT products are designed for maximum protection and longevity, thereby reducing your need for product purchasing and repeat applications.
RENEW PROTECT’s SATN, BLAK, GLOZ, DASH, and HOME are designed to restore and protect the color and integrity of rubber, plastic, vinyl, tires, trim, bumpers, interiors, door panels, golf carts, seals, hoses, bed liners, dull paint, gel coats, finished leather, outdoor furniture, spa covers, awnings, signs, de-icing boots, and more 💯
➡️ RENEW PROTECT is designed for true restoration beyond original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. SATN, BLAK, GLOZ, DASH, and HOME create a plasticizer-rich, elastomeric polymer, dry-seal finish.
RENEW PROTECT products are also infused with zinc, quartz, and titanium oxides and ceramic oxides to block UV and ozone. The dry-seal repels dirt and water and creates a shiny new look lasting 1 to 2 years. Treated surfaces require only regular cleaning with mild detergent and/or water. This technology also serves to retard “blooming” and “off-gassing” processes and greatly enhance the retention of OEM protective elements in surfaces ✅
▶️ RENEW PROTECT BLAK also contains carbon black and is ideal for the restoration of faded black surfaces and their UV-absorbing, protective properties. 🔝

I had a chance to use SATN, GLOZ and BLAK this month. All worked great on my tires after thoroughly cleaning them. I was most impressed with BLAK on my old Acura that’s been parked outside for years. The tires went from old looking to new in minutes! Thank you for making great products!

Ahhhhh... This is what just happened to me. Brand new 2024 Mazda cx-90. I used p&s brake buster 2x to make sure (or so I thought) to get the tire shine off from the dealership... It was separating and now looks brown. I'll try and scrub it off tomorrow... I hope! This video makes sense and I ain't mad at y'all. The dealership don't know how to detail lol

The SATN may have too much shine for your clients, and the faster dry time compared to the DASH product could be an issue. "Apply to a COOL and clean surface."

I got almost new off-road tires with same problems like 6 months ago and still struggling to remove the greasy stuff.

So is blak, satn & gloz basically the same product with added shine? Is it possible to add satn or gloz over blak if more shine is wanted? Thanks

YEP! BLAK as a base coat followed by GLOZ, on instructions, give you Super-Shine.

Unlike typical 'protectants, ' our products do not contain active solvents or glycol. The products fully dry in an hour and no off-gassing will happen.

Can Dash be used over a golf cart dash that has had your products of Blak and Satin put on them?

You can add coating of DASH... but no need. The BLAK and/or SATN will last 5-10 YEARS!

I bought a brand new car and the dealership applied Performance Products, Inc. Lazer Brite silicone tire dressing. I guess it will be a while before I could use D3?

Give it a month and repeat hard cleanings.
