The pandemic does its number to new/blooming relationships or long-term relationships that became rocky before the virus caused a worldwide (or at least in many countries) lockdown. Nothing left to do but to use your time productively and change your perception for a bit and see this as an opportunity for a lot of things. The best thing to do right now is to admit to your ex that you've effed up and try to be patient and sympathetic with what your ex is going through and just disappear from your ex's life for a while, because right now, you are a constant reminder of the pain and your ex needs to heal from that first. There does need to be concrete changes before getting an ex back, and this applies to both sides. Average time is 30 days but can go anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks in usual cases. If there's been some endless begging and/or refusing to cut off contact, I usually suggest to give it more time, around 2 months or even more. Cheating instances are different if you've cheated, could be longer or shorter depending on how your ex reacts. Do take note that in some instances where the dumpee just couldn't take the hint and continually bugs their ex for months, there comes a time where the ex reaches a "breaking point" and confirms it's the right decision to break up and becomes hellbent in moving on from you. So the bottom line is the "no contact" rule is best applied when the breakup is still fresh. Keep in mind that your ex is suffering too, even though it seems like the opposite. I have been in a situation like this long before. You need to let him know that he cannot have it both ways. It’s either one or the other. Like you both get back together or stay friends. It takes two to make a relationship work but if your ex is adamant in breaking up, it's really best to give each other some time. Being dependent is okay, but if you're at a point where you've become too dependent, then the "no contact" rule can definitely benefit you and get back to yourself, get that freedom back. Yes, your best bet is still to cut off contact completely for around a month or even more in order to clear your heads. You'd increase your chances of getting your ex back if you've got your sh*t together than if you were doing the opposite of the no contact rule which is begging/pleading or negotiating/trying to woo your ex again. Well, there are a few rare who take their exes back if you beg/plead but it hardly ever lasts since these people are taking their exes back out of pity. So my point is, don't let your ex take you back out of pity, all right? The best way to avoid that is to work on yourself and get your life together by having fun, hobbies, etc. and to stop chasing your ex. You were definitely rebound...and I would never suggest going with someone on a rebound. They just use you to get over their ex and occupying their time. They are rarely emotionally available. The reason she wants to stay friends is because she's not emotionally invested in you, maybe knows you're a good, and just keeping you on the back burner for when she is POSSIBLY ready. Do yourself a favor and cut your losses. Do the no contact, if and when she's ready, she'll reach out. It's up to you to decide whether she is even worth it. Slowly I started to figure out she was still obsessed with her ex or her "loyal" friend as she said. We almost had sex on our last encounter but she left saying she would get too attached to me and it will hurt her, because she knew we wouldn't go far cuz her parents wouldn't accept me. Most people say it's not okay

You can but it will be bad for you because you'll only delay the "in denial phase. No contact means cutting off communication with your ex in any way, shape or form for at least 30 days. It also means ignoring unimportant or random messages from your ex for at least 30 days straight. This also involves NOT looking at any of your ex's online profiles so you won't overthink things. In other words, the "no contact" period is a time where you fully focus on yourself and take time to heal.

Try to do the opposite of the "no contact" rule and see if your ex is receptive to contact at this point. If your ex isn't, then it's very important to give it time to let whatever anger there is between you two, especially from your ex's side, subside. With on-and-off relationships, oftentimes this is a sign of underlying issues which have been left unaddressed for quite some time. I get this question a lot so I wouldn't be surprised if you've found your answer before I even get to it -- if you've checked my other videos, that is. In this type of situation, try to limit your contact with your ex. And by that I mean only interact with him/her "only" when absolutely necessary. Hey Brad I think my ex is done with me ,he actually unblocked me from Instagram and Facebook except WhatsApp but I think he has moved on and on the 18th is his birthday and the NC ends on the 17th!

Like I always say, the decision is ultimately up to you. You know your situation and your ex best. Sometimes a relationship can be salvaged and worth the save but sometimes it isn't, especially if there's cheating or some other type of abuse involved. It's your life and it's your decision.
